Italy: Police commissioner ATTACKED by migrants with razor blades in his OWN HOME, Matteo Salvini blasts EU migrant crisis, ‘Insane!’

The migrants climbed up the building to the second floor to enter the apartment of the police commissioner, Nuccio Garozzo, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.

The Sicilian police commissioner was attacked in his home, “where his wife sleeps. Where his children come and play with their toys.” (movie quote)

Brutally assaulted in his own home by a gang of migrants, in Italy for “humanitarian reasons.”

Note the use of the term “far-right” in all of these press reports for anyone who opposes this savage invasion. That is, the one English news outlet that covered it.

Insane is an understatement.

Italy’s far-right Interior Minister Matteo Salvini has blamed an attempted robbery of a Sicilian police commissioner on the EU migrant crisis, claiming his country ‘is insane’.

Nuccio Garozzo woke to find two men having broken into his home in Catania, Sicily, and was reportedly attacked with a razor blade when he took on the would-be burglars.

Local media reports that the two fled the scene, but that Mr Garozzo was able to apprehend one of them, who was later identified as an 18-year-old Gambian migrant.

Salvini launched into a furious rant about implementing his League Party’s anti-immigrant policies and published images of the bloodied Mr Garozzo on his Facebook.

‘We’re insane,’ Salvini wrote, stating that the attacked Mr Garozzo had ‘all my solidarity’.

He demanded that the arrested burglar should be expelled from Italy ‘immediately’, promising that with his proposed ‘Safety Decree’ any asylum seeker who commits a crime would be ‘kicked out of our country without exception.’

He added that ‘who brings war into our homes are not welcome.’

Local media reports that the 18-year-old and a fellow countryman had entered the house Mr Garozzo shares with his wife and daughter in the centre of Catania by scaling a water-pipe and climbing through an open window.

The noise woke Mr Garozzo, and the would-be robbers slashed him with a razor-blade, before jumping from a first-floor balcony to escape.
One of them managed to flee, while the other suffered serious injuries from the jump and was apprehended in the street by Mr Garozzo.
It was reported that the arrested 18-year-old had arrived in Italy in December 2016 and had been given asylum on ‘humanitarian grounds’ due to him being underage at the time and ‘the presence of a serious genetic disease’, according to Catania Today.
The newspaper reported that the teenager had a criminal record and had been reported for violence and drug dealing in 2017.

Mr Garozzo was taken to hospital and is reportedly set to make a full recovery following 80 stitches to his wounds.
The incident took place in Catania, a port city on the island of Sicily which recently saw a political standoff between the government and the EU after Italy refused to let a ship of nearly 140 migrants disembark.
The coast guard vessel had docked in Catania on Monday 20th August after rescuing the migrants on the Mediterranean, but Italy refused to let those on board leave the boat without an EU commitment to relocate them.
The migrants were stuck on the boat for ten days before Ireland and Albania agreed to take some of them in in a deal brokered by the Catholic Church.
