Israel and Chad set to establish diplomatic relations

17

Israel is set to establish diplomatic relations with Chad, a Muslim majority country in Central Africa. This would mark a major defeat for the “Palestinian” Authority, which has been working vigorously to prevent African countries from establishing closer relations with Israel. The “Palestinian” leadership knows that without African votes at the UN, they are finished. How much longer does Mahmoud Abbas think he can count on the 54 African nations to vote against Israel at the UN? Five years. Maybe ten. Abbas must know that the PA (even with the help of corrupt South Africa) will not be able to slow Israel’s surge into Africa for much longer.

Chad is another example of an African country that wants to establish ties with Israel because of Israel’s expertise in areas such as water, agriculture, energy, health services, and defense. Chad (like most African countries) require significant assistance in these highly critical areas. Chad establishing relations with Israel will save the lives of many in the impoverished African country. The “Palestinians” know this. However, they would rather see the citizens of Chad suffer so that they could perpetuate their conflict with Israel. Evil.

Israel prepares for diplomatic relations with Muslim nation Chad

The Muslim-majority African state may soon reestablish diplomatic relations with Israel 46 years after breaking them off.

Chad and Israel have been quietly discussing the renewal of diplomatic relations for three months, according to a report Wednesday on Channel 10 News.

The ball started rolling in May, said the report, when Israel’s UNESCO ambassador, Carmel Shama-Hacohen received a visit from a Rabbi Avraham Moyal and a French-Jewish businessman, Philip Solomon. They told him that President Idriss Deby wanted to start talks on the diplomatic front, and the Foreign Ministry told Shama-Cohen to go ahead.

Perhaps indicating the seriousness with which the president is taking the issue, the report added that Deby would like to send his son in the near future as his personal emissary to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the possibilities.

This would not be the first time such an agreement was rumored to be imminent, with the Hebrew press relaying unconfirmed reports in 2005 that Chad was set to renew relations. Much more recently however, in June 2016, Netanyahu swung through four African states – Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Kenya – and emphasized the importance to his government of rejuvenating ties with other countries on the continent.

Just a few weeks later, the overwhelmingly Muslim, West African Republic of Guinea reestablished relations with Israel. In mid-July, then-Foreign Ministry Director-General Dore Gold flew to Chad to meet Deby in his palace, which Israel considered “an important step in our relations with Chad,” as the Foreign Ministry spokesman said at the time.

Chad would naturally be interested in Israel’s technology and expertise in countering terrorism, as it shares a border with Libya, which is in a state of internal disarray due to infighting between factions that include radical Islamists. And over recent years, the fear of Arab displeasure over relations with Jerusalem has eroded with Israel’s quiet rapprochement with Sunni Muslim states who see Israel as a partner in their antipathy towards Iran.

It is these countries specifically that pressured Chad to break ties with the Jewish state in 1972 after a decade of good relations and cooperation. Israel had made tremendous inroads into Africa beginning in the late fifties, providing technological aid and know-how in agriculture and other fields. Following the Six Day War in 1967, most African nations cut their ties with Jerusalem, but Chad lasted another five years before doing so.

if you can be brainwashed then it must be low IQ.
very essense of IQ is ability to not get brainwashed and seek other viewpoints and use inherent IQ to make right decision.
Most Muslims have low IQ coz they are brainwashed from childhood.

That’s dayummed good for an African nation. That puts it three to four points, above soomawliah, and a generous six above sooodaan.

Maybe with good cooperative relations with a innovative, well meaning, >100 IQ nation, Chad could in the long run, improve its average IQ numbers…

Good luck! It’s good to have a cordial relationship but I see this as foolish.
Muslims HATE Jews! It’s in their religion to hate Jews and Christians.
OTOH who can blame them for trying?

Trump: No more funding for Palestinians until they negotiate
Sep 7, 2018 @ 9:15
http://www.debka.com/mivzak/trump-no-more-funding-for-palestinians-until-they-negotiate/
President Donald Trump, in a 25-minute conference call to rabbis and Jewish leaders for the New Year, asserted Thursday that the US would not renew funding to the Palestinians until they agreed to come to the negotiating table with Israel. “The United States was paying them tremendous amounts of money. And I say, ‘You’ll get money, but we’re not paying until you make a deal. If you don’t make a deal, we’re not paying,’” he said.

I suppose Israeli politicians have weighed the pluses and minuses and decided on balance it would be to Israel’s advantage to restore diplomatic relations with an African muslim country. They know a lot more than me.

I doubt very much if Chad has anything that Israel cannot do without or get cheaper elsewhere. Still, it means one less hostile vote in the UN, for what that’s worth, which is probably zilch.

I doubt Chad agreed to this for free. What do they hope to get out of it? Perhaps their embassy could be used for espionage within Israel?
