Muslim group calls for Franklin Graham to be denied UK visa over his “islamophobia”

31

It isn’t surprising that the Muslim Council of Britain would be calling for Franklin Graham to be banned from entering the UK for criticizing Islam. After all, they banned me for telling the truth about Islam and jihad, and they have banned other freedom fighters as well, such as Lauren Southern and Brittany Pettibone. Meanwhile, the UK Home Office has let in a steady stream of jihad preachers. So they’re getting the Britain they want.

“Muslim group calls for preacher linked to Trump to be denied UK visa,” by Harriet Sherwood, Guardian, September 9, 2018 (thanks to Mark):

Britain’s leading Muslim organisation has called on the Home Office to refuse a UK visa to a prominent US evangelical preacher with links to Donald Trump and a track record of Islamophobic and homophobic statements.

Story continues below advertisement

Franklin Graham, the son of the evangelist Billy Graham, has been invited to preach at a Christian festival in Blackpool this month.

The preacher, who said Trump’s election victory was evidence that “God’s hand” was at work, has called Islam “evil” and “wicked”, claimed Barack Obama’s “problem is that he was born a Muslim” and said Satan was the architect of same-sex marriage and LGBT rights.

The Muslim Council of Britain has joined three MPs, including a government whip, in demanding the Home Office apply its criteria on hate speech to Graham’s visa request.

The MCB said: “In the past the government has banned individuals whom they claim are ‘not conducive to the public good’. Mr Graham’s remarks are on record and clearly demonstrate a hatred for Muslims and other minorities.

“We would expect the government to apply its criteria here. If it does not, it will send a clear message that it is not consistent in challenging all forms of bigotry.”

Fiyaz Mughal, the founder of Tell Mama, which monitors Islamophobia in the UK, said it was shocking that Graham was being given a platform. His views were “regressive and need to be challenged,” he said.

Gordon Marsden, the Labour MP for Blackpool South, said he would write to Sajid Javid, the home secretary, this week to call for Graham to be denied a visa.

“It’s perfectly possible for the government not to admit someone whose presence is not conducive to the public good,” he said. “Graham’s visit to Blackpool is likely to cause considerable offence.”

Paul Maynard, the MP for Blackpool North and Cleveleys and a government whip, and Afzal Khan, the Labour MP for Manchester Gorton, have also opposed the visit.

Graham is scheduled to be the main speaker at the Festival of Hope, which opens at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens conference centre on 21 September. The event has been organised by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and is backed by more than 30 local churches of various denominations.

Some churches in the area have objected to Graham’s appearance. Nina Parker, the pastor of Liberty church, which welcomes LGBT worshippers, described Graham’s presence as “extremely destructive” and said it was “causing division between churches and within churches”.

The Blackpool Methodist Circuit said it “cannot support any preaching or teaching which promotes homophobia or is likely to be damaging to interfaith dialogue”. It declined to support the festival “in the light of various comments made by Franklin Graham in the past”.

The independent evangelical Crossgate church in Preston is one of several churches to have withdrawn support for the festival in recent months. “I believe Franklin Graham will come to teach the gospel, but many people are upset by his comments and I cannot stand by those comments,” pastor Ron Farrington said….

Sharia Police in Uk are not willing to protect those who speak truth about islam https://tinyurl.com/ya6j3phj

Instead go after those who expose the jihadi crimes and oppose their Left/Liberal supporters !

Given that Queen Elizabeth II befriended Billy Graham years ago, let’s see whether she will endorse a visit to the UK by his son!

If islam has its way, they’ll also ban evangelists inside the UK. Still, if G-d gives Franklin Graham and others a mandate, nothing and no one can stop them. G-d will make a way, when there seems to be no way.

The UK as a nation, has chosen the broad gate and path. At one time they knew better, but have collectively pushed God aside. Their time is over ; there will be no revivals for England. Judgement waits now for them along with the rest. One only needs to observe the times to see that all the puzzle pieces have lined up like never before ; biblical prophecy is unfolding before us, and will culminate in His soon ( very ) return.
The bible gives hundreds of prophecies, many with incredible details, and all have come to pass exactly as foretold. One would have to be a fool to dismiss this book and its message. Unfortunately, many have not researched the scriptures, and have instead allowed themselves to be lied to and deceived. False religious teachings and humanism empowered by the falsehoods of Darwinism, have darkened many eyes to even want to look for God’s truth, and nation after nation have turned their backs to Him.
If Graham is banned, as I expect so, it will be a statement against Christianity, not him, and it will be clear where the UK stands, as a nation – a once beacon of Christianity to the world.

You have a good, biblical point. When Nineveh seemed to be hopeless, G-d still gave Jonah a mandate (which he eventually obeyed), and the Ninevites responded to Jonah’s preaching with repentance and fasting (from the king on down). G-d, in His mercy, did not judge Nineveh at that time. Later, Nineveh again did evil, and the prophet Nahum prophesied judgment, and this time it came to pass.

I cannot always discern the times when things are fulfilled. America, in my opinion, is ripe for judgment. But there are believers who are interceding for the nation and for its leaders, and now there is some respite. Hopefully, the respite will open the doors for revival. But how long the respite will last is anyone’s guess. America will eventually be judged, because it has open the floodgates for homosexuality, violence, the occult, upside-down justice, and so forth. Yet, I still pray daily for America and its leaders — and for revival in our churches.

It is of course not just the UK ; most of the West have been refusing to heed God, the US included, but I believe a faithful remnant there is the reason God is using Trump to not only do needful things, but to also bring a short-lived revival of sorts to America. He is not ” religious ” as other Presidents have been, but he is affirming and empowering believers across the land by his boldness to invoke the blessings of God at almost every internal WH meeting.
At first, Pharaoh hardened his own heart, afterwards, God did. The once Christian west has not only turned away from God, they are embracing the most absurd and often evil notions that at times defy explanation ; unless one considers that perhaps they have been given over to it as 2nd Thess. describes.
Jesus said no set time would be given for that ” day “, but he did say to be watchful of the times and to know His approach was near as we see certain things unfold. John prophecised in Christ, nearly 2 thousand years ago in Rev.12 of a sign in the heavens. This prophecy was fulfilled to the letter in September 2017 and was, among other things, a call to His church, His ” bride “, to get ready for His imminent return as judgement was about to begin.

I believe the evidence strongly suggests that God’s blessings left the nation of England a while ago, and deservedly so ; though that wouldn’t preclude Him from interacting on a personal level.
I think you are right that they will likely ban him ; to do otherwise, would be inconsistent with all that has been done to other voices of the right, and it should act as a major wake up call to anyone still asleep to current events, but it likely will do so to only a relative few.

If Javid is as paranoid as the Council-they won’t give him the visa. They can’t handle an opposing position let alone an accurate truth. Standpoint’s recent article on the Fortress of Europe must begin with the exclusion of the radical cult.

I hold no doubt that May and her tagalong Muslim devotees will capitulate to the Muslims’ demands. If denying Franklin Graham entry, those of the non-Muslim citizenry should take a page from the Progressive-Islam by taking to the streets in protest. Those doing so, needless to say, would be branded Fascists by the Progressive-Fascists but better that, than kowtow or fall subject to the totalitarian May and company, Islam.

Christians may not be Islam’s benchmark of hatred; the Jews and the State of Israel, regrettably, hold that criterion; however, Christianity is facing extinction, too. Eradication not merely by the Muslim scourge but the West’s, toxic, political malevolence.

The UK govt, politicians, police, media, etc have completely surrendered to Islam and are now taking their marching orders from Muslims. This would’ve been unheard of 20 years ago and yet here we are. They treat allies as enemies and enemies as allies.

They keep appeasing Muslims and all this will do is make their country become even more Islamified until nothing will save them except civil war, assuming they would even have the nerve to fight back.

I don’t see any “light-bulb” moment for them-a wake up call or realization that they’re losing they’re country. Their children and grand-children will become real slaves of Muslims since that’s what they do to people when they conquer your country.

Fortunately not all Britons have given up, there are still many millions who are ready to fight against Islam and take back their country. I think their best chance of peacefully removing Islam is by voting for Anne Marie Water’s For Britain party into power.

The anti-Islam movement is growing in the West, I believe if the trend continues then Europeans will expel the Muslims/migrants from their countries in the next 10 years or so.

They talk about barring Graham but are happy to embrace Choudhary ! ~ when any critiscism is silenced we may as well invite Hitler & Goebbels to return & run the UK ~ After all they tried to exterminate the jews which is what Islam wants to do & set their laws for everybody which is what Islam wants to do ~ Hitler tried to eliminate homosexuals & make women child bearing creatures only which is what islam wants to do ~ he made war on anyone that didn’t accept his way which is what Islam wants to do ~ bye bye democracy ~ they’ll make sure you’ll be gone soon……..

That’s my home town. The last time I was there it was pretty much muslimrein. But that was 15 years ago and those slimy muslims crawl into any place they can. I had been thinking of leaving London for a while, but I can’t see myself comfortable in Blackpool any more if it is starting to look like Burnley or Blackburn. There’s some nice countryside up there though. Most anywhere will be better than East London today.
