Radical hard-left Senator Cory Booker released confidential documents here to undermine Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings. In fact, it does the opposite.
Booker said he understood by releasing documents and emails that were deemed only available to Senate Judiciary Committee members and not to the general public could result in expulsion from the Senate. Why should it not? Is the rule of law applicable only to non-party members?

Bring It.’ Cory Booker Breaks Senate Rules to Release Confidential Documents on Brett Kavanaugh
The partisan contention continued into the third day of Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings, with New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker releasing confidential documents to the public in a knowing violation of Senate rules.

“I knowingly violated the rules that were put forth, and I’m told that the committee confidential rules have knowing consequences,” he said. “I am going to release the email about racial profiling, and I understand that the penalty comes with potential ousting from the Senate.”
Booker said on Thursday morning that he felt compelled to publicly release the documents from Kavanaugh’s time in the George W. Bush Administration, because he felt the process has not been fair and that the public should know what is in them. The documents he released related to his line of questioning for Kavanaugh last night, about an e-mail discussing racial profiling.
“I knowingly violated the rules that were put forth, and I’m told that the committee confidential rules have knowing consequences,” Booker said during the hearing. “I am going to release the email about racial profiling, and I understand that the penalty comes with potential ousting from the Senate.”
“I openly invite and accept the consequences of my team releasing that document right now,” he added.
After Cornyn read the Senate rules about the repercussions for disclosing confidential business of the Senate, which includes committees, which carries the punishment of expulsion from the chamber, Booker responded, “bring it.”
Less than a half hour later, his office released the documents. Neither his office nor the Senate Judiciary Committee immediately responded to questions about the possible repercussions for the Senator.
The e-mail, dated January 17, 2002, and titled “racial profiling,” Kavanaugh says he generally favors race neutral security measures, but needs to grapple with the question of what to do in the interim before a “truly effective and comprehensive race-neutral system is developed and implemented.”
Booker just released a batch of emails between Kavanaugh and other officials that date back to his early days in George W. Bush‘s administration as an associate of the White House Counsel at the time, Alberto Gonzales.
A lot of the emails appear to be internal communication from 2002 and include discussions on deciding how to screen people at airports and elsewhere in response to 9/11. Kavanaugh makes clear that racial profiling was on the table as an immediate — and potential long-term — option.
They also discuss a race-neutral system as ideal, but appear to acknowledge that using racial profiling in the interim would be most effective. Kavanaugh and his associates also seem to note legal loopholes they could invoke to get away with racial profiling and avoid liability. No word yet if Booker has been sanctioned for his actions.
Senator Cory Booker says he’s willing to be thrown out of the United States Senate for releasing a confidential document allegedly showing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is guilty of promoting racial profiling … but Booker says it’s the right thing to do.
Booker dropped the bombshell Thursday morning at the Senate hearing. He said there’s an email which is confidential because of national security concerns. In the email, Booker says there’s evidence Kavanaugh, when he was an aide to President George W. Bush, suggested it was appropriate to racially profile people to blunt post-911 terrorism.
Booker says he intends to release the email knowing the consequences to him could be severe — ouster from the Senate.
Senator John Cornyn read the potential charge against Booker at the hearing, and the Democratic Senator from New Jersey responded bluntly, “Then apply the rule and bring the charges.”

Booker did not “break the law” in releasing those documents…..they were cleared for him to use the day before…..he only pretended he was breaking the law to look like some kind of “hero” to the Left…..it was all a stunt….this people have gone beyond deranged.
In the future, any other Supreme Court nominee hearings should be held differently…..as they are supposed to be open to the public…even if the “public” is violent and disrupts the hearings…..then I say set aside another room with a video feed of the proceedings….put all PAID RIOTERS into that room and let them watch the proceedings from there….problem solved…
And if any of them get into the confirmation hearing by any means…..taser their azzz……
