EU Parliament Takes Unprecedented Step To Punish Hungary For Opposing Illegal Migrant Invasion

59

Totalitarian tactics. Hungary is protecting its citizens and its borders. The fall of France, Germany, and the UK to the invasion is a cautionary tale. Hungary should be applauded, not punished.

The European Parliament passed a motion on Wednesday declaring that Hungary is at risk of breaching the EU’s core values, triggering a disciplinary process that could exacerbate deep divisions within the bloc.

EU Parliament Takes Unprecedented Step To Punish Hungary For Failing To Uphold ‘European Values’

The European Parliament voted Wednesday to censure Hungary for pursuing policies that Brussels lawmakers say violate the bloc’s “core values.”

Will Racke, Daily Caller, September 12, 2018:

Story continues below advertisement

The decision triggers a disciplinary process under Article 7 of the EU charter that could include sanctions against the Hungarian government and, potentially, the loss of voting rights in the EU Council.

Wednesday’s vote, which passed 448-197 with 48 abstentions, escalates an ongoing political feud between Brussels and the conservative nationalist government of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Under Orban’s leadership, Hungary has been at the vanguard of the rising populist-nationalist phenomenon that has swept across Europe in recent years in opposition to EU policies on immigration and multiculturalism.

Hungary was the first EU country to crack down on a surge of illegal immigration during the 2015 refugee crisis, closing its borders and rejecting Brussels’ demands to accept migrants. Orban explicitly defended Hungary’s rejection of EU immigration plans on grounds of cultural preservation, accusing Brussels of failing to protect Europe from Muslim “invaders.”

“We believe that a large number of Muslims inevitably leads to parallel societies, because Christian and Muslim society will never unite,” he told the German newspaper Bild in a recent interview. Multiculturalism, he added, “is only an illusion.”

Prior to Wednesday’s vote, European Parliament member Judith Sargentini of Holland issued a report saying Hungary’s hardline immigration policies and its attacks on pro-migration NGOs pose a “systemic threat” to the EU’s fundamental principles. Sargentini’s report also raised concerns about Hungary’s restrictions on independent media and academic institutions.

The vote marks the first time the EU’s legislative body has moved to initiate Article 7 proceedings against a member state. The article was invoked by the European Commission — the EU’s executive branch — against Poland over its judicial reforms last year.

Under Article 7, a member state can be sanctioned when it violates European values of “human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities,” according to Deutsche Welle.

Wednesday’s vote does not guarantee that Hungary will face sanctions from Brussels. The measure now moves to a vote by leaders of the EU’s 28 member states, who must unanimously approve sanctions.

Hungary’s ideological ally Poland, which has also come under fire from Brussels, is unlikely to support sanctions against Orban’s government.

But it seems not just Hungary has concerns about the EU’s policies, many Eastern European states also share strong reservations.

All the more reason to add Austria and Italy. The EU is a deliberate global cesspool as a step toward NWO. Wake up Europe; you are being played. See Standpoint’s article on Fortress Europe.
Migration used to be a natural process, now it is a political weapon. Germany once tried to rule the world, now it is ruining it.

if i’m not mistaken, hungary receives money from the EU as one of the poorer states; give her a decade or so of freedom of speech and property, however, as mr. orban is doing, and that need will be gone. mr. trump should offer hungary that hand up, so that she can “hungaryexit” and defend herself from the nuclear-armed islamic EU that is coming.

The EU is not a religious community. The “rich countries” give money to poorer countries in order that people (usually) working in construction will make enough money to buy the products of the rich countries. Thus, it is not the rich countries who pay the poor countries, but the taxpayers of the rich European countries, who “willingly” expand the horizon of their billionaires. And in general minimum between 90-95% of all that was paid goes back to the one who “helped”, except when much more goes “back”.
Of course, this is one of the best ways to collapse your economy, but if it works today, so it is perfect!

You read my mind! 448-197 is not good!

Apparently native Hungarians are not included in this safe guard and being used against them:

Under Article 7, a member state can be sanctioned when it violates European values of “human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities,” according to Deutsche Welle.

*all* of the truly free countries of the world need to band together, cut off the UN, and become a fortress of freedom. sadly, the u.s. may soon not be one of those countries. when that happens, i will resist. until the collapse, however, i will obey the law, because that is the only way that a republic can exist. let lying leftists like loretta lynch, eric holder, barack obama, and hillary clinton break and ignore the law; i will have no part in treason by lawbreaking.

Laws, bad laws laws are to be, must be broken in order to keep us free of the New Left Marxist or we “Shall Perish From This Earth”. Sometime the intent of the law is lost in the letter of the law.

They could also close their airspace to air traffic from the Europeon Urinal, but it would hardly have the same effect.

In every WESTERN country where Muslims are in the minority, they are obsessed with minority rights.
In every ISLAMIC country with a Muslim majority, …there are no minority rights!

islam is NOT a religion of peace!!
islam is a sick and twisted terrorist ideology that is completely incompatible with western civilization!!

Deport all muslims, CITIZENS OR not, from the west at once!!
Ban all muslims from traveling to the west, …FOREVER
Implement muslim control, NOT gun control.

Defending your person, your family, your country from attack and invasion from those forcing a violent, terrorist, genocidal ideology on western civilization…is …not … islamophobia ….or racist. ….It is just common sense.

The people of Canada, Europe and Britain must throw down their treasonous leaders forcing this evil upon them.

So there you have the truth. Far from being a democratic union of 27 members, this is a totalitarian demand by the ruling elite.

Best thing Hungary can do is get out now, and make damn sure they know exactly who their EU enemies are, so they can refuse them entry to Hungary when everybody is flocking to one of the remaining safe places in Europe.

spot on, Overit; the only people who will be able to escape will be the leftist fools who enabled the collapse of western europe, since they have lots of money and may be able to bribe their way out. if the visigrád countries were to grant them entry, they would bring their dangerously stupid ideas with them.

it is possible that they will have learned their lesson, since probably 98% of leftists are just nominally leftist; only 1% to 2% are hard-core Party members and actually understand what is happening. OTOH, letting in all the fools means that the Party can send in agitators with them, in a fashion rather like the ~10% pious muslims that come in with the MINOs who don’t really know what their cult teaches, and with the same disastrous results. keep ’em all out; they will have had their chance, and they will have destroyed their own country. let them live (for a while, until forced to say the shahada and start practicing islam in earnest). i rather suspect that most of them will make good muslims, once they understand their choices; none of them will have the stones to resist.

… a member state can be sanctioned when it violates European values of
“human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and
respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to
minorities” …

what a load of crap; citizens in UKistan, belgiumistan, and other eurabian EU countries are *routinely* robbed of their dignity, freedom, equality under the law, and respect for their human right of free speech … by the *POLICE* of those states. and the EU not only does nothing to stop it, it *encourages* police-state tactics. the law no longer means what it says; instead, it means what the Party says it means. mass arrests will probably not commence until the violence of pious muslimis has brought the EU to its knees, after which martial law will be declared, and the desire for freedom of the stupid stinking masses can finally be quenched by the smart people of the hard left, who know what is best.

It is actually a good thing. For the first part this has solidified the ruling FIDESZ party by at least 5%, which won the elections over migration just 5 months ago.

For the second part, I checked private videos in 8 European languages, all comments are positive towards Viktor Orban and Hungary.

Victor Orban president of Hungary is a great man defending his country and Christianity ! So what’s the next step for Brussels to take ? Invade Hungary and teach them a lesson ? The Soviet Union did that on a regular basis keeping them in power, is that about to happen again ? Were I in power in the United States I would happily give Hungary out protection against such a move from the EU.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> NEWS FLASH! <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< In Solidarity with western EU Christian patriots betrayed by their own governments, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic invaded Western Europe on two broad fronts this evening. The threat posed by 4 new muslim nuclear powers, Iran, France, Germany and Britain, in about 10 years was too great to ignore any longer. German Chancellor Angela Merkel retreated to Berchtesgaden with her muslim refugee sycophants chanting, Allahu Akbar! Sieg Heil! France is expected to surrender out of hand. Britain threatens to flood the English Chunnel to stop them. Italy will join the winning side, as usual. Cheer on the Christian Warsaw Pact! Updates at 7 am.
