Muslims ‘proselytizing’ at U.S. school assemblies

‘Effort to indoctrinate students in the name of diversity’

Two Muslim organizations are suspected of proselytizing California public school students at assemblies.

WND, September 9, 2018:

Story continues below advertisement

The Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund dispatched a records request to the Gilroy Unified School District because of a possible constitutional violation for letting the Muslim groups indoctrinate students.

“Last year, a Muslim high school student complained to school officials she was bullied after Donald Trump got elected and that she was offended by a class assignment that included a Fox News op-ed,” the legal team explained.

“After school board members met with the student’s family, the district engaged in ‘great partnerships’ with the Islamic Networks Group (ING) and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to conduct ‘Islamophobia’ presentations and lecture students at school assemblies about Islam,” the group said.

However, both the California and U.S. Constitutions prohibit the government from aiding religious sects or favoring one religious organization over another. The legal team explained courts repeatedly have ruled students suffer spiritual and psychological harm if they are exposed to religious indoctrination in a compulsive educational environment.

“When school districts allow sectarian groups to advance their agendas under the guise of ‘promoting tolerance,’ they place political correctness over the spiritual and psychological well-being of their schoolchildren,” said Daniel Piedra, FCDF’s executive director. “The First Amendment forbids CAIR’s calculated effort to indoctrinate students in the name of ‘diversity’ and ‘inclusion.’”

FCDF pointed out that Nihad Awad, CAIR’s national executive director, testified that “informing the American public about the Islamic faith is a religious obligation,” and the purpose of its “Islamophobia” public school programs is to “create a religious educational environment.”

In addition, the organization said, “despite portraying itself as a mainstream Muslim organization, evidence confirms that CAIR was founded by members of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.”

“Indeed, the United Arab Emirates officially designates CAIR as a terrorist organization. CAIR is also notorious in the American Muslim community for demonizing and attacking progressive Muslim organizations that seek to work with government officials to combat Islamic radicalism in the U.S. The Anti-Defamation League has denounced CAIR for its anti-Semitic advocacy.”

The organization’s records requests seeks emails between school officials and ING and CAIR since the 2016 election.

The local Gilroy Dispatch reported the student claimed to have been bullied and became a celebrity, sitting down for interviews with the likes of National Geographic.

Shortly after Trump’s election, the Muslim student, a freshman, claimed to have first encountered bullying.”

The report said one message was pinned to her backpack that read, “I like Trump, you’re fired.”

The student’s mother was “most taken aback” by an assignment for her daughter “involving a Fox News opinion piece that linked Islam, her religion as a whole to a horrific stoning in Afghanistan.”

FCDF also is representing five San Diego families in a federal civil rights lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the San Diego Unified School District’s partnership with CAIR. The district implemented an “anti-Islamophobia initiative” that singled out Muslim students for special protections and empowered CAIR to revise school curriculum to ensure it portrays Islam in a more “inclusive” light.

FCDF also is asking Seattle’s schools for details about a similar program.

‘The true faith, Islam’

The influence of Islam in public schools has become a nationwide issue.

In May 2017, in Groesbeck, Texas, a couple moved their sixth-grade daughter to a new school after they discovered her history homework assignment on Islam.

In late March 2017, as WND reported, a middle school in Chatham, New Jersey, was using a cartoon video to teach the Five Pillars of Islam to seventh-grade students, prompting two parents to obtain legal services to fight the school district, which has ignored their concerns.

Ask Sessions. Trump is not the AG, DOJ or CIA..
After the midterms expect Sessions to be FIRED.

I understand your impatience but what do you suggest?

Trump has three options as far as I understand it.

1. Fire Sessions and let the DOJ Succession Statute and Executive Order go through. That means when he fires Sessions, don’t throw up, ROSENSTEIN would move up and replace Sessions pending confirmation of the Senate. The Senate would LOVE that and Trump would not want Rosenstein.. Rosenstein is corrupt and a major part of the problem. Outside of immigration, Sessions is at least doing something there, Rosenstein is already the unofficial AG.

2. The Federal Vacancies Reform Act of 1998 could be used. Trump can pic someone to replace Session for 120 days or longer till Trump nominates someone for the position and then the nominated person would need to be confirmed by the Senate. I don’ think he could get away with appointing someone indefinitely for that position. I’d bet they’d hold him to the 120 days. This could also be problematic since the statute is triggered when the current officeholder “dies, resigns, or is otherwise unable to perform the functions and duties of the office.” I think you can imagine the fiasco with that! Also there is the question of the appointed person being required to be the nominee.

3. The recess appointment option was blocked last year and this year in August.
McConnel is claiming to use the time to confirm judges – who knows! They aren’t always on Trump’s side. They often slow walk stuff or don’t bring up issues for a vote. Last year and this year the Senate was in session so they BLOCKED Trump from appointing another AG under the Vacancies Reform Act. Yes it was unanimous last year and that included TED CRUZ! This August they were in session again! So in many ways they are blocking Trump and we sure don’t want Rosenstein to take Sessions place if Sessions is fired!

So they kind of have Trump cornered. I have confidence that Trump will come up with something because Sessions, Rosenstein and Mueller and others NEED TO GO! It’s been enough of a circus.

So hold your nose and vote R even if it is for Ted Cruz even though he is part of the swamp too! I don’t believe he would vote for Trump impeachment and we don’t want Texas turning blue!

Excellent analysis, thank you. Any ideas or suggestions to replace Sessions? I agree Rosenstein and his entire coup have to go. But I keep wondering what is it that someone has over Sessions that renders him impotent in his position-he is not incompetent; or is he?

A recess appointment is the best option, and President Trump can “persuade” worthless McConnell to go along with it!

Thank you for the detailed answer and the new information. It’s just so disappointing how the swamp doesn’t let Trump to move on. But I vote for Republicans since I’ve emigrated to USA (31 yrs ago) and become the citizen 25 yrs ago. I love Trump and believe it was divine force, that he’s got elected. It’s just frustrating how these SOB’s treat the great man and don’t let him move. Let’s hope for the best.

When ‘rosenstein’ is brought up on charges of SUBVERSION, he cannot “move-on-up”.
This would give President Trump time to replace the HEADS OF THE SNAKE in the DOinJ!

Judge Jeanine or Joe DiGenova as new AG. Needless to say, make the firing of Rosenstein Sessions’ last act; if he refuses, like he said once before, make it the first act of the new AG. Not a difficult decision, IMHO….

I always say that every problem suggests its own solution, all you have to do is work backwards from when a problem developed from a nuisance and a nuisance from a dilemma.

All public bodies under this President at least should have it made clear to them that to allow political indoctrination advocating matters and practices illegal under secular US law cannot be allowed to be preached under religious freedom laws, if schools would shun lectures from the KKK or Nazis why are exceptions made for Islamic doctrine ?

Yes, the media and progressive establishments will have to be confronted, and that’s just the point, to kill off the one to enable your society to prevail, you have to confront the other.

Unfortunately we seem to have double standards. Islam presents itself as a “victim” and wants to “educate” the infidels as well as indoctrinate them that they are really wonderful people.

You are right!

Since when is it okay for Muslims to proselytize, but against the law for anyone else to? It is way PAST TIME to take back our countries and start doing the same proselytizing that they’ve done, to them! See how they feel then! “Ohh NO! The infidels are picking on us! They’re being Islamophobic! CAIR, Muslim Brotherhood, we need your help! Bring your lawyers and sue the hell out of them!” Ouewww…scary! Many of us are no longer going to bow down to the Muslims, under any circumstances! Get the hell out or else!

If you find this report disturbing, then keep reading.

“Muslims died, too, in 9/11!” was the angry response that I got from an American student in one of the Harmony Charter Schools, which were founded by Muhammed Fethullah Gülen from Turkey.

Harmony presents itself as a promoter of science and technology, gets lots of taxpayer money from school districts, and hires Turkish instructors — such as Turks instead of Spanish/English-bilingual teachers to teach high-school Spanish — at crummy salaries, who then become beholden because of their work visas to Harmony for the privilege to remain in the USA.

See also https: // www .wsj .com/articles/turkey-links-texas-charter-schools-to-dissident-1464121659 .

School-district taxpayers are paying a LOT of money to have district students become Islamophiles in Harmony Charter Schools.
