President Trump continues to act to protect the American people and defend the American republic, as every President should do as a first priority. “Refugees” and migrants, especially those making the hijrah, do not have some natural right to come to the United States. There is no reliable way to distinguish between peaceful migrants and jihad terrorists. There are also serious and irreconcilable differences between sharia and the principles of freedom and individual rights upon which the United States is based. Trump is right. Now watch his enemies howl and move all the more energetically to destroy him.

The U.S. is on track to admitting fewer than half the number of refugees allowed under the current annual cap, as the Trump administration’s enhanced screening procedures have slowed the refugee resettlement process.
Story continues below advertisementWith just over a month remaining in fiscal year 2018, the U.S. is on pace to resettle about 20,000 to 21,000 refugees, which would be the smallest number since the current refugee program was established in 1980. President Donald Trump set the FY2018 refugee cap at 45,000 in 2017 — itself the lowest annual ceiling during the same time period.
One reason for the historically low number of refugee admissions is that it now takes the FBI much longer to conduct background checks than it did before the administration put new security vetting in place, NBC reported Friday.
The FBI, one of several government agencies involved in the refugee screening process, often reviews just a “handful” of cases in a single day, according to the NBC report, which cited two former Trump administration officials and humanitarian workers.
Influential officials within the administration, particularly White House policy adviser Stephen Miller, have long called for stronger vetting of refugee applicants. They have also sought to sharply reduce the number of refugees the U.S. accepts on an annual basis, contending that refugee funding would be better spent resettling people in countries close to their home nations and reducing the backlog of pending asylum cases….

We should only be taking real refugees, the ones being persecuted by Muslims-that is Christians, Atheists, ex-Muslims, people trying to escape Islam and who are genuinely at risk.
If only we had the courage to be honest with ourselves and admit that Islam and Muslims are evil after 9/11, then we would’ve had the right policies in place from the beginning.
Sadly almost 2 decades later, we still aren’t much smarter than before. I don’t know what it will take, perhaps more large scale attacks or nuked cities till people finally realize Muslims are the problem. Still Trump is far better than any Democrat and is moving in the right direction.

Well deserved. I am p’d at the numerous people, leftists, who have conveniently deleted 9/11 from their memories. Worse, those who dare blame America or it was America who was the evildoer. Uwe and Hannelore Romeike came to the United States in 2008 seeking political asylum. They fled their German homeland in the face of religious persecution for homeschooling their children.

The devoutly Christian Romeike family fled to the United States in 2008 from southwest Germany after the German government threatened them with legal action for homeschooling their children, which has been banned in Germany since 1918.
German families who choose to home school their children anyway face legal action including potential loss of custody of their children and fines. The family had racked up close to $9,000 in fines before moving to the United States, settling in Tennessee.
The Romeikes were initially granted asylum by a Memphis judge who believed that Germany had unfairly restricted the family’s religious freedom. That decision was challenged and overturned by the Obama administration on appeal, which argued that Germany’s home schooling ban did not constitute religious persecution and could not be used as a basis for asylum in the United States.
The family has had its “DEFERRED ACTION,,” status extended indefinitely, which means as long as the Romeikes, STAY OUT OF TROUBLE, and STAY IN CONTACT with the Department of Homeland Security, they WON’t be deported, Donnelly said.

Right on and accurate statement. Islam intends to overwhelm western free societies and that is the reality. Though I realize that not all those who believe in Islam are violently disposed, the reality is that, in the long run, they intend to overwhelm this nation. Based on what I have seen of their conduct, I sincerely believe that those people of this belief system have lost their ability to migrate to America. We should never allow these believers into this country, as I believe that they are a clear and present danger to everything we hold dear. It is clear that they intend to overwhelm us and force their beliefs on us. That has always been unacceptable. We never would allow any belief system that promotes overthrow to be admitted into this country, then why would we allow these believers, who have a clear history of violence towards non-believers, into this nation. I refer to these believers as the “rats and mosquitoes” of the world because they bring with them vermin and disease. Strong words, but accurate nevertheless.

Thank you, President Trump, if fate had dealt America Hillary, a deluge of non-vetted immigrants would have flooded the nation with no end or accountability. Illegals, criminals and otherwise, would carry on their criminal and corrupt actions without fear of prosecution while protected within the boundaries of sanctuary cities, protected by Democrats. As mentioned by Rick Reynolds below, refuge for the persecuted Christians and other non-Muslims must be a priority; not those, Muslims, hell-bent on the ruination of America. A freehand to Muslims has been given throughout the EU, Britain, Canada and other supposed democracies that are no more democracies than by name.
Indeed, once again, thanks to RR, Americans, the West has buried its head in its favorite orifice ignoring that 9/11 was perpetrated by Muslims. Those Muslims not active in this heinous attack did not mourn but celebrated this monstrous, terrorist attack. Thank you, President Trump and those who protect this nation in spite of the treachery dealt out by the Democrats, progressives and Islam.

Well said-a good reminder to people when the US was attacked on 9/11 and thousands died horribly, that Muslims/Palestinians were dancing and celebrating in the streets. Muslims proved themselves to be our enemies, so why the hell did we allow millions of them to flood western nations/US and why did the Democrats traitorously elect a Muslim to be the president for 2 terms?
It’s unconscionable a nation would do such a stupid thing after being attacked by their enemies and yet here we are. Not only that, many western nations and Israel allow Muslims to have political parties and hold gov’t positions. We have no obligation to prove to Muslims how nice we are and that they therefore should not attack us.
We’re operating under a dangerous fantasy, that Muslims are no different than us and hold Liberal/western values. That at the end of the day they just want to work and raise their families. But the reality is quite the opposite, they pray for our destruction 5 times a day and seek to subvert and undermine us any chance they get. This is on top of all the rape/terrorism/acid attacks that unsuspecting non-Muslims had to suffer at Muslim hands.
People have stopped saying there is only a ‘tiny minority of extremists’ because they’re beginning to realize most if not all of them hold what we consider to be extremist views. Fortunately some countries in Europe have finally started to wake up and are shutting down mosques, banning Muslim immigration and getting tougher on Islam. The only way to do that is to vote for Conservative politicians or any anti-Islamic individuals/parties.
In case people have any illusions, failure to remove Islam and Muslims only guarantees your country will be turned into an Islamic state within a few generations when Muslims outbreed the rest of us. We need more anti-Islamic people in power to educate the government on the true nature of this evil ideology, only then will we able to safeguard our nations and freedom.

I don’t want ANY of them here. All they do is sit back and get everything for free.
Keep them in their country of origin. If we must, throw them a check THERE.
If they are Christians or Jews and can PROVE it, then that is a different story.
They are the ones being persecuted and slaughtered. Muslims aren’t being persecuted of slaughtered.
Worst case for a Muslim is they have to “convert” to a different flavor or Islam that may be more sadistic.
