A 19-year-old woman, who had received severe injuries when a man set her, her infant daughter and her mother on fire four days ago in Nashik city in Maharashtra, has died, police today said. Her daughter and mother had succumbed to injuries earlier Priti Shendge, who had suffered 80 per cent burns, died at Nashik Civil Hospital last night, police said.
On August 5, Jalaluddin Khan (55), a family acquaintance, allegedly poured kerosene on Priti, her mother Sangita Devre (40) and Priti’s daughter Siddhi (9 months) and set them on fire at their house in Kalika Nagar area here.

The 55-year-old Muslim male escaped from police on the train when he was being brought back by police from Uttar Pradesh, an official said.
Jalaluddin Khan, the accused, escaped from the Zelam Express between Ganj Basoda and Vidisha railway stations in Madhya Pradesh Wednesday night, police said.
Khan had been arrested on Tuesday by a Nashik police team from his village in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh and was being brought back by train.
Sometime after Ganj Basoda, Khan told Assistant police inspector Deepak Girme and a police constable who were with him that he wanted to use the washroom. Taking advantage of
darkness, he jumped out when the train slowed down, said Madhukar Kad, in-charge of Panchavati police station in Nashik.The two policemen also jumped out from the moving train but Khan gave them the slip. The policemen suffered minor injuries.

In an horrific incident, a 45 year old Muslim man allegedly set ablaze his live-in-partner, her daughter and nine month old grand-daughter at their residence in the Panchavati-Kalika Nagar locality of the city early on Monday. While the baby, Siddhi and Sangita Devre (38) died of burn injuries; her daughter, Pritee Shendge (20), is battling for life at the Nashik Civil Hospital. All of them sustained over 70% burns. Doctors have said Pritee is in a very critical condition.
Jalaluddin Khan (45), had set afire the woman, Sangita Suresh Devre, her married daughter Preeti and infant granddaughter at her home in here on Monday after an argument, Panchavati police station in-charge Madhukar Kad said.
Following the incident, the man, who is married thrice, fled to Aligarh in UP.
The Nashik police managed to trace him and arrested him from Aligarh on Tuesday evening, Kad said.
Sources said, Jalaluddind was arrested from his third wife’s house, where he took a hide at Aligarh. Jalaluddin’s second wife used to stay in Etwa district and his first wife was died three years back in a street accident. Jalaluddin is a father of five sons and three daughters.
The accused has been booked under Sections 302 (murder) and 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC, he said.
Jalaluddin was having an affair with Sangita for the past one year. They had a heated argument on Sunday, the official said.
He came to her home past midnight on Monday. Devre’s 19-year-old daughter and her granddaughter were also in her home at that time, he said.
Khan poured kerosene on all three, set them afire and fled the scene, the official added. While the child died on the spot, the women died during treatment.
A 55-year-old man, accused of burning two women and an infant alive in Nashik escaped from train when he was being brought back by police from Uttar Pradesh, an official said.

In a fit of rage, he allegedly poured kerosene on her, her daughter Priti Shendge (19), and Priti’s nine-month-old daughter and set them on fire.
While the child died on the spot, the women died during treatment.

Investigating officer Walmik Shardul from Panchavati police station said Jalaluddin was detained by city police in Aligarh on Tuesday evening and that he will soon be brought to Nashik.
According to police, an argument had taken place between Deore and Jalaluddin on Sunday night. While Deore, her daughter and granddaughter were fast asleep, Jalaluddin allegedly set them on fire around 4 am on Monday and fled.
Soon after the incident came to light, residents of Kalika Nagar, where Sangita had shifted only two days back, rushed the trio to the civil hospital.
Pritee’s daughter was declared brought dead after she by doctors at the hospital.Deore resided in the Nilgari Baug area of Panchavati. A few days before the incident, she had moved to Kalika Nagar. Her daughter Pritee, who stayed in Konark Nagar in Adgaon, had come with her child to spend the night with her mother on Sunday.

From what I have read, and videos I have watched, these two groups should not intermarry. Especially if the female is of the Islamic religion. They cannot marry outside their religion. Those are the laws.
Why can’t they just ostracize a family member, why does it have to be murder?
I think a man can marry, but with the understanding that the woman converts.
I am sorry for the suffering of these women. I don’t think civilized people do this stuff unless they are psychopaths.
I certainly hope the killer is apprehended and faces some repercussions.

I’ve been archiving everything about islam/muslim, since 9/11, and every article, has to go in it’s specific folder (most of the time, by country)
