Film About the 1969 Moon Landing leaves out planting the AMERICAN FLAG

72

Hollywood strikes again.

It’s Stalinesque…Joseph Stalin airbrushed photos to erase the presence of those who had fallen out of favor. Leftists are doing the very same thing.

The moon landing was a quintessential American achievement. Ryan Gosling, who plays Neil Armstrong in the biopic of the late Neil Armstrong, said, “I don’t think that Neil viewed himself as an American hero.” “From my interviews with his family and people that knew him, it was quite the opposite. And we wanted the film to reflect Neil.”

Story continues below advertisement

True. Neil Armstrong planted the American flag on the moon. Why would anyone accept what some Hollywood moron who has achieved nothing, invented nothing, and whose only claim to fame is the ability to speak someone else’s words or playact someone else’s deeds?

Ryan Gosling, appropriately named. What a goose.

Upcoming Film About the 1969 Moon Landing Omits Planting of American Flag

Nick Kangadis, MRCTV, August 31, 2018:

We’ve seen it with biblical stories, news stories and stories about journalists. Hollywood doesn’t like actual history, so they create their own version of it. And they don’t seem to care much about accuracy.

“First Man,” the upcoming biopic about the late Neil Armstrong and NASA’s mission to the moon in 1969, is reportedly going to leave Armstrong’s planting of the American flag out of the film.

The film’s star, Ryan Gosling, is defending the decision to leave a pretty important part of history out of the movie.

“I think this was widely regarded in the end as a human achievement [and] that’s how we chose to view it,” Gosling told The Telegraph. “I also think Neil was extremely humble, as were many of these astronauts, and time and time again he deferred the focus from himself to the 400,000 people who made the mission possible.”

Yes, the moon landing was a “human achievement.” But, it was also a huge part of a Cold War race with the Soviet Union, so the planting of the American flag was an extremely important piece of the first moon landing’s history.

The Telegraph noted:

The planting of the flag was controversial in 1969. There was disagreement over whether a US or United Nations flag should be used. Armstrong said later: “In the end it was decided by Congress that this was a United States project. We were not going to make any territorial claim, but we were to let people know that we were here and put up a US flag.

“My job was to get the flag there. I was less concerned about whether that was the right artefact to place. I let other, wiser minds than mine make those kinds of decisions.”

If Armstrong thought that “wiser minds” than his made the decision to plant the American flag after landing on the moon, then it seems that the action was a pretty important detail of the event.

“So I don’t think that Neil viewed himself as an American hero,” Gosling continued. “From my interviews with his family and people that knew him, it was quite the opposite. And we wanted the film to reflect Neil.”

A biopic about Neil Armstrong should reflect the man. But, that man was also acting on behalf of the United States of America. He was an American, and he and fellow astronaut Buzz Aldrin did plant the American flag on the moon.

Also left out of the film is the little known fact that Neil Armstrong took communion before he went outside the lunar lander.

On the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, Buzz Aldrin received communion on the lunar surface shortly after landing. Although he did not keep his actions secret, he only said a non-religious sentence on the intercom and read from the scripture off-air.

Likely, this is a movie made for the international market. I think China is actually one of the largest markets for Hollywood films, and so producers must consider having a film which will be acceptable to Chinese censors.

You do not understand the magnanimity of Hollywood pay masters. They restored the truth of history. Indeed, Arabs invented mathematics, cosmology, high-tech, slavery of all non-Muslims, Sharia laws, rape gangs, as a part of peaceful jihad. They sacrifice their lives in suicide bombings to bring enlightenment to infidels, they discovered America that was taken from them by Jewish apes and infidel pigs, they landed on the Moon to bring honor to Allah, black Arab Obama sacrificed America to bring peaceful jihad and sweet Sharia to the world where infidels are still not slaves. And after all these deeds Americans are still not sure that they must become slaves of Muslims? There is end to mercy of Allah and the day when he is angry in earnest and orders heads of many evil infidel Americans to be cut off is approaching in November 2018.

Allah Akbar and Inshalah or whatever it is. Americans and Jewish monkeys, you still have time to arrive at the offices of Democratic Party for Sharia and pledge your devotion to Allah or/and becoming voluntarily your wish to be slaves of Chosen Muslims and especially Chosen Arabs who brought the peaceful jihad by beheading and gang rapes to desperate people of the world.

Remember Apollo 8 , GASP, Genesis reading ?
On December 24, 1968, in what was the most watched television broadcast at the time, the crew of Apollo 8 read in turn from the Book of Genesis as they orbited the Moon. Bill Anders, Jim Lovell, and Frank Borman recited Genesis chapter 1, verses 1 through 10, using the King James Version text

William Anders

We are now approaching lunar sunrise, and for all the people back on Earth, the crew of Apollo 8 has a message that we would like to send to you.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.[4]

James Lovell
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.[4]

Frank Borman
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
And from the crew of Apollo 8, we close with good night, good luck, a Merry Christmas – and God bless all of you, all of you on the good Earth.

Lawsuit
Madalyn Murray O’Hair, founder of American Atheists, responded by suing the United States government, alleging violations of the First Amendment. The Supreme Court dismissed the suit due to lack of jurisdiction.

Later, on the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, Buzz Aldrin received communion on the lunar surface shortly after landing. Although he did not keep his actions secret, he only said a non-religious sentence on the intercom and read from the scripture off-air.

It was a half-century before obama deemed “muslim outreach” to be the purpose of NASA, but just like the muslims who were among our Founding Fathers and the muslims who fought the war to end slavery and the muslims who reunited the nation thereafter and the muslims who harnessed electricity, invented the automobile and made “The American Dream” the proof of American Exceptionalism for the world to see, muslims were part of the moon landing.
In fact, we couldn’t have done it without them — staying away.
It’s said that with our current level of engineering talent to draw from throughout the country that the United States could not build a Saturn 5 rocket today. And now that we’ve had a decade of “muslim outreach” to infuse sinister motives and poison relationships among the team, it’s guaranteed that a project like that would be a lemon.
That would be the kind of disaster the naive, arrogant, confused, know-nothing actor Ryan Gosling calls a human achievement. He’s not an American, so why would he care to praise our country, like we want to do.
He just wants to act exactly like his friend Neil.
How much more absurd can this get?

That — and he propagandized explicitly, however without specific examples, that muslims have always been a critically important and integral part of this country’s history and all its success and inspired global leadership, which is to say the least a wild exaggeration.
More accurately it’s just one more of our last muslim president’s brazen, craven, sociopathic, bald face lies.
If only we could all see at once through the veil of the evil incarnate mainstream media to the otherwise plain and obvious truth that the greatest country in every way — our country — is built upon a solid foundation of Judeo-Christian peace and freedom, while the countries based on mohametism are the sh*t holes of the world.

The moon landing is one of the world’s great achievements. The very first humans looked up at this celestial body in awe. Humans began to develop an understanding of the significance of the lesser light and some cults even worshipped a moon god. No people who have lived have not marvelled at this light of the night.

One day, a man walked upon the moon and he was an American. He planted the flag of the nation who invested great resources to achieve this wondrous task. People the world over were astounded and Americans were justifiably proud of what their nation was able to do. American lives were lost in the exploration of space.

It is beyond disgusting to wipe out this magnificent America achievement from the reality. I will never watch this and hope that I protest outside cinemas when it is launched. I am angry.

We have recently been advised to read history books from 20 years ago and 10 years ago and now re WW1 and WW2. They are re-writing history. Am glad we kept a 1970’s edition of Encyclopedia Britannica.

I am surprised by you saying this.I spoke with Neil in 1980 and he told me that on the dark side of the moon, there were muslims galore. There was a queue 240 miles long of men waiting for the only ‘virgin’ left. Each were permitted 3 minutes with the withering hag and it took on average three years to get to her. Neil said he watched until he sicked and saw the men put it in her and it was often the case that the penis did not touch the sides. It is quite sad. I don’t think you will enjoy it mate.

The civilized world of such still exists must help them to meet Allah and 23 virgins ASAP. I know that Australia contributed significantly to the operation, so that statement is not accurate if what you are implying is that it was America alone who achieved this . Did you know the satellite pictures were from. Parkes New South Wales Australia via Australian technology. The American’s had help. Yes, it maybe was America’s greatest achievement, (although I would argue that your constitution was even greater),but it was a collective effort, though I do accept that it was an American achievement in the main. That is the reason the stars and stripes was planted. See the film called ‘The Dish’. Aussies are very proud of their support role in this.

Just as in the fictionalized “Hacksaw Ridge”, they should advertise the movie as “Loosely based on a true story.” In “Hacksaw Ridge”, it showed conscientious objector Army medic Desmond Doss treating enemy Japanese wounded in addition to US troops in the battle of Okinawa.

Had that happened, he would have been court martialed instead of awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.

The whole endeavor was a massive A M E R I C A N achievement comprised of:

Continuation of a US effort deriving from US Leadership / political will / strategic necessity of a duly elected US President

Billions of US TAX payer Dollars

The organisational / scientific / industrial know how derived from US citizenry which is a product of US society / educational system / NASA & other US agencies / US corporations

To deny all that and pin this achievement solely to Armstrong as a “representative of Humanity”, is nothing less then shameless / self loathing, anti American / “progressive” revisionism, in its most pathetic / despicable form

B O Y C O T T the Hell out of this ungrateful Trash!!! (the movie as a whole might be good “production value” wise, but the blatant Anti American revisionism, makes it Trash!)

p.s. clueless “progressives” seem to be totally disconnected from a majority of Americans that are proud of their country and of being Americans, this glaring disconnect (apparent in this BS from Gosling) might soon come to bite them HARD, when the mid term election results will be rolling out… GO VOTE, Republican ONLY!

JFK did not live long enough to see this dream come true, but he managed to motivate our nation to complete this adventure. We were not the first, but the third country to reach out, beyond our planet. The first was the Germans but they never followed up in space. The first satellite was Sputnik and it sent a radio signal. But the US put forth a gargantuan effort and gave Americans pride in our accomplishment. Nobody else has sent a man to the moon. Perhaps it won’t be colonized, but we got there. Planting the flag there, or on Mt. Everest shows who got there first.
I suppose some will say it is our egos that demand recognition, but in reality, it was a milestone that we should never forget. It should never be downplayed.
When a person goes into space now, they are in familiar territory. It is still a dangerous venture. The Astronauts take their lives in their hands knowing they are pioneers, but even as their names may be forgotten, their deeds will live on. Our flag is there. It was the crowning point of the mission.
Hollywood often twists things. Right now, patriotism is frowned upon there. Actors and entertainers enjoy flaunting their version of reality, and often revise history. But we are not going to forget this epic snub. This can’t be a true “feel good” movie without telling the entire truth. Looks like I will miss this film.
