Girls’ Schools Burnt Down Overnight In Pakistan
Girls’ schools are often attacked in the northern areas of Pakistan.
World | Press Trust of India | Updated: August 03, 2018:Karachi: Twelve girls’ schools have been burnt down by unidentified persons in coordinated attacks in Pakistan’s restive Gilgit-Baltistan, triggering protest by local residents who sought safety for educational institutions which are often attacked by the militants, a media report said on Friday.
Story continues below advertisementThe schools in Chilas town, about 130-kilometre from Gilgit, were targeted late last night by unidentified men who also damaged school property across Diamer district, police said.
“Explosions were also set off in two schools,” Geo News reported, quoting police officials.
Following the attacks, local residents staged a protest at Siddique Akbar Chowk demanding the arrest of culprits and seeking safety for educational institutes which are often targeted by the militants, it said.
Police have started a search operation in the area to arrest the perpetrators. According to the district administration, the schools were under-construction.
Girls’ schools are often attacked in the northern areas of Pakistan.
In December 2011, at least two girls’ schools were partially damaged in low-intensity explosions in Chilas.
Earlier that year, unidentified men had also blown up two girls’ schools.

In 2004, girls’ schools in Chilas came under a string of attacks. Nine schools of which eight were girls’ schools were attacked and destroyed in five days in the area in February.
Terrorists have also blown up educational institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
According to a report, about 1,500 schools have been destroyed in the tribal belt during the last 10 years.
Nobel Prize winner and education activist Malala Yousafzai was also shot by the Taliban in 2012 for advocating girls’ education in Swat.
In 2017, the Human Rights Watch (HRW) in its report stated that attacks by the Taliban and other militant groups disrupted the education of hundreds of thousands of children, particularly girls, in Pakistan.

Women Marchers scream along to “khaibar khaibar ya yahud jaish muhammad sa yahud” at every womens march, they protest for women to wear hijabs, and remain silent as Iranian women are arrested for removing hijabs. You can go down the list of Leftists and find the same thing. Peta says nothing as muslims light donkeys on fire draped in Israeli flags, or send hawks into Israel with molotov cocktails attached to them, yet PETA remains silent.

Pakistan is a failed society, and will remain so if their people still try to cling to Islam. They have long treated even their own Muslim minorities like trash, look at the Bengalis and now the Balochs, never mind what is happening to the Hindus and Christians over there.

This latest outrage against decency, female emancipation and progress in that blighted hell hole of a country is particularly egregious reading for the tax payers of the UK because the chances are we paid for those schools to be built, equipped and staffed as far as I can tell.
Ten years ago, it was revealed by a political party in Britain that at that time we were funding some 650 Pakistani schools and understanding the existing British regimes order of priorities as I do, I expect we’ll have to build and pay for these bonfires to be rebuilt – again.
It’s got to the point now with me that every time I lay eyes on one of those skinny little syphilitic Islamic rats in his night shirt and white cotton cap walking the isles of a supermarket or the pavements in my town I want to put my hands around his throat and squeeze until the “problem goes away”.
If there are so called “people” of that faith more dislikeable and untrustworthy than muslim Pakistanis or those other fearless slayers of toddlers the Taliban walking Gods earth and breathing his air I don’t know of any.
