PARIS ATTACK: Shouting “ALLAHU AKBAR,” Muslim goes on stabbing spree, attacks police on suburb street

The Islamic State (ISIS) terror group claimed responsibility for the attack, saying one of its “fighters” had carried out the assault.

“He was known (to police) for advocating terrorism but it seems he was a disturbed person rather than someone who could respond to calls for action from terrorist organizations like ISIS,” he said, using the Arabic acronym for Islamic State.

The real psychiatric problem is the West’s denial of jihad.

‘Allahu Akbar’: Two Killed, Attacker Shot by Police After Paris Mass Stabbing

Anti-riot police officers patrol the Champs-Elysees avenue on June 19, 2017 on the Champs-Elysees avenue in Paris, after a car crashed into a police van before bursting into flames, with the driver being armed, probe sources said. A source close to the investigation said the driver was ‘seriously injured’.

By Breitbart, August 22, 2018:

Two people were killed in the Paris suburb of Trappes Thursday morning in a knife attack which was ended by French police fatally shooting the assailant, according to media reports.

A 35-year-old man who shouted Allahu Akhbar (Allah is the Greatest) before stabbing several people was shot dead by police Thursday morning. Identified in French media as ‘Kamel S.’, the killer was convicted in 2016 for “the glorification of terrorism, reports France’s BFMTV.

He had previously been an employee of the Parisian mass transit system, and drove taxis.

The two victims killed by Kamel are further reported to be members of his own family, leading French police to suspect — despite his radical background — that the incident may have been based on a family feud.

Besides the sister and the mother of the dead attacker who were both killed, there were several people seriously injured, including one who was airlifted to hospital in critical condition. After being shot by police, the assailant took cover in a building after being shot and died of his wounds inside.

The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack shortly after it hit the headlines, however, police have not yet decided whether to treat the incident as terrorist-related or not.
