WaPo Buries Bush/Obama Connection to Pin State Department Policy on Trump Administration

9

The Washington Post published a story about how the federal government has opted out of renewing passports of those living near the border — while conveniently leaving out until the ninth paragraph of the piece that this very same policy had taken place under both the Bush and Obama administrations.

The Washington Post, once again, has shown itself as the enemy of the people on border issues.

Truly, the media does target this president and this White House.

President Donald Trump has no friend in the press.

From the Daily Caller:

The Washington Post published an article about the U.S. government choosing not to renew the passports of people born near the border, as they are skeptical that those people were actually born in the country. It’s not until the ninth paragraph that the article begins to address that the policy began under the Bush administration and continued under Obama.

The article was titled, “U.S. is denying passports to Americans along the border, throwing their citizenship into question” and was written by Kevin Sieff.

The article addressed the problems faced by “a growing number of people whose official birth records show they were born in the United States but who are now being denied passports.”

The fourth paragraph referenced President Trump, saying, “The Trump administration is accusing hundreds, and possibly thousands, of Hispanics along the border of using fraudulent birth certificates since they were babies, and it is undertaking a widespread crackdown.”

But five paragraphs later, the article clarifies, “The State Department during the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations denied passports to people who were delivered by midwives in Texas’s Rio Grande Valley.”

So in spite of the fact that this informal policy began under previous administrations, the article first connects it to President Donald Trump.

It has become quite obvious to even the most casual observers that the accusations leveled by CNN, WaPo, NYT, and leftist politicians are in fact total inversions of reality. After all, who does “fake news” better then they do? Is this a form of psychopathy whereby you accuse your opponents of policies and crimes that you yourself are actually responsible for? Deceptive diversion is not practiced by sane and caring people, but a Machiavellian game in which the left employs against their adversaries…and the sheeple can always be counted on to bleat in unison against those who believe in diversity of thought.

The only reasons I buy a newspaper anymore is for the crossword puzzle and the obituaries, and I’m beginning to question why they see fit to drag the dead into it.
