Antifa and other thug-like groups with marxist intents on their minds gathered together in Washington, D.C., this past weekend to call for a complete overthrow of the U.S. government.
Oh, and the removal of the president, by whatever means necessary.

Isn’t it grand how the left defines free speech? Conservatives on Facebook are threatening and hate-filled and must be removed — but groups that gather and call for total anarchy and violent overthrow of the government are simply exercising their First Amendment rights?

Antifa and other left-wing groups gathered at Freedom Plaza in downtown Washington, DC, on Sunday carrying signs that reveal one message loud and clear: Remove racist President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence from office and overthrow the United States government.
People passed out “Trump Pence Must Go” stickers and carried signs and banners displaying anti-Trump slogans, including, “Drive Out Trump Pence Fascist Regime.”
One woman carried a sign bearing the image of former President Barack Obama with words from his farewell address: “Show up. Dive in. Stay at it.”
Speakers addressed the crowd of a couple of hundred people on topics ranging from police brutality to affordable housing. One woman told the crowd that the only job some people can get is selling drugs.
The group planned to walk from Freedom Plaza to Lafayette Park where the National Park Service has given them a permit to counter-protest the Unite the Right 2 protest permitted to also take place in the park on Sunday.
The park service, however, does not have jurisdiction on D.C. streets, which is controlled by the Metropolitan Police Department.

I fear Jeff Sessions is semi-comatose but is in line for a brain retread. The man is so inept, utterly gormless. Why he remains the AG is just another rhetorical question. I do wonder why Trump keeps Sessions on the payroll; he would be more suitable as a custodian, but at a stretch.

Thanks to the swamp his hands are tied for the moment.
Remember last year when the swamp feared Trump would fire Sessions when they were at recess? It was a unanimous vote to BLOCK TRUMP and STOP him from doing this. Even lovely ted Cruz voted FOR it. Had this not happened, Trump could have fired Sessions and appointed someone to take his place till the next AG could be confirmed.

But the current deal comes after Trump repeatedly lashed out at Attorney General Jeff Sessions, sparking speculation that he would fire the former senator and try to name his successor while Congress was out of town.
Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) warned last month that Democrats had “tools in our toolbox” to BLOCK a recess appointment.
“We’re ready to use every single one of them, any time, day or night. It’s so vital to the future of the republic,” he said.
A spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said late last month that he didn’t have any announcements on pro-forma sessions, but he noted that “if the Senate doesn’t adjourn, typically pro forma sessions happen every three days.”
The spokesman added on Friday that the Senate was holding the brief sessions because they didn’t get a deal on adjourning, not specifically to block the president from making recess appointments. (LOL that is the ONLY reason why they did that.)
“So to meet our constitutional requirement of meeting every few days, we’re doing pro formas. We didn’t do it to block Trump,” the aide said. ( No it was to STOP Trump from firing Sessions and appointing a replacement.)
Under Article One of the Constitution “neither House, during the session of Congress, shall, without the consent of the other, adjourn for more than three days.” The House is also currently holding pro-forma sessions.
Sen. Christopher Coons (D-Del.) added earlier Thursday that he expected the Senate would set up the pro-forma sessions, which require a GOP senator to briefly preside over the upper chamber.
“My understanding is that we will only recess for three days at a time. …When we were in the majority I had to come down from Delaware and preside,” he said.
Trump also needs to find a new secretary of Homeland Security after he named John Kelly his new chief of staff.
The GOP-controlled Senate also held pro-forma sessions over the week-long Fourth of July recess.
And Democrats held pro-forma sessions every three days in 2012 when Obama tried to appoint National Labor Relations Board members. The Supreme Court ruled in 2014 that he overstepped his constitutional authority.
Asked if he was now glad the NLRB case had been litigated, Coons added on Thursday to laughter: “I think it’s important that there be restraints on the recess appointments.”

“Deer in the headlights Jeff Sessions” is too weak to make any waves. Of course he is very strong on keeping pot a federally mandated crime (and I don’t even smoke that stuff)…but for crying out loud AG needs to grow a backbone or a pair (at least one of which would be great!).

Many veterans served as snipers and sharpshooters in the military. They are ready and willing to defend the President and the Constitution. There may be a time in the near future where members of Antifa will have no idea what hit them and from where.

If you think this is all cute fun and a suitable environment for a debate on free speech, I know first-hand how seriously wrong you are. I was stationed at NAS Memphis when April 4, 1969 rolled around, the one year anniversary of the MLK assassination.
The degree of social disorder and the extreme to which human craziness can stretch was frightening, to say the very least. That place went wild, the base was sealed off, and they suspended all gasoline and alcohol sales for a 75 mile radius around Memphis.
Now you see why I value my Second Amendment rights.
