More Than 700,000 Foreign Nationals Overstayed Visas in 2017, DHS Says

In 2017, more than 700,000 foreign nationals who were supposed to be in the country for a temporary time only, refused to leave and overstayed their visas, the Department of Homeland Security reported.

That means fully 40 percent of those entering the United States on a visa overstayed.

And this country doesn’t have a border control problem, according to those in the Democratic Party?

More on this from Fox News:

More than 700,000 foreign nationals who were supposed to leave the U.S. in recent months overstayed their visas, the Department of Homeland Security said in a report released Tuesday.

The federal department determined that 701,900 people who entered the country through an air or sea Port of Entry overstayed their visas between October 2016 and September 2017.

Overall, an estimated 40 percent of the roughly 11 million people in the country illegally stayed past their visas.

The total number of overstays is much larger but has not been quantified because it doesn’t include how many people arrive by land.

The 2016 overstay report — the first one published by Homeland Security in at least two decades — stated 739,478 people who entered the U.S. via plane or ship overstayed their visas between October 2015 and September 2016.

Overstays accounted for 1.3 percent of the 52.7 million visitors who arrived by plane or ship during the latest period, an improvement from the overstay rate of 1.5 percent a year earlier.

Canada again occupied the top slot for overstays, followed by Mexico, Venezuela, the United Kingdom and Colombia. Nigeria, China, France, Spain and Germany rounded out the top 10.

The overstay rate was much higher among students and foreign exchange visitors, with 4.2 percent staying after their visas expired, a decline from 5.5 percent the previous year.

These visa holders should have a microchip requirement, If they want to come here, they should be chipped so they can be located by US Immigration authorities.

Then, for US visitors to other nations, the same would hold true.

US Muslims should be chipped when traveling abroad, then again that applies to all Muslims. that way we can make sure you go to Jihadi friendly countries only and stop your world conquest of Jihad and Sharia for all.

Actually, there should be NO moslems allowed in the United States of America, chip or no chip. Moreover, why waste money on technology? It shouldn’t prove too difficult to simply round them up and hang them by their necks, until dead. You’d have to round them up to place a chip in them, anyway.

chipping can be done when boarding boats, planes, or when crossing borders out of USA. It will make it easier to round them up when they try to return to USA for more Jihad.

There are between 3.3 and 3.6 million moslems, in the US. As long as there is one, no need to worry about those that return. A moslem is a moslem is a moslem. They are ALL the same, the vilest of ALL creatures.

That they are, but this country doesn’t have the stomach to watch mosques and round them up.

The very first thing that one does is to convert the musks to synagogues. Then, round up the howlers. Piece of cake.

I would never attend this shoal. It’ll stink and will be full of the negative energy. Unfortunately muzzies do the opposite easy.

But … I can visualize the Torah being carried through the sanctuary, as the congregants sing “Torah. Torah ….” Then making the old imam(s) stand there as “Baruch Atah Adonai, Eloheinu Melech Ha’Olam, Sh’hecheyanu, V’Kiyemanu, V’Higianu” rings throughout.
That should drive out a great deal of the negative energy.

No that would not do. Better to just douse the place in pork fat and or bacon and let them run like vampires from crosses.

I was thinking more along the lines of “RAIDING” the musks, as opposed to “watching”.

Probably better to demolish them with everyone inside, start the process on replacing those eye sores littering our towns and cities.

One way this trend could be discouraged is for people coming from countries where travelers have been an established problem would be to at least consider a large bond to be surrendered by them at entry, returnable to them upon their departure.

Or just not let them in, in the first place.

Agreed. Such is covered under 8 US Code, Section 1182, entitled “Inadmissible Aliens”.

Overstaying a visa may seem like a small matter until you stop and remember that several of the criminal gang responsible for 9/11 did so as well. And President Trump’s travel ban was “controversial”?

This is precisely why there should be a moratorium on ALL immigration and each and every employee in any agency that approves entry into the US needs to be let go and new crews hired.

I think of it like hiring pilots for the airlines. Even if you flew for Airline A for 10 years, if you are later hired by Airline B you must be completely retrained by Airline B as a means of assuring that you are doing your job the way Airline B wants it done. I believe that this is frequently done when new ownership comes to companies.

Listening to the media I often hear America being run down and her faults enumerated. There is only one thing wrong with America. WE ARE DARN TOO GOOD! We have let the scum of this world take advantage of us. This has to stop.

If we’re going to have a “Space Force”….why can’t we also have a Deportation Force…..
…start cleaning these people out of our country and show the world we will not tolerate law breakers in our country….9 out of ten of them are violent, they all are crashing our welfare systems……
….low income housing has gone to illegals and those sworn to kill us demanded by their Muslim Death Cult…
….our own poor can’t find housing…and the greedy landlords across the country keep jacking up rents….
…I no longer feel safe in my own country.
