If Bernie Sanders is ever elected President, he will make the people of Israel and its supporters miss President Obama. Senator Bernie Sanders is a rabid Israel hater and anti-Semite, and has used his ascension in American politics to damage and slander Israel. In 2016, Sanders appointed three Israel haters (Cornell West, James Zogby, and Rep. Keith Ellison) to the Democratic Party Platform Committee. Zogby, who is head of the Arab American Institute, has lobbied the Democrat Party to develop a more hostile tone towards Israel for years. Zogby has credited Sanders for helping advance his anti-Israel agenda within the Democrat Party.
Since Sanders lost his presidential bid in 2016, he has been on a warpath against Israel to strengthen his support from his radical supporters such as Linda Sarsour. Sanders has shown what a terrible human being he is with his ferocious assaults against Israel. In May, when Israel was defending itself from Hamas terrorists, he blood libeled Israel on Twitter, stating that “The killing of Palestinian demonstrators by Israeli forces in Gaza is tragic. It is the right of all people to protest for a better future without a violent response.” He then went on the Jake Tapper show and lied about the Hamas protest being a “nonviolent protest.” In addition, Sanders went on to produce a grotesque and dishonest video which falsely blamed Israel for the current state of Gaza, while placing no blame on Hamas.
With the emergence of Bernie Sanders, the so called “progressive wing” has become emboldened. They are also starting to become nominees for the Democrat Party. People such as the pro-BDS Scot Wallace of Pennsylvania and Israel haters such as Virginia’s Leslie Cockburn and Minnesota’s Ilhan Omar will all be representing the Democrat Party in the upcoming midterms. In June, the socialist and Sanders protégé Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was nominated to represent the Democrat Party in New York’s 14th congressional district. If she wins in November (which is likely), she will be a vigorous advocate for the “Palestinians” in Congress.

Despite Israel embracing many “progressive values” such as universal health care, equal rights for women, equal rights for LGBT individuals, equal rights for minorities, incredibly responsible environmental laws, and affordable post-secondary education, Sanders will continue to slander Israel because of the political benefits it will bring him. Senator Sanders (who is a bigot, liar, and hypocrite) does not care about the benefits of the U.S-Israel special relationship. What’s important to Sanders is to appease his anti-Semitic voters. If Israel is abandoned by the U.S. because an imbecile like Sanders is elected President, countries such as China, Russia, and India will be waiting.

For decades it was seen as too politically risky, but this midterm cycle a growing number of Democratic candidates have begun openly criticizing some of Israel’s policies.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the first-time candidate who upset 10-term incumbent Rep. Joseph Crowley in last month’s Democratic primary, incorporated criticism of Israel’s actions into her campaign, condemning what she called a recent “massacre” in Gaza and calling on more Democrats to focus on the struggle of Palestinians.
“There is no justification. Palestinian people deserve basic human dignity, as anyone else. Democrats can’t be silent about this anymore,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted in May.
In 2018 alone, more than 100 Palestinians have been killed during clashes with Israel’s security forces. In May, at least 58 protesters were killed demonstrating against the U.S. opening a new embassy in Jerusalem.
Ocasio-Cortez’s tweet drew the type of condemnation and backlash that politicians could expect whenever saying anything negative about Israel. The Republican Jewish Coalition, for instance, immediately took a shot at Ocasio-Cortez, calling her victory “a harbinger of the decline of Democrats’ support for Israel.”
Still, Ocasio-Cortez won the primary, causing shockwaves throughout the Democratic Party. She is one of several progressives who has increasingly called out Israel’s actions — and the political gamble seems to be paying off.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders condemned Israel, arguably clearing a path for Democratic candidates to break with party tradition and criticize the U.S. ally.
During a debate in New York, Sanders, who is independent, called Israel’s intervention in Gaza “disproportionate” and called on the U.S. to “treat Palestinian people with respect and dignity.”
This midterm cycle, Sanders’ legacy political organization, Our Revolution, backed a Democratic candidate in South Carolina’s 7th Congressional District, Mal Hyman, who had spent time working on human rights in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza….

It’s really sad to see what the ‘Democratic’ Party has turned into, a cesspool of America-hating, Jew-hating, illegal-migrant and Islam-loving bunch of far-Left radicals and Marxists.
The true Liberals need to either take back their party or to form a new one because in no way shape or form is there anything Liberal about the current Dem party, esp since a radical Muslim like Keith Ellison nearly became DNC chairman.
I think Trump would destroy Bernie in the next election but just giving someone as radical as Bernie, a chance to become the most powerful person in the world (in charge of its nuclear arsenal) should give pause to all sane Americans.

Moynihan, if you’ll recall, as a retiring senator, gave Hillary’s (carpetbagger) senatorial candidacy in New York his blessing, which gave her a much-needed boost.
Moynihan, as you say, was a smart and rational man.

Do vaguely remember when Frank Lausche (D-Ohio) served Ohio as a five-term Governor. Later he served in the U.S. Senate from 1957 to 1969. He was well-known for his fiscal conservative views.
Also, Tony Hall (D-Ohio) served several terms as U.S. Representative. He was a moderate and pro-life, and was one of the few Democrats I voted for until he left to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations for four years.

Look at the Presidents that have caused Israel the most bloodshed and death, Carter, Clinton and Obama all have blood on their hands and heads. How anyone can believe the Democratic Party was ever on Israel side is beyond me.

I think Hillary might run again or maybe she needs money and teasing donors to cough up more money for her phony foundation or maybe to appease those that already BOUGHT influence. I’d like to see her run again! I am not very hopeful that she will be prosecuted… She truly nauseates me. She is sooo corrupt and has been for decades. Life is unfair…. Had any of us done what she’s done, we’d be in prison.

I lost many family and friends to the liberal disease/ideology, I can not stand to be in the same room as anyone who can blindly support Bernie Sanders and Linda Sarsour, or the even more vile Hilary Clinton who pretends to be a friend to Israel. I agree; however, Bernie’s radical Marxist worldview has spurred the Democrats to move closer to his Marxist edict. Hopefully, whether it is Bernie, Hillary, or anyone for that matter, they will, I believe, be of the extreme left. I hope, one cannot be sure, but I trust the majority of Americans are not Collectivists, the old scam “the World is a Village” uttered by Hillary some time ago. The Dems under-estimated the electorate in 2016; they will do the same in 2020.

“Trump would destroy Bernie in the next election” That’s assuming a level playing field, the Ikhwan party will insure it’s not (e.g. by the use of mass voter fraud). Trump better be doing something to insure the integrity of the US election process in the 2020 election or he could be done before the election even starts.

Back when I had my FFL and sold guns, whenever I did any work for folks, I would let them know I also sold guns–I lost a lot of business because so many of my clients were dems & they let me know that they didn’t like guns

The interesting fact to note is that prior to the formation of Israel, and the development that Israel has done to the land, the area was a barren desert nothing. Now, it is a thriving nation with everything the muzrats want; running water, sewer, electricity, roads, housing, and stability. They just want it for free, as if it will sustain without the Israelis to maintain it.
