Rod Rosenstein Has Major Conflicts of Interest in Trump Collusion Case – Signature on FISA App Only The Latest

42

US Attorney General Jeff Sessions, famously and unwisely, recused himself from the Trump/Russia Collusion case in March 2017 because he had met twice during the 2016 presidential campaign with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak. There are, however, far more compelling reasons why Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein should have recused himself.

Last weekend, in response to a Judicial Watch FOIA request, the DOJ released documents relating to the FBI’s FISA court applications for a warrant (and subsequent renewals) to surveil low-level Trump campaign advisor Carter Page. Although heavily redacted, these documents revealed that Rosenstein had signed off on the last one. This development is serious, but it is only the latest of his many conflicts of interests. And up until now, there’s been scant attention paid to them.

Wednesday night’s news that House Republicans have filed articles of impeachment against him, has thrust Rosenstein and his highly partisan history back into the spotlight.

Story continues below advertisement

His wife, Lisa Barsoomian, is a Washington Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) attorney. She is a protégée of R. Craig Lawrence, whose law firm defends clients, all Democrats, against FOIA requests. Dick Morris, journalist and former advisor to Bill Clinton, reported that Lawrence, Barsoomian or both have represented Hillary Clinton 17 times, Bill Clinton 40 times, Barack Obama 45 times, Robert Mueller three times and on five occasions, the FBI.

In May 2017, Rosenstein wrote the memo outlining the case for firing FBI Director James Comey. Shortly after Trump fired Comey, Rosenstein appointed his mentor and friend, Robert Mueller, to head the investigation of Trump’s Russia collusion.

Rush Limbaugh reminds us that Rod Rosenstein was on the prosecution team that fully exonerated Hillary Clinton in the Whitewater scandal (and both Clintons in the Travelgate and Filegate scandals). Shortly after Rod Rosenstein cleared Hillary, his wife represented Bill Clinton in a 1998-99 civil case in federal court.

Limbaugh also points out that Rosenstein gave Mueller “free rein” in his investigation of Trump, which is not allowed under DOJ regulations.

DOJ regulations require that a crime be named and that is what the special counsel shall pursue and, if during said investigation, the special counsel encounters something else that is not within the purview of the crime being investigated, he’s got to go back to the person who appointed him and seek permission to add this newly discovered crime to the investigation. None of that has happened.

Rosenstein signed off on the raid of President Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen’s office, home and hotel room in April. This was a calculated move intended to provoke Trump into firing Mueller.

The Deputy AG has major conflicts of interest and should have recused himself from the beginning. He refers to requests from Congress, who has legal oversight over the DOJ, as “extortion.” He is the keeper of the secrets who knows where all the bodies are buried.

Mueller is not investigating possible Trump-Russia collusion, because he knows it doesn’t exist. Instead, he is searching for evidence of any possible criminal act that can be used to impeach Trump. Rosenstein knows this because he is in on it.

On the 2008 campaign trail, Obama told supporters, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

And indeed, he was true to his word. The Obama years changed America. As he filled every government institution with liberal appointees, they became weaponized. Now these institutions have Trump in their crosshairs.

The DOJ, the FBI, the State Department and the mainstream media all have their claws out for President Trump. All of these institutions are riddled with Obama and Clinton supporters.

Trump should have been advised early on that a major sweep of these staffers was necessary.

Has America reached a place where elections and the rule of law no longer have meaning? “If the law is to apply to one party and not the other, then there is no law.” And if there is no law, then America is moving toward tyranny.

President Trump is held to account over meaningless affairs that took place twelve years ago, while Hillary Clinton is given a pass for deleting, then trying to destroy, 32,000 subpoenaed emails from the private server she used during her tenure as Secretary of State.

If the crimes of Hillary Clinton, the DOJ, the FBI and their enablers/cheerleaders, the mainstream media, are not proven by the midterm elections, the opportunity may be lost. And America, as we’ve known her, will be lost. The clock is ticking.

He is part of clinton mafia so going after Trump with fake cases .

Clinton mafia still active after Trump takeover as they kill another witness to email investigation http://tinyurl.com/y8p9cv5l

They know their hold overs in FBI / DOJ /NSC will help them out !

Unless they are totally purged including Left/Liberal judges to keep out their bias …its uphill task to prosecute them.

Sessions has not only reused himself from anything Hillary related, he has recused himself from enforcing the RULE OF LAW with this Russian farce investigation. Rosenstein is so CONFLICTED and SMUG about it, I’d like to wring his neck. Sessions is blind to common sense!

I have seen NO (special emphasis added) evidence that Mu-Mu has any experience in China or with the Chinese. What good has mu-mu done? Except publicly speak out against the president’s announcement on transsexuals in the military. When the president spoke of the financial burden of paying for transition, surgery, and recovery … and that during much of the procedure(s), the transsexuals were not “battle ready” … mu-mu, without consulting the president … publicly derided that announcement … and did a little skip dance reversal. That was not the only of the president’s policies that mu-mu publicly derided. The list goes on and on.
Name one good thing that mu-mu brings to the table. He makes Sessions look like the best Attorney General in the history of this nation.

Sessions, Paul Ryan, Nancy Pelosi defend Rosenstein against impeachment threat

Jul 26, 2018 · Attorney General Jeff Sessions, House leadership defend Rod Rosenstein against impeachment threat. Perhaps the most important show of support, however, came from House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who rejected the impeachment effort that Pelosi characterized as a thinly-veiled move to derail Russia …

I was most saddened to see that Paul Ryan is part of the anti-Trump movement. I was a huge supporter of Paul Ryan for many years. Big mistake on my part. I thought he had integrity.

All anti-Trumpers look like cartoon characters. Just look at Sessions ears, Ryan’s nose and bubbly eyes, Rosenstein’s little rat-face… I would just looked at either one and rejected just because they look weird.

My take is that unlike Reagan who already had working political connections he didn’t have a tight team around him and others in mind for slots. Reagan was a Governor. When he rolled into Washington he already had in mind WHO would be in his administration that was tried and tested. Trump is a true outsider and takes his chances on people.

Wasn’t Rosenstein just an employee of the DOJ and as such was already “there” when Trump and Sessions arrived? I was not aware that his post is an appointed post like the AG — a position the President fills upon arrival in the White House..

The President needs to order Sessions/Rosenstein to declassify everything in the FBI/DOJ FISA docs and their actions before and after. When the truth is out and unredacted he will be free to fire Rosy, Sessions, and Mueller.

I suspect that just like most Americans, President Trump knew there was rampant corruption, just not the almost unbelievable depth of it and all the networking. It is time to make a sweep and arrest these traitors. If they are not held fully accountable for what they have done and without any special deals, our nation will never recover. With all these people trying to destroy our country and for all intents and purposes getting away with it, those people who feel powerless are emboldened to act upon every call for violence and destruction made by the left against everything our nation once stood for. They want to feel like winners even if it is taking their own country down and that is a very dangerous situation.
I am angry that this nonsense has been allowed to go on for so long. Since when is it appropriate for those in Congress to openly call for citizens to be attacked because of their political opinions or for biased courts to financially destroy business owners for exercising their guaranteed religious freedom, or teachers to bully little children over a pop tart? I am fed up and have been fed up for years now. Trey Gowdy sure can talk, but he does nothing just like the rest of them. The only one I even trust is Louie Gohmert and that is only because I watched him fight for us on CSPAN for years and consistently stand by our Constitution.

I am so proud that we have people like President Trump and Pam Geller who act and think like Americans who love their country and what it supposed to stand for. Every member of Congress who treats our Constitution like trash has zero business being in Congress. Every judge that thinks they are there to make law needs to go. I think every member should be audited and I truly want to know where every cent they have came from. They are supposed to represent we the people, not themselves. I want this country safe, free, and prosperous for my future grandchildren and their grandchildren. I want clean safe cities again. I want that fricking wall built now. It should be almost completed by now. I want every single Muslim , even if born here, out of our country. Their goals are a threat to future generations.

In his “Psychology of Rumor” written shortly after WWII, Gordon Allport states that the amount of rumor that is about at any given time is dependent on the interest in the subject matter multiplied exponentially by its ambiguity, or how little is actually known. That is the level to which the Mueller witch hunt has degenerated.

We are all interested in the fact our President is being needlessly badgered in the performance of his duties but the unnecessary redactions in released documents and the corrupt media hinders our understanding. One of the redactions covered up the embarrassing fact that DOJ spent $70,000 in taxpayer money for a table.

Why do Sessions and Rosenstein still have the jobs they AREN’T doing?

I really cannot understand what President Trump is thinking/doing when he’s allowing his two top law enforcement personnel undermine him when he could stop it with some well deserved firings at all levels of the DOJ.

Is there method to your ‘madness,’ Sir? If there is, I recommend you expose it soonest as “We the People” are getting restless.

All you have to do is look at the above picture to see the core of criminal activity covering for the squirrel Mueller investigation. These scumbags are still attached like leeches to the DOJ & FBI and possibly the CIA. And they are all being aided by Republicans who do not wish The Swamp to be harmed. Every time any daylight is seen in the investigation of Trump another trashy lawyer or hooker shows up with a new accusation that falls into the category of “So What”. The saddest part of this issue is that no one is going after the Obama/Clinton criminal organizations (where the evidence of guilt is overwhelming).

What you may or may not notice is somebody is always willing to wrap themselves up in an Anti Trump effort.
While $145 million bribes, $400 million campaign “donations” $35 million here & there and a ton of stories of
Clintoniestsa lax national security practices (bathroom server hacked by at least 6 foriegn powers) are just left laying about like overfed dogs on old carpet.
At least 20 undercover CIA agents in China rooted out and executed by the Chicoms.
And-
Not a worry in the world for the Clintoniesta Crime Network….
None of the media will touch a Clintoniestsa sin with a 10 foot pole while President Trump, family & friends endure a rectal cavity exam by the courts & media everyday, 24/7.
The only person who ever says anything nice about President Trump is Sean Hannity.
No need to turn on a radio, television or web site.
It is neverTrumpers from lock to lock.comment image
I’ve got two new books of new Clintoniestsa crimes on my nightstand and the tube says nothing.
Clinton crony’s are being Arkansacided again-never discussed.
It is just to obvious who the media works for.
Don’t try to tell me “no one’s above the law”.
Deja vu?
All we need now is a reboot of Miami Vice as Swamp Vice.

Just go look at the tax records for 2014 for the Clintons foundation. Spent one hundred twenty million dollars on give away 5.1 million. I kid you not. Why did their foundation suddenly close shop after her secretary of state gig? No power to sell, no contributions.

This whole thing was never supposed to be discovered. It would have never come to light if only their polls showing Hillary in a landslide victory were correct. Unfortunately for them, they believed their own fake news. For the future of this Country, this had better get cleaned up, or we will become just another country to be looted by the insiders that will leave a picked over carcass in its wake.

President Trump surely sees the problem, has seen it for some time, and understands that Rosentraitor needs to be shown the door. AG Sessions, too. And a host of others. But it’s politically sensitive (or at least he must think it is,) and so it comes down to a matter of timing.

My guess: Rosenstein’s time will be immediately after the midterms.

Let’s face it folks, we failed. We sat on our comfortable butts and knowingly watched the corruption grow to where is now uncontrollable. We watched our government use the education system to indoctrinate our children. We watched them cast veterans, who willingly risked their lives aside. We watched as the word “illegal” became rasist. We watched as state after state fell for socialism. We watched almost 2000 children disappear everyday in our country. We watched as refugees became more important than the seniors who risked everything to come to a new country with nothing but there desire for a better life for their family. We watched as employees we elected became career politicians who milked our country for millions if not hundred of millions. So the next time life hits you in the groin, stop watching and do something. Silence breeds ignorance. Political correctness no more!

Before this year is done, President Trump must take the step of having the current head of the Justice Dept Jeff Sessions moved out of that position, also get a new head of the FBI, and then task them with clearing out all of the “deep state” and at the same time go after Hillary Clinton for every crime she’s committed including the so called Clinton charity ! Yes the left will shriek but so what.

Summon the Chief Justice and Congressional leaders to the White House. Present evidence and proposed Warrant / Order for the Justice to sign. Send Fed Marshals to FBI / DOJ building. Curfew and search for warrant specified servers, documents, files etc. Let rank and file workers in after vetting so the Department and Bureau may continue it’s charter mission. Arrest and try the globalist conspirators.

The White House, meaning those on Trump team, should bring suit in federal court to force Rosenstein to be recused due to conflict of interest.

This also should be reviewed by the Inspector General, Horowitz, since I think he is still Inspector General and the Office of Professional Responsibility within the Dept. of Justice.

These issues do appear to indicate long standing conflict of interest, however it is a characteristic of our legal system that lawyers can be employed by anyone as long as they are members of the bar.
