WATCH: President Donald Trump told Theresa May how to do Brexit ‘but she wrecked it’

33

Indeed, she did. She campaigned on it and did not deliver. It is shocking and refreshing to hear straight talk from these corridors of power when the opposite has been true for   — well,  forever.

It is important to remember that among all these players, only one is a incredibly skilled and successful businessman, President Donald Trump. The rest are career politicians (a sharp but useless skill especially when it comes to real-life practical matters  and most especially matters of commerce and trade).

Donald Trump told Theresa May how to do Brexit ‘but she wrecked it’ – and says the US trade deal is off

In a world exclusive interview with The Sun, the US President said Theresa May had ignored his advice by opting for a soft Brexit strategy

By Tom Newton Dunn, Political Editor in Brussels, 13th July 2018,

DONALD Trump today accuses the PM of wrecking Brexit — and warns she may have killed off any chance of a vital US trade deal.

The US President delivers his incendiary verdict on her negotiating strategy in a world exclusive interview with The Sun.

In a world exclusive interview with The Sun, Donald Trump said Theresa May had ignored his advice by opting for a soft Brexit strategy

In an extraordinary intervention timed to coincide with his UK visit, Mr Trump said Theresa May ignored his advice by opting for a soft Brexit strategy.

And he warned her any attempts to maintain close ties with the EU would make a lucrative US trade deal very unlikely.

Mr Trump said: “If they do a deal like that, we would be dealing with the European Union instead of dealing with the UK, so it will probably kill the deal.”

Donald Trump said Theresa May’s new soft Brexit blueprint would ‘kill’ any future trade deal with the United States

His comments, damaging to the Prime Minister, come as he delivers his most brutally honest verdict yet on Britain in which he also:

Mr Trump’s remarks come as he prepares to meet the PM for a working lunch at Chequers.

He will then board a helicopter for Windsor Castle to meet the Queen before flying up to Scotland for a private two-day visit.

I told May how to do Brexit but she didn’t listen to me

THERESA May’s new soft Brexit blueprint would “kill” any future trade deal with the United States, Donald Trump warns today.

Mounting an extraordinary attack on the PM’s exit negotiation, the President also reveals she has ignored his advice on how to toughen up the troubled talks.

Instead he believes Mrs May has gone “the opposite way”, and he thinks the results have been “very unfortunate”.

His fiercest criticism came over the centrepiece of the PM’s new Brexit plan — which was unveiled in full yesterday.

It would stick to a common rulebook with Brussels on goods and agricultural produce in a bid to keep customs borders open with the EU.

But Mr Trump told The Sun: “If they do a deal like that, we would be dealing with the European Union instead of dealing with the UK, so it will probably kill the deal

“If they do that, then their trade deal with the US will probably not be made.”

Mr Trump made the bombshell intervention during a world exclusive interview with The Sun — the only British media outlet he spoke to before his arrival in the UK for his first visit as President.

It will pour nitroglycerine on the already raging Tory Brexiteer revolt against the PM.

And in more remarks that will set off alarm bells in No10, Mr Trump also said Mrs May’s nemesis Boris Johnson — who resigned over the soft Brexit blueprint on Monday — would “make a great Prime Minister”.

A big US-UK trade deal, long promised by Mr Trump, is cherished by Leave campaigners as Brexit’s biggest prize.

But the President said Mrs May’s plan “will definitely affect trade with the United States, unfortunately in a negative way”.

He explained: “We have enough difficulty with the European Union.

“We are cracking down right now on the European Union because they have not treated the United States fairly on trading.

“No, if they do that I would say that that would probably end a major trade relationship with the United States.”

The scumbag, Leftist MSM worldwide is feasting on Trump’s visit to Britain; the entirety is negativity and utter loathing. Trump, needless to say, is right, PM May capitulated to the EU, as she and her henchmen surrendered to Islam. The woman is inept and utterly gutless. Meanwhile, the so-called news providers are propagating the ‘Hate Campaign and Protests’ in a feeding frenzy, near-orgasmic that the Brits despise the President as much as they.

It matters not if Trump is right, the Progressivist media will denigrate and spurn Trump because, in their worldview, politics, Trump is always dead wrong. Undoubtedly, there are people of Britain who back Trump; however, they as here are vulnerable to being bullied and attacked by those of the Leftist contagion; a scourge that is widespread in the once Great, Britain.

It could be argued that Britain was headed down a slippery slope since Tony Blair occuped No. 10 Downing Street. But it is quite clear Mrs. May, in every which way, is no Margaret Thatcher. And no doubt Trump is painfully aware of that fact, given his assessments.

With mindset of the protestors, the mere mention of “Winston Churchill” and “Margaret Thatcher” would start a riot.

David Cameron was actually a tad more charismatic and likable than Theresa May, in my opinion though his policies were not much different in the long run.

It is just a matter of time and Trump will be dealing with Boris Johnson instead of a silly woman.

Close all diplomatic relations, with the UK. Make ALL Commonwealth citizens, persona non grata, in the US … We should NOT enter a Commonwealth nation .. and they should NOT enter ours. Enough is enough. To hayull with ’em.

What is hysterical? It’s time that America returned back to the days when America was for Americans. To hayull with the rest of the world.

I was there all day yesterday on Whitehall and Parliament square with my star spangled banner and USA loving British friends amongst the Trump haters at their demonstration. we had to fight our way through the wall of hate and we would do it again and again. We couldn’t get to the balloon in order to destroy it as it was well guarded by the police who were trying to keep us away.
It was only a small pathetic looking thing anyway and not at all the behemoth that we imagined it to be and far from flying high over London they were only allowed it to float 20ft in the air. Pathetic!
These haters are the same misfit loony lefties that you have in the USA and worldwide, this is what socialist/communist do. The real/ordinary everyday Britons admire and welcome Trump.
Earlier today there was a well attended pro Trump rally followed Now by a free Tommy Robinson demonstration. I didn’t get home till three this morning so missed today’s event but have been watching the livestream feed via YouTube. Just seen Girt Wilders giving a great video speech.
Don’t forget America has many-many friends in Britain and the Trump haters are just a large minority.
The Tommy demo is on livestream now.

I hope the ” ….real/ordinary everyday Britons…” do not find themselves as bitterly disappointed in Trump as I have.
His speech, so full of lies about Canada, was a slap in the face to me. It still stings!

I have to believe in him Mickey as he is the only voice that is shouting about freedom from the global elites that plot to enslave us. The monster known as the EU being Britain’s worst enemy at this time.

Dave,
I agree with you.
I guess that is called the lesser of the evils.
I still think he is the right man for he right time. But that horse sure needs breaking in.
Perhaps a bigger bit and a tighter harness is the answer to reigning him in a little.
He is unnecessarily alienating his friends and allies.

Well he’s not been in the job long and has already made a big positive impact on both the USA and the world so I feel we have to forgive and forget the few words or deeds that we don’t agree with on the way.
We have to look at the bigger picture and as your saying’ I’m sure he will learn more on the way.

Canada pledged, as a member of NATO, to 2% of GDP dedicated to military spending. Slightly over 1% is nowhere near 2%. So, Canada LIES. When Trump met with the G-7, his first offer was …. NO tariffs and NO industrial subsidies …. New Sweden didn’t like that …. Time to close out NAFTA as a failed experiment. We’ve touched on but two of the LIES Canada’s broken promises …. Canada’s LIES are a slap in the face to all Americans.

Of course America should be for the Americans. I don’t know anyone that thinks differently.
But presidents do need to interact internationally and organise trade deals with the rest of the world.

The US has greater crude reserves than Russia and Soddy barbaria combined. We produce more natural gas than the rest of the world put together. We have vast agricultural resources. I’ve never been a big “free trader”, far less of one now than in the past. Buchanan made sense (what he ran on decades ago). Who needs trade deals?

Dave Glynn

Well on the one hand your right and I agree but on the other hand many Americans like stuff that’s produced elsewhere and demand for it is high and US manufacturers want to sell they’re goods to the world.
Trade is capitalism and that’s what our countries are based on. Free trade both ways is healthiest of all.

“Free Trade” means equal access, no tariffs or barriers, on either side. For far too many decades, “free trade” has meant no barriers, US side … but tariffs and barriers … everywhere else … place on the US.

Well it won’t mean that when I’m PM. Free trade means just what it says on the tin and we respect and maintain all borders.

Talking of parties I’m thinking UKIP are now our only chance as the conservatives have proved themselves to be ineffective traitors. I was hoping FOR BRITAIN would grow and prosper but they remain still at the fledgling stage. I think I’ll have to go with UKIP headed by the good Gerard Batten. But won’t be surprised if Labour get in the next election with they’re communist leadership. Oh shite!

Of coure, she wrecked it. She is a politician. They are truly cackhanded. Donald comes from a different world, a world where word given is kept, where things get done. Politicians live in a world where words are words and things might get done whenever. This is why they hate Donald.
Donald also said something about mass migration. They won’t pay attention to that either.
He also got them to increase their defence spending, but they won’t pay up/ They have long since surrendered to Islam. Russia is no real threat. Russia does not move west unless attacked or forced to move. Putin has enough troubles. Russia is in the East because the USA is in the East.
The politicians will eventually blunder us into another war we don’t need.
