South Koreans resist Muslim migrants: “We have all read about the problems that immigrants have caused in Europe”

42

1,000 Muslim migrants have arrived in South Korea, and some South Koreans are worried that what has happened in Europe will now happen again in their country. They have every reason to be worried. The Muslims who are arriving in South Korea have the same supremacist and violent belief system as those who have come to Europe. The hijrah is the same everywhere.

“South Koreans resist arrival of Yemeni asylum seekers,” by Julian Ryall, DW, June 26, 2018:

There has been a backlash after a thousand Yemenis exploited a visa loophole to apply for refugee status. Many South Koreans are concerned that Muslims will fail to integrate into their society.

Story continues below advertisement

An influx of nearly 1,000 Yemeni asylum seekers into the South Korean resort island of Jeju has triggered a fierce backlash against immigration rules that many South Koreans perceive to be lax and dangerous to the well-being of their society.

The concern has grown suddenly with 950 foreign nationals — the majority fleeing conflict-wracked Yemen — applying at the Jeju Immigration Office for legal refugee status after arriving as tourists.

In the whole of last year, only 312 people applied for refugee status on Jeju and local people fear their island is being targeted as an easy way into the East Asian nation.

“It has become really bad in recent weeks and it is all because Jeju introduced a program that enabled people from 186 countries to come here without a tourist visa,” said Hank Kim, owner of the Core Travel Agency. “It is meant to promote tourism but these people have realized that it gives them an easy way into the country,” he told DW.

‘People are worried’

“And local people here are worried,” Kim added. “We have all read about the problems that immigrants have caused in Europe — in Germany and France in particular — and we do not want that to happen here.

“And we are also worried because of their religion,” he admitted. “We have had no contact with Muslim people before, but we know that they all have big families and they bring their own culture instead of trying to adapt to the place where they live, so people here think that they should have gone as refugees to other Muslim countries.”

Feelings are running so high across the nation over the Jeju provincial government’s refugee-friendly policy that more than 380,000 people have signed a petition on the South Korean presidential Blue House’s official website against the visa-waiver program, while a demonstration is scheduled to take place in central Seoul protesting against the influx of foreign refugees.

A post on a blog announcing the demonstration said, “Politicians are reluctant to respond to the clear voices of the majority of people and the media also supports refugees. It is time to go out onto the streets and make our voices heard.”…

God damn Muslims wherever they are found invading, corrupting and infiltrating, without Muslims there is no Islam. Without Muslims there is no Jihad, no Islamic kkk hoods, no Koran, no Hadiths or any of the satanic filth that are in them which MUSLIMS live out on a daily basis to enslave, rape, murder, pillage wherever they have gone in the last 1400 years.

Yeah, especially when they can’t control the vicious war that they brought on their OWN country.

RAAAAAAACIST!

they bring their own culture instead of trying to adapt to the place where they live, so people here think that they should have gone as refugees to other Muslim countries.

Now where could they have gotten that crazy idea? Don’t they listen to CNN?

South Korea recovered from the ashes of the Korean War in the 1950’s to become an industrial power of considerable heft. They did it through a peculiar mixture of Asian industriousness, adapting to American influences, and the enormous sweat and labor of their own people. South Korea has straddled the East-West divide with great skill, retaining what they could of Korean traditional identity as they adapted to modernity. There is no way they could have achieved all that with the attitudes of the Islamic world. Perhaps there is a certain cultural and ethnic hubris among Koreans. Get over it, whiners.

Duh and who are the vectors of the “attitudes of the Islamic world.”? Djinns?

I am going to add one more thought here, one that has stuck in my mind for 20 years. Back when Korea ran into financial difficulties and had to request assistance of the IMF. There was a tragic case in Seoul of middle school girls committing suicide by defenestration, because they believed they were a burden to their families.

I cannot imagine that a people imbued with an attitude that the kuffar owes them are going to integrate into a homogenous but highly competetive nation like the Republic of Korea.

From 1997 through 2000, I consulted for The Daesang Group and Samsung Heavy. “IMF times”, lasted but nine to ten months. I still maintain close relations with many Republic of Korea citizens, as I do with those that I met during my years with Shimzu, in Japan. I heard little to nothing of teenage girls committing suicide, except when they buckled to (just as the boys) the tremendous pressure of fourteen hour a day classes, between regular school and hakwon private lessons. Fake News.

14 hours a day in school! It sounds more like a labor camp than education.

Achmed Mohandjob

It’s not uncommon for a Korean teenager, or younger, to leave their house at 6 am and not return until 9 pm. Piano lessons, language lessons, special science and mathematics classes, a regular school day .. and little but study in between. There’s not just competition for college … there’s competition for high schools.

IzlamDownpressesHumanity

Whoa, that’s brutal. So public schools run 12 hours a day?

Achmed Mohandjob
Achmed Mohandjob

No. Public schools run around two hours longer than a US public school. It’s the hakwons that take the extra four to six hours.

The Koreans would be well advised to deport every muslim in the country. muslim behaviour is incomparable with anything civilized, even between muslims, it is sub human. Avoid trouble, eliminate islam from Korea, and everywhere.

Well if you knew the bible, you might guess the reason, of why their coming to all these non-muslim countries, by the thousands, listed below:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Britain, Brussels, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany,, Greece, Holland, Iceland, Ireland (rumor has it, they want a million of them, by 2040), Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland…

There is a reason/purpose for this huge immigration, to all those countries, at this time in history. And I’ve repeated it very numorous times, on here, and Robert’s site (jihadwatch.org). Let me know, if you’d like to hear it.

That is amazing that the South Koreans are so tuned in to the everyday
Muslim atrocities in Europe. They are therefore protesting right off the bat –
instead of welcoming the “refugees” with open arms. And it just might save
their country from the evil of Islam. Unlike in America where so many
people don’t have a clue.

If the SK leadership swings open the door for muslim “refugees”, it would not be compassion, but foolishness. I believe the leadership knows better.

I hope the will of the South Korean people prevail over their government’s poor judgement of allowing Muslims into their country. Common sense dictates that Muslims will never assimilate into any civilized culture but will only turn these cultures into cesspools.
