U.S. Envoy: IDF Deserves Medal For Rescuing Syrian White Helmets

29

President Donald Trump’s special envoy to the Mideast, Jason Greenblatt, said the IDF ought to receive a medal of commendation for putting their lives on the line and saving 422 Syrian White Helmets and their families from Jordan.

Israeli forces rescued the civilians from war-torn southern Syria.

It must be remembered that these “humanitarian” white hats are al Qaeda. That the White Helmets are held up as some sort of humanitarian group while true humanitarian organizations such as AFDI are labeled as hate groups speaks to the vicious hypocrisy and the evil of the left.

And they were quickly taken to safety in Jordan, where they will head toward spots in Europe or Canada.

United With Israel has more:

Jason Greenblatt, President Donald Trump’s special Mideast envoy, said that the IDF deserves a “special commendation” for its special operation that rescued 422 Syrian White Helmet operatives and their families, whose lives were in danger.

“The Israel Defense Forces deserve special commendation for this – they managed to pull this operation together quickly and were focused on saving as many people as possible. Thank you as well to the Government of Jordan for their efforts,” Greenblatt tweeted Sunday.

Over the weekend, following the request of the US and additional European countries, the IDF carried out a humanitarian operation to rescue members of a Syrian civil organization and their families.

The civilians were evacuated from the war zone in southern Syria due to an immediate threat to their lives posed by the Assad regime, which had declared the rescue and aid group a terror organization and claimed it was involved in anti-Assad actions.

“The transfer of the displaced Syrians through Israel is an exceptional humanitarian gesture,” the IDF stated.

The civilians were subsequently transferred to Jordan, from where they will move on to European countries or Canada.

“Israel continues to maintain a non-intervention policy regarding the Syrian conflict and continues to hold the Syrian regime accountable for all activities in Syrian territory,” the IDF stressed.

The United Kingdom’s new foreign secretary, Jeremy Hunt, tweeted, “Fantastic news that we – UK and friends – have secured evacuation of White Helmets and their families – thank you Israel and Jordan for acting so quickly on our request. The White Helmets are the bravest of the brave, and in a desperate situation this is at least one ray of hope.”

European Union Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini said in a statement that “the EU recognizes the essential efforts of Israel and Jordan], and of all others—including several EU Member States—who contributed to bringing the White Helmets and their families to safety.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained on Sunday that he was contacted several days ago by US President Donald Trump, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and others, who requested that Israel assist in evacuating hundreds of White Helmets from Syria.

“These are people who have saved lives and whose lives were in danger. Therefore, I approved their passage through Israel to additional countries as an important humanitarian gesture,” he stated.

The IDF has been conducting Operation Good Neighbor, providing humanitarian aid to Syrians, who until recently had regarded the Jewish state as the enemy.

As part of Operation Good Neighbor, the IDF has provided over 1,500 tons of food, 950,000 liters of fuel, 8,000 diaper packages, 545 tons of baby food, 25,000 boxes of medicine and medical equipment, 775 medical equipment units, 250 tons of clothing, 14,000 hygienic products, and 300 tents to Syrians since June 2016.

Additionally, over 1,300 Syrian children suffering from various illnesses and ailments have received treatment in Israel’s specialty clinics.

The Mazor Ladach field clinic, established by the IDF and international aid organizations in the southern Golan Heights, has provided medical treatment to approximately 6,000 Syrian civilians suffering from various conditions since its opening in August 2017.

I’ve read some comments that suggest Koreans (well, South Koreans at least) don’t want any non-Koreans in S. Korea, whatever their race. I kinda believe it too, because I used to know a white guy who married a S. Korean women and her family disowned her forever. Was this your experience in S. Korea?

Back, in the late nineties, when I lived there … a National Assembly member was an ex-American (in the ROK, they follow the example of what the US used to … NO dual citizenship) and there was a major television personality, that was an MD, again … a former American.
The MD/television personality was the son of a former MD, that taught an Yonsei University, and was born and raised in Korea. His family returned, to the US, when he was around fifteen … and he much preferred Korea, so he went back and applied for citizenship.
Here’s the deal, to become a ROK citizen, one must be fluent in hanguk mal (Korean language) adopt a Korean name … renounce any existing citizenship (like it used to be in the US) .. and it’s a lengthy number of tests. Funny thing, first generation CAN be elected to public office, all of the way to president … but they CANNOT vote.
Most Americans, in the ROK, are either military personnel or “English teachers”, which are looked upon as “jangie” (hard to Romanize Hangul), which is the lowest of the lowest of classes.
No disrespect to our nations men and women that serve, however, I personally witnessed GIs urinating on moving subway trains, and the number of rapes that were covered up .. That type of behavior doesn’t shine well upon Americans, in general. I saw much of the same in Japan. Oftentimes, it’s melanin enhanced.
When most Koreans found out that I wasn’t some low-life, low-class English teacher, they opened up … and were some of the warmest, most generous, and open hearted people that I have had the good fortune to meet. They don’t think too highly of jangies.

Thanks, I’d almost forgotten the US has a large, military presence in S. Korea. Are there any USN ports in S. Korea or JP? Did you ever get to Hong Kong while it was still leased to the British?

Yes, I did. Actually, we’d planned a trip on the handover, in 1997. However, every single hotel was booked .. and arranging a flight was impossible. I haven’t been to Hong Kong since the British handed it over. People had made travel arrangements over a year in advance.

American companies are pretty funny. We know a Japanese woman that worked for Advanced Micro Devices. She had been a trainer .. then moved to marketing. They sent her to Korea (slant eyes ‘n all) to meet with some of the majors. She doesn’t speak a lick of Korean, read Hangul .. but having those slanty eyes … she was their choice. Kind of like some Korean company sending a pink pig, that only spoke kraut and Korean, to America for marketing …. not too bright.

After what the Japanese did to the Koreans it doesn’t seem like a wise choice.

Just an addition, not really germane to your question. At first, my wife’s family was none to fond of her marrying a gaijin. But, since we met at the University of Iowa … it was ALMOST acceptable. Although, my wife’s almost eleven months older than I, she was a junior when I was a senior …. college in Japan, then over to the cornfields to get a US Yankee degree. Then, when they found out that I was to be commissioned, following graduation … OH NO … a GI. When it was explained that “commissioned” meant “officer”, they were a bit more accepting. It wasn’t until we’d been married, for almost three years .. that I finally met “Mom and Dad”. Her father, may he rest in peace, was always exceedingly polite towards me. However, her mother fell in love with me, at first sight (obviously, she must have needed a new prescription). I know that my wife took a great deal of flack … getting involved with some long nose, pink pig, barbarian.

Hmmm, I had wondered about that. It’s incredible they would be against you because if anyone should be nominated for being an honorary member of the Nippon master race it would be you.
I’ve heard that the Nihon-jin (are they djinns?) have racist jokes about white people and Chinese. I even heard one about the Chinese but never really understood it, it was something about the Chinese being like table legs.

A Chinese person will eat anything with legs, except a table. Is that the one to which you make reference?

LOL, I think that was it! So obviously you’ve heard it before. The jokes I heard about white people had something to w/them being hairy like monkeys (a slight to Japanese Macaques if I ever heard one).

Achmed Mohandjob

I cannot recall it, exactly … Something about what Chinese eat, anything with wings, except an airplane and anything with legs, except a table. There’s a prelude and, I believe, a few more … I asked my wife and she was the one that remembered the table and airplane.

white helmets are al-qaeda (Al-nushra) drama artists who were at forefront in cooking up “gas attacks” by syrian govt to get lunatic Trump to launch attacks on syria.

Going to war based on video made by Al-qaeda affiliates was height of stupidity.

It took Israelis to expose truth about Palestinian fakery and Lies and boy was Trump furious when he realised how he had been conned http://bit.ly/2rOmfyJ

But Israelis are equally foolish to rescue these jihadi scumbags , they should have been allowed to die

I support and respect the Jewish people, but I honestly feel Israel should just leave Syria alone, it is Arabs and Muslims killing Arabs and Muslims, not frankly the rest of the world’s business.

I’ve wondered if it’s best for Israel if the muslums continue killing each other in Syria ad infinitum. As long as they’re killing each other it’ll be that much more difficult for them to mount an attack against Israel.
