Secretary of State Mike Pompeo: Iran Is Using Embassies to Plot Europe Islamic Terror Attacks

Iran is the world’s largest state sponsor of terror. What is staggering is that Obama and his potty of treason work furiously to rehabilitate, reinstate, recompense and ultimately nuclearize the terror state.

Greatest act of treason ever by a sitting president and his party. Where was the outrage? The pitchforks and torches? The American people were subdued by an enemedia that worked and walked in lockstep to sell this jihad horror.

Pompeo Accuses Iran of Using Embassies to Plot Europe Terror Attacks

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Tuesday Iran is using its embassies to plot terrorist attacks in Europe and warned Tehran that its actions will have consequences after it threatened to disrupt Mideast oil supplies.

Mr. Pompeo spoke as he wound up a short trip to the United Arab Emirates, a staunch U.S. ally, and as senior U.S. officials were wrapping up three days of talks in neighboring Saudi Arabia centered on Iran.

“Just this past week there were Iranians arrested in Europe who were preparing to conduct a terror plot in Paris, France. We have seen this malign behavior in Europe,” Mr. Pompeo said in an interview with Sky News Arabia.

He was referencing a foiled Iran-led terrorist attack on an Iranian opposition group in France that was revealed last week. An Austria-based Iranian diplomat is being held in Germany as a result, one of four people arrested on suspicion of plotting to bomb a meeting of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

The UAE long has been suspicious of Iran and its nuclear deal brokered by former president Barack Obama, from which President Donald Trump recently pulled out.

“The one that we are most focused on today is … that we deny Iran the financial capacity to continue this bad behavior,” Mr. Pompeo said. “So it’s a broad range, a series of sanctions aimed not at the Iranian people, but rather aimed at the single mission of convincing the Iranian regime that its malign behavior is unacceptable and has a real high cost for them.”

Mr. Pompeo pointed to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his recent threats over the Strait of Hormuz, through which a third of all oil traded by sea passes. While in Europe last week, Rouhani said any disruption to Iran’s oil exports would result in the whole region’s exports being disrupted.

Among the top importers of Iranian oil are China, India, Turkey and South Korea.

Iran “should know that America is committed to keeping sea lines open, keeping the transit of oil available for the entire world,” Mr. Pompeo said. “That’s the commitment we have had for decades. We continue under that commitment.”

Mr. Pompeo met Abu Dhabi’s powerful crown prince, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his short trip to the UAE. He also made a courtesy call to the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

1979 was THE year to whack them, tehran today should still be a pile of smoldering bricks. the world’s muslim reign of terror over the last 40 years would have never started if jimmy carter and the democrats weren’t in bed with muslim oil money

I trust the State Department about as much as I trust the Ayatrollah Khameni or Abbas.
I wonder if Pompeo’s green tie isn’t making a message like Erdogan’s Lucky Charms green suit?
