Good for Brannigan: she is refusing to resign, despite the pressure. Who is funding these protests against her, and paying for these glossy signs? In any case, she is right: there is a problem with Muslims not integrating, and with Middle Eastern students without proper documentation. Why is it “racist” to bring up such matters? Because the left is hell-bent on inundating our nation with Muslim migrants, and on demonizing and destroying anyone who dares to utter a dissenting word. Susan Brannigan should hang tough and never give in to this leftist intimidation — to give in would only encourage more of it.

In the year since protesters began picketing Palos Township board meetings to demand Trustee Sharon Brannigan resign for incendiary Facebook posts she made about Middle Eastern immigrants, little has changed.
Story continues below advertisementThe activists pack the township’s tiny boardroom on the second Monday of every month to attempt to shame and deride Brannigan for her comments. Brannigan refuses to step down.
“Can’t stop, won’t stop,” said Emily Biegel, founder of Southwest Suburban Activists, reflecting on the one-year anniversary of the protests.
“The only solution is that racists are not in power, and that racists are not public officials,” Biegel said. “And so, however long it takes for her to either step down or for us to vote her out, we will ensure that racists are not in power and that…they will be held accountable for their words and that they cannot isolate and hate their constituents because of their descent.”
But Brannigan said Tuesday she stands by her position from a year ago that her comments weren’t meant to be racist: “Obviously, name calling doesn’t get anyone anywhere. . . People who scream, yell, whine and carry on when they do not get their way.”
About 100 protesters turned out for Monday’s meeting wielding glossy signs that read, “I’m here because Sharon Brannigan said this … ” with a photo of Brannigan surrounded by screenshots of her controversial Facebook posts.
“In the 3rd district here in Illinois, our demographics include 25% Muslims of which very few integrate within the communities keeping themselves and their activities hidden from the general population,” reads one of Brannigan’s posts highlighted on the posters. “Everywhere you turn, from Orland Park to Bridgeview, those numbers are increasing in leaps and bounds. We are allowing these people whether they have peaceful intentions or not into our country without question.”
Another of her social media statements plastered on the signs asks, “What’s Palos doing? Why are all our schools filling with Middle Eastern students without proper documentation? What is Dan Lipinski 3rd district rep. (D) doing about it?”…

Whenever I hear people use the word ‘racist’ to describe Muslims, I tell them just that: Muslims are not a race. Often that person then carries on to bluster and fudge and say something like “well they might as well be a race”. To which I reply “What, just like the Catholic race?”

I call it the bumper sticker mentality, slap a label on it and make it true. I have been called racist many times on comment sections, anybody who knows me and my life, knows I am the last one to be so labelled. That is all I pay attention to, the comments are just ignored by me. Anybody who calls people racist without knowing anything about them is just bigoted and prejudiced themselves.
Plus if they are looking for racism they should look first at Muslims. They are against the whole human race that is not Islamic. They want to live apart so as not to be ‘contaminated’ by kafurrs, they want their kids educated only in Muslim ways, not to be part of the host society. They regard non Muslims as sinners and destined for hell, as filthy and corrupt. They practise apartheid all the time, so who are the real racists?

If Muslims are a race and actually a “religion”, then members pf all other religions are races. Islam and muslims hate all other religions, therefore Muslims are the most racist people in the world.
There is no radical Islam, there is no moderate Islam, there is just Islam.

Maybe both. Some Western women seem to find Muslim men and their religion attractive as well, for some reason, some girls I knew in college were very sympathetic towards Islam.

I see the protestors as the “RACISTS,” not the councilwoman. She stated what every right thinking citizen should be clear about. These people of this belief system, who live under and accept the living conditions expected by them under the dictates of Islam, simply are unable to understand what it means to assimilate, as previous immigrants to this country did. This council woman did not suggest anything violent. All she did was speak what she believed is the facts and truth. I would have hoped that there would be other groups out there who will raise their voices in support of her, without promoting any violence, as is the custom from those leftists out there that will do everything to stop anyone with thoughts that they disagree with, to be pressured into being denied any opportunity to speak their opinions. The divisiveness must end or this country will suffer the consequences of a very uncivilized society.

ln the case of islam that is what they are doing to ensure their takeover – by silencing us. lt is happening here in Australia right now.A muslim fellow Sam Ekermawi has taken white Australians through VCAT 24 times and now the Anti-Discrimination Board of NSW is proscecuting Sonia Kruger for saying to stop all muslim immigration.This is wise because that is the only way to ensure the evil element does not enter the country and secondly most importanly of all is that muslim in larger number helps their ability to takeover a country as well. So few understand the threat islam presents to our country. As the muslim population increases, they begin to demand more and more while complaining that they are being discriminated against. As a result, more government officials side with the muslims, and persecute those who speak out about the problems the muslims cause.

This is very true.They know they are taking advantage of us westerners.But it is all written in the quran – their intention(agenda)but so many people do not see it-it is quite clear to me! They do not want to integrate they want their own islamic rule and sharia law. They are doing evil-simple as that.That is not to say there are not any good muslim people-there are!!
