European Catholic Bishops Meet to Plan Pro-Immigration Media Offensive

Breitbart, July 14m 2018:

European Catholic Bishops and delegates responsible for the Pastoral Care of Migrants arrived in Stockholm on Friday to discuss how best to combat negative media on mass immigration.

The title of the three-day summit, “A movement of humanity: the flow of migrants and news. Dialogue and communication for a culture of encounter,” highlights the media-based tone of the encounter, which seeks to implement Pope Francis’s call for a “change in mindset” regarding immigration.

Story continues below advertisement

According to event organizers, delegates to the closed-door meeting intend to improve the relationship between migratory flow and public perception, which they suggest is distorted by media that do not always “promote dialogue and the culture of the encounter.”

The bishop of the host city of Stockholm, Cardinal Anders Arborelius, who heads the “migration” section of the European Bishops (CCEE) Commission on Pastoral Care of Social Issues, said Thursday that Pope Francis has a “prophetic voice” regarding immigration and that many people are influenced by him.

Speaking with Crux, a U.S.-based online Catholic website, the bishop of Stockholm said that “not many political partners” follow Francis totally, but “people of all creeds and opinions are listening to him, so there is always a possibility for him to help people open up for a more positive outlook on migration.”

In a statement in preparation for this weekend’s summit, the cardinal insisted on the importance of immigration for the Church.

“The Catholic Church in Sweden is a Church of Migrants,” Arborelius said. “Most of us have come from other countries, and some of us from other denominations. As Christians, we are all pilgrims on the way to God’s heavenly kingdom.”

These reflections on our own status as immigrants, he continued, make us more open to receiving others.

“If we are really aware of this grace, we will also be able to be more open and welcoming to all those migrants that God has sent to us,” he said. “We have our real homeland above. God’s kingdom is our real home. Here below, we are all guests, pilgrims, migrants. We belong together. We have the same vocation: to be the witnesses of Jesus here and now.”

Among the topics on to be addressed in the meeting will be an analysis of how the Church uses the media to talk about immigration, which will include the testimony of various international ecclesial bodies who work in the field of pastoral care for migrants.

Other themes to be dealt with are how the Church “forms and informs its faithful about the phenomenon of migration,” and how the Church uses the media “to witness to the world what it does and thinks about migration.”

The summit will close Sunday morning with the celebration of a migrant Mass with the presence of migrant communities in the Church of Santa Eugenia in Stockholm and a visit to the Abbey of Santa Brigida in Vadstena.

In other words he does not believe in his own ‘god’ if he really did, he would welcome death (and martyrdom) in order to join his ‘heavenly father’. The popes usually cling to life as long as possible, they know very well that there is no afterlife!

It’s got nothing to do with popes ‘knowing’ “very well their is no afterlife”, Pope’s like Francis are frauds who hopes there is no afterlife. If he believed in God he would fight for believers in God, would have fought for and told the world about the savage murder by Muslims of Christians, Yazidis and other non-Muslim minorities in Iraq and Syria, but he is a vile man who does not care, an atheist and disgusting pagan putting on a act of religious piety. But then, who put him there? Bishops and evidently a useless lot.

Crusades cost a huge amount of money, did not earn it and they were conducted – in some cases like the First Crusade – for the worthy purpose of defeating Islam and driving it out of Europe. For all their misguided actions, the crusades saved greater Europe from Islam and occurred with great sacrifices.

Since you mention first Crusade, look up German Crusade against the Jews.

What do you think the Fourth Crusade was, it was not against Muslims but against Orthodox Christianity in Constantinople. You have Pope John Paul II apologise for it

Here is one from Ezekiel 34:2-3:
Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel,
prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the
shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed
themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them
that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

This model of sheep-eating fits the current pope very well.

The truth of the role Roman Catholicism has had with Islam.

Just like to verify that Catholicism created Islam during the early years to destroy expanding Christian faiths in North Africa

What the devil are you going on about? Roman Catholicism had nothing to do with creating Islam that – among other things – began through the actions and teachings of Mohammad. As to it creating “Islam during the early years to destroy expanding Christian faiths in North Africa”, have you bothered to do any study of Islam’s history?

I REALLY wish this POPE would read the BIBLE!
Mr. Pollak is a WONDERFUL conservative Jew that knows his stuff !!!!!

Pollak: How the Left Misinterprets the Bible to Promote Open Borders

Joel Pollak / Breitbart News
19 Jun 2018

The left is outraged that Attorney General Jeff Sessions would dare to cite the New Testament in support of the Trump administration’s policies of enforcing immigration laws at the country’s borders.

Many have responded by citing the Old Testament injunction in Leviticus 19 to welcome the stranger. However, they are misinterpreting the verse. A more accurate interpretation of the passages in Leviticus actually supports the administration’s policy.

Leviticus 19:33-34 reads as follows (Chabad translation):

33. When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not taunt him.

34. The stranger who sojourns with you shall be as a native from among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. I am the Lord, your God.

Rev. Dr. Margaret Aymer and Laura Nasrallah write in the Washington Post that these lines “argue for care for the stranger and the immigrant.”

This is a case, however, where reading the Bible in translation misses some of the original meaning. The Bible uses a Hebrew word used for “stranger,” “גֵר” (“ger”), which is also the word for “convert.”

The implication is that the “stranger” who “sojourns with you” does not merely live among you, but also agrees to obey your God and your laws.

That is how the rabbinical commentators understand the phrase, noting that it is forbidden to remind a “ger” that he used to worship idols and that he had now undertaken the study of the Torah that God had given the Jews.

So, yes — the Bible commands us to “care for the stranger and the immigrant.” But the IMPLICATION is that they will first agree to OBEY OUR LAWS.

That is the thrust of the Trump administration’s policy: to provide a path for those legal immigrants who agree to honor the laws of the United States, and to prosecute those whose first act is to defy them.

Maybe this stupid pope had the hanky panky with some quire boys in Argentina and Soros has some incriminating photos…

First of all, the only holy father is in heaven! Why is this Pope not worried or even talking about the millions of Christians being slaughtered daily in the Middle East and Africa? Or the Jews that are being singled out by migrants and being beaten or murdered? He hasn’t even mentioned the rise in violence against the Jews all over Europe. Does he really believe the BS that these migrants, the majority which are Muslim, are going to accept other religions and live peacefully together? Never going to happen! Not if they ever become the majority. What is his real plan because I just don’t buy that he could be so clueless. I’m sorry if I offended anyone. I don’t mean to. I’m just trying to figure him out.

The beast of the sea (Rev.17) was the RCC wedded to state powers between 538 Ad to 1798 AD – Papal Rome, the Supremacy of the Pope. In 1798, Napolean had the Pope arrested and imprisoned. The French army killed over 1000 priests and occupied the Vatican, and the RCC was thought to be finished. It wasn’t of course, but the rule of the Popes was ended, and so was the slaughter it had conducted against scriptural believers for centuries. In 1929, Mussolini signed a treaty with the Pope that gave back the sovereignty to Vatican City under the Holy See.
In Rev.17, the Papal system is revived and is represented by the scarlet beast. The woman riding the beast in Rev.17, is called the ” harlot ” and she represents the Catholic Church itself, housed in Vatican City and led by the Pope. Without state powers, the RCC is just a church, but Revelations is telling us that in the near future, the RCC is going to get official political status and power once again, and every bit of whoring this Pope is doing, is for that goal. He fully supports the completely bogus ” refugee ” lie, the man-made climate change lie, and is working had to unite all faiths and religions under OWR ” for the sake of peace “.
Of course the Vatican doesn’t see it this way, although Pope John Paul did offer apologies for all the millions killed by the exercise of the RCC’s heresy edicts in the past, but unfortunately, it’s going to happen again, and quite likely in our life time. This Pope has taken the church to places it hasn’t been in a long while and even some new places as well ( imagine telling atheists that by good works they to can make it to heaven ).
The only defense we have is the word of God, and He calls out to all, to know Him and accept the free gift of Christ. The time to offend is here.

Don’t waste your time taking this guy seriously with his revisionist history. Rather read Robert Spencer’s accounts of Islam’s history. The RC Church and Fourth Crusades didn’t help Islam take “basically Turkey”, the Seljuk Turks invaded Anatolia – that is now known as Turkey – long before Constantinople fell in 1453. In 1095 the Byzantine Emperor in Constantinople requested help from Pope Urban II to kick the Turks out of Anatolia and recover Byzantine territory. In1097 the First Crusade defeated the Turks at Nicaea and Dorylaeum, and then at Antioch. They did not hand the country over to the Muslims and Islam. In fact they smashed the Muslims at Antioch – and then at Jerusalem. Further, long before the disgraceful Fourth crusade so damaged Constantinople, a 20 year war with the Persian Empire weakened both the Byzantine Eastern Roman Empire and the Persian Empire. Then a plague devastated the Byzantine empire, so various factors caused the eventual downfall of the Byzantine Empire.

I appreciate your comments felix, and indeed there are a number of Catholics quite dismayed at what this Pope is saying a doing. They should take scripture’s advice and ” come out of her “.
Prophecies in Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 point to an entity, a human institution that arises from the Roman Empire, and that by powers (political) granted to it, becomes a persecutor of true believers. It was to last for 1260 yrs, and according to Rev. 17, returns again to power in the end days.
The Justinian Decree (Emperor Justinian) of 538 AD, grants the bishop of Rome those political powers, and the RCC transforms from a church to agent of authority ( legal, religious and political, much of European monarchy was heavily influenced by this body ). They then used these powers to define heresy and blasphemy, and conduct a campaign against all those who disagreed with the ” church “. And it was bloody.
The arrest of the Pope in 1798, fulfills the 1260 yrs to the letter, ends the tyranny, and is the wound spoken of in Rev 13:3. There is no other human institution that even comes close to fulfilling the description of this entity.
This same beast of Rev.13, is described again in Rev.17 ( the scarlet beast ) and will be the final manifestation of this Papal system. The RCC has two very important distinctions from political Islam. They have a central, all powerful figure head ( Vatican City and the Holy See led by the Pope ) and a world-wide reach with a hierarchal structure of priests, bishops and cardinals. It is this base, led by a whoring church leader ( Francis ) that not only makes it a suitable candidate for a tool of Satan, but is clearly the institution that the world leaders are drawn to, just as we see happening today, to fornicate with her and her with them ( the harlot ).
There is no room for speculation in scripture, and I would be happy to share more with you if you would like. I know these claims are bold and that the plausibility of a revived Papal political power seems a bit out there, it is nevertheless what scripture is telling us

He’s a humanist!
He sees himself ABOVE God’s word.
Below is the definition from a humanist website.
Does this sound like what the Pope is pushing????
He sure isn’t pushing Christianity.

“Humanism is a rational philosophy informed by science, inspired by art, and motivated by compassion. Affirming the dignity of each human being, it supports the maximization of individual liberty and opportunity consonant with social and planetary responsibility. It advocates the extension of participatory democracy and the expansion of the open society, standing for human rights and social justice. Free of supernaturalism, it recognizes human beings as a part of nature and holds that values-be they religious, ethical, social, or political-have their source in human experience and culture. Humanism thus derives the goals of life from human need and interest rather than from theological or ideological abstractions, and asserts that humanity must take responsibility for its own destiny.”

They destroyed it when they dissed the Bible and set up their own rules. The RCC does not teach from the Bible. The worship of Mary, Saints and telling people that they can get to heaven by their good works among other things.
No you must be born again! That’s what the Bible says. I used to go to church with some of my Catholic friends when I was a young kid once in awhile. I always wondered about what they were teaching. It just didn’t sound right. I was raised Protestant. I could go to their church but it was a sin for them to enter my church.

These fakers need to READ the Bible and stop making fools of themselves.
Humanism is NOT equal to CHRISTIANITY!

Rep. Lamar Smith: Scripture Opposes Amnesty

American politicians, religious leaders, and lay citizens have offered comment on the connection between biblical teachings and immigration issues.
Many have used their interpretation of the Bible to endorse open borders and amnesty for illegal immigrants in the country. There is just one problem that plagues these claims: The Bible contains numerous passages that do NOT support amnesty and instead support the rule of law.

The Scriptures clearly indicate that God charges civil authorities with preserving order, protecting citizens, and punishing wrongdoers. A prime passage is Romans 13:1-7: “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities.” Neither God nor the Bible ever rewards lawlessness (1 Timothy 1: 8-10).

Consider Leviticus 19:33-34, frequently cited by amnesty advocates: “When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.”

Mass-immigration and amnesty advocates claim that these passages mandate that a society welcome any and all foreigners. But such passages do not mean that foreigners should disregard civil laws to enter illegally or that we should overlook it when they do. The law God laid down for Israel allowed legal distinctions to be drawn between natives and non-natives.

Also, the Hebrew term for “sojourn,” as well as the dictionary definition, means “temporary stay.” A related term used in some scriptural translations is “stranger.” So this passage offers no scriptural sanction for allowing millions of illegal immigrants to remain permanently in the United States. In the New Testament, the word “stranger” denotes one who is simply unknown (The New Westminster Dictionary of the Bible), not someone who is a foreigner.

Related to the Leviticus citation is the passage about treatment of “the least of these my brothers” – the hungry, the naked, the stranger, the prisoner. This quote from Matthew 25: 31-46 plainly is based on individual acts of kindness and does not mandate a public policy. A note in the New Interpreter’s Bible says, “… it is the individual human beings, not nations as corporate political structures, that stand before the judgment.”

Finally, Bible passages support borderd (Exodus 19:12), boundaries (Deuteronomy 32:8; Proverbs 22:28), standards (Numbers 2:17), and order (Isaiah 9:7). Borders and boundaries are consistent and important principles throughout the Bible, being mentioned some 200 times in one context or another. This suggests little biblical support for anyone’s claim to have a “right” to live somewhere illegally.

Americans need not apologize for wanting to uphold the rule of law. We have every right to be a sovereign nation. Our nation has a wonderful tradition of welcoming newcomers. Furthermore, we admit more than one million legal immigrants a year, far more than any other country.

There is a difference, though, between those who play by the rules and come in the right way and those who don’t. And the Bible’s commentary on strangers and foreigners makes that clear.

That is part of the problem here, church’s poke their noses in and facilitate illegals. In Arizona, there is a Catholic church that allows illegals to gather every morning waiting for work.
“Submission to Civil Authorities (1 Peter 2:13-17)
13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, 14 or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right.
15 For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men.
16 [Act] as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but [use it] as bondslaves of God. 17 Honor all men; love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.”

“Romans 13 New Century Version (NCV)
Christians Should Obey the Law
13 All of you must yield to the government rulers. No one rules unless God has given him the power to rule, and no one rules now without that power from God. 2 So those who are against the government are really against what God has commanded. And they will bring punishment on themselves. 3 Those who do right do not have to fear the rulers; only those who do wrong fear them. Do you want to be unafraid of the rulers? Then do what is right, and they will praise you. 4 The ruler is God’s servant to help you. But if you do wrong, then be afraid. He has the power to punish; he is God’s servant to punish those who do wrong. 5 So you must yield to the government, not only because you might be punished, but because you know it is right.”

The Catholic and Lutheran Church make LOTS of money in setting “refugees” and illegals. They love money more than following the Bible.

1Tim.6:10

[10] For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after,
they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

I was raised Lutheran and this is a big reason I quit going, I refuse to have my tithe used to support breaking the law. It amazes me, the amount of support that church’s in the US, support foreign charities, foreign people and children etc. I believe charity starts at home, we have plenty of families/people here who need help. I would rather have my money used to pay a needy family’s electric bill to keep their lights on or food to eat etc and help them with a hand up. A lot of times, the thing that stands between people and pulling themselves up, is transportation. JMNSHO

I am pretty sure Ayn Rand did not believe in God. Anyway, we are in the world, but not of it.

Oh goodie, now here we go. Adolph Merkel (Muslim) and a fascist communist pope, just like the good old days of WWII when Hitler and the Vatican and grand Mullah of the muslim world teamed up to rule mankind. This pope is such a sickening, vile, disgusting, Stalinist hypocrite.

I don’t get it! Have they heard about the Crusades? Same situate – let them in, then they persecute you to the point of death, and then you either are totally defeated or you fight back. Here we go again, repeating history. Jesus said, though, that He and His Church will not be prevailed upon. But, why do the leaders of the Church have to let it go so far? Islam is demonic. God’s church had already been established on Earth. It is just the demon’s way to use human sin to conquer God and his Creation, man. Crazy…

Once again the Roman Catholic Church has gone to the dogs! Let’s make one thing clear, this church that once nobly led the crusades to smash the Muslims in the Levant and drive them out of Europe, once again is no longer led by Christians. The harsh reality is that this Pope and his disgusting clerics are heretics, frauds, liars and deceivers, evil men assisting followers of a satanic and barbarous ideology. More than 33,000 murderous Muslim jihad attacks since 9/11 and for some extraordinary reason the leaders of this R.C. Church choose not to see – or hear – what is taking place all over the world, let alone the accompanying savagery that only disgusting barbarians would perpetrate.

Pope Francis is a disciple of Satan, not the Vicar of the Christ. A man who mingles with the anti-Semites, anti-Christians, Merkel, and others of his evil covenant. A toxic, malignant entity is endeavoring the downfall of Western Civilization in the name of Allah. There are those who do not perceive ‘Evil’ as tangible; scrutinize Francis, he is evil incarnated as are those of his conspiracy.

Evil pope. Why does he hide behind 40-foot high walls? Let him admit refugees to Vatican City! (They admit NONE.)

Traitors. … Muslim invaders are not migrants. They are invaders. Those who help invaders are traitors.

What part of that don’t these traitors understand? All of it.

“bishop of the host city of Stockholm, Cardinal Anders Arborelius, who heads the “migration” section of the European Bishops (CCEE) Commission on Pastoral Care of Social Issues, said Thursday that Pope Francis has a “prophetic voice” regarding immigration and that many people are influenced by him” …

“we will also be able to be more open and welcoming to all those migrants” …

Translation of Bishop Arborelius’ words: ‘We Clerics hate the peasant scum so thoroughly, we think raping them, destroying their homes, ruining their neighborhoods, threatening them with violence, killing them, and taxing them to death to pay for it all is justified.’
