Wikipedia includes Texas “detention centers” in “List of concentration and internment camps”

28

This is an illuminating example of how Wikipedia is not an actual encyclopedia, but just another propaganda outlet for the left, presenting the left’s agenda as if it were fact, while allowing for the vilification and demonization of defenders of freedom. Wikipedia pages of conservative leaders routinely feature massive sections of criticism, including everything negative that Wikipedia editors can find to throw in. Leftists’ Wikipedia pages, by contrast, border on hagiography in their adulation of their subjects.

So it is no surprise that Wikipedia would chime in on this manufactured controversy over an Obama-era policy. They don’t want anyone thinking anything positive about Trump.

“List of concentration and internment camps,” Wikipedia (thanks to Lukasz):

Separation of immigrant children

As part of the 2018 Trump administration’s family separation policy, nearly 2,000 minors were separated from their parents while trying to illegally cross the U.S.-Mexico border and placed in detention centers.[188][189] Rolling Stone likened these centers to “prisons” while The Houston Chronicle reported that a movement swelled online to call them “concentration camps.”[190][191] Similarly, former First Lady of the United States Laura Bush compared the images of the centers to U.S. Japanese internment camps during the Second World War.[192] 16 out of 34[193] of the centers located in Texas had previously been cited by Texas officials for more than 150 health violations.[194][relevant? ] The former head of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, John Sandweg, was critical of child separation telling NBC News, “You could easily end up in a situation where the gap between a parent’s deportation and a child’s deportation is years.”, and that many children might never see their parents again.[195]

Several government officials disputed accusations of detention centers being concentration camps. Both White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Attorney General Jeff Sessions defended the policy by citing the Bible;[196] Sessions specifically cited Romans 13, saying, “I would cite you to the Apostle Paul and his clear and wise command in Romans 13, to obey the laws of the government because God has ordained the government for his purposes.”[197] In another interview, Sessions stated that “we’re doing the right thing,” and that the children “are not being abused.” U.S. Customs and Border Protection deputy commissioner Ronald Vitiello claimed that “it’s far from a concentration camp,” arguing that critics “should be more accurate when they describe what we’re trying to accomplish there.”[198]

As a response to the separation policy, Senator Dianne Feinstein introduced the Keep Families Together Act on June 8, proposing restrictions against separation of families crossing the border illegally.[199] As of June 18, all 49 Senate Democrats have co-sponsored the bill while no Republicans have endorsed the bill.[200] Senator Susan Collins, a Republican critic of the administration’s immigration policy, refused to endorse the bill, instead supporting a previous bill that included funding for the proposed border wall.[200]

Republican Senator Ted Cruz initially defended the family separation policy in an June 11 interview.[201] On June 18, despite his previous support of the detention centers, Cruz announced that he would introduce his own legislation to end the policy, criticizing the Democrats’ bill as “returning to the failed policy of ‘catch and release.'”[202] Cruz stated that his bill would end the separation policy by authorizing the construction of shelters to house families, expedite asylum cases, and increase the number of federal immigration judges

When I post on message boards or groups (social media) I don’t acknowledge Wik-eee-pee-D-uh as a legitimate reference. Anyone who wants to be taken seriously does not use that site for source material. I ignore any and all search results with the “wiki” prefix. Period. Total boycott, no negotiations.

Ha, ha, glad you asked. Bam Bam is Obama. Many years ago someone referred to him as Bam Bam – a reference to Barney’s adopted son Bamm Bamm Rubble in the Flintstones cartoon who always carried a club and smashed things to punctuate the action.

Leftists in CPS separate children from their families for lacking car seats, not paying child support, not paying back child support, not having enough bedrooms, not paying alimony or criminal judgments, and on and on and on …

Not to mention – children are separated from their parents when the parents are arrested for crimes …

And all too INfrequently, children are separated for negligence, child abuse, molestation, and domestic violence.

NONE OF THE LEFTIST A-HOLES HAVE GONE THROUGH THE PICTURES OF BEATEN KIDS

– KNOWING THE PERPETRATOR JUST VANISHED WITHOUT SO MUCH AS AN INCIDENT REPORT B/C HE’S ILLEGAL.

I HAVE.

Yes, I get accused of not taking good care of kids and the officer won’t let me proceed to drive the kid to school just ’cause I don’t have correct car seat so kid gets separated to a social worker and we’re from here. That’s OK, right,if i didn’t follow law.Get it ? Then I prob. pay bigger fine than that alien mother.

Well, I’ve never seen a case where an officer brought in a kid for a car seat violation. Around here they usually they write a ticket to an American – or just let it go if the driver is illegal. (Yes I know … frustrating.)

In your case, and mine, if we were pulled over and did not have the right car seat, we would only get a ticket – unless it was a targeted case in which the police were ordered to make an arrest and take the kids. (I have heard of this happening btw – but I never saw it myself.)

The car seat cases (I’ve handled about a dozen) come from what I suspect are ‘abuse of authority’ cases. Usually the school or some angry bipolar relative accuses the parent of neglect or abuse, then the Social Worker – young and Leftist – does an ‘investigation’ and pulls a kid (one or more) b/c the parent is poor and stupid. CPS uses the car seat issue as one of the ‘reasons,’ but it’s just a proxy just like a Mary Jane bust on the LEO side.

This is a technical foul that one should know is an ‘abuse of authority’ because they do not use it in cases of actual abuse. In fact, in actual abuse cases, CPS often has a terrible time trying to pull a kid – unless the circumstances rise to the level of an arrest and a charge – which rarely happens unless the criminal is a poor white or black American. The reason for this is the lawyers involved and the Legal department. …

Most of us do not know – but if you ‘neglect’ or ‘abuse’ your kids, but do nothing which rises to the level of a ‘crime’ – CPS generally can put you through the ringer – and the only way to stop it is to get a lawyer (which of of course no one can afford in these cases). But if the ‘abuse’ may be a ‘crime’ CPS has a mandatory duty to inform the police, at which point lawyers for the CPS and the DA get involved and often pour out the case b/c they know the Public Defenders office will rip ’em a new one.

This is not true everywhere btw – it depends on jurisdiction and the State. But it is generally true for most States and jurisdictions.

This can be very frustrating. I saw kids come through the system – and
they looked like they had been mugged on a Saturday night by a gang –
and go back to their abusive parent in less than a week. But I had one client – black and ‘slow’ – she had to work with CPS for 7-8 months to get her kid back after she was accused of neglect.

The whole system is a real eye-opener. Especially to anyone who grew up in a lily-white, Left-tard, upper middle class ‘hood on one of the bi-coasts.

I think THIS, gives the true-er account, which burns me up, still!

Immigrant Families Could End Up at Military Facilities

https://www.voanews.com/a/immigrant-families-military-facilities/4448092.html

Let’s just build them some nice “houses”, call it a “base”, and feed and clothe them for free!! Give them anything they want! Wtf??
We’re going to use HOW MUCH money to build these things, on OUR soil?? Why don’t Trump give the money to the Mexican government, and tell THEM to build them on THEIR side of the border?? By the way, what are these “people” running away from? War? Oh, their running over HERE, because their so poor?? Are the drug cartels, chasing them?? What is it? Oooh, I know, FREE room and board….well dang Trump, get those “bases” built, PRONTO! And just wait awhile….as soon as word reaches the thousands of poor people down there, your gonna see a “million man (er, woman), march”…with their many many children.
This is really messed up. What happened to our “supposed” WALL? That much money, to build homes for these poor people, on OUR side of the border, mind you…..could be spent on a WALL!! I had a feeling, since the “wall” was first talked about by Trump, that there wasn’t going to be a wall, and here’s the proof!! Let’s build them a nice place to stay, and food, and water, and medical assistance, and ….this…and this…JUST Sickening!! While our poor and hungry in this country, don’t get free stuff, handed to them! Now I’m gonna go scream!!

I’ve heard off and on that Wikipedia slants their information to the Left….this article confirms it…and Google directs you to them when you’re searching anything…
My concern is for the young people in the school indoctrination camps…they have no idea about concentration camps during the war….or what they do learn is wrong…
All Wikipedia is doing is making our laws about people entering our country in violation of our laws appear like Nazi Germany….and since they aren’t taught about Nazi Germany (the real one) they grow up thinking our country is Evil…..
I’m begging you people out there….take your kids out of the government schools….
….and where the Hell is Sec of Education Becky Devos?!! She was confirmed and we haven’t heard boo out of her….she was supposed to stop this kind of stuff….including the Muslim indoctrination going on in our schools like in W V where the kids were made to write the Muslim prayer in Calligraphy….the prayer that commits you to Allah….and Mohammed!

Wikipedia is user-definable. As such, users define what they think it should say, not necessarily factual. In fact, it is well known that some links are definite opinions, not facts.

Therefore, Wikipedia is to be trusted as much as dancing with a scorpion.

Got more deep info on this Texas thing and Melania: Melania’s jacket shows a secret message from her to those in the know: “I really don’t care. Do U?” = “I’m not interested in kids myself, but do U want to buy one or two for yourself? Make best offer.” This is all about the underground operation going on at the D.C, PIZZERIA Melania owns with Ivanka: it’s harboring young children as SEX SLAVES as part of a CHILD-ABUSE racket. The restaurant is the headquarters for a child-trafficking ring using the border kids. Where do you think they’re secretly sending and hiding all those missing illegal girls and babies the government is kidnapping at the border?? They’re shipping these poor kids over to friends in Eastern Europe and Saudi Arabia.
