Netanyahu Congratulates Trump on ‘Historic’ North Korea Summit

17

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent out some warm congratulations President Donald Trump’s way, applauding the way the White House organized and brought to fruition a “historic” summit with North Korea.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratuled President Donald Trump on North Korea.

The summit led to a signed agreement between Trump and the despotic Kim Jong-Un — and though the agreement doesn’t guarantee everlasting peace, or completely denuclearize the North, it does take a dramatic step toward those goals.

At the same time, it sends the message that this White House is not only led by a strong, bold president — but also a diplomatic one.

And that has the left shaking in election fear, of course.

More, from World Israel News:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday released a statement praising US President Donald Trump for his meeting in Singapore with the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

“I commend US President Donald Trump on the historic summit in Singapore. This is an important step in the effort to rid the Korean peninsula of nuclear weapons,” declared Netanyahu.

What emerged from Trump’s meeting amounted to an agreement to continue negotiating the denuclearization of Korean peninsula and a promise that the US would halt exercises there in conjunction with the South Korean military, in addition to the potential withdrawal of US troops from South Korea in the future.

In his comments on Tuesday, Netanyahu linked Trump’s position on Iran to his stance on North Korea.

“President Trump has also taken a strong stand against Iran’s efforts to arm itself with nuclear weapons and against its aggression in the Middle East,” Netanyahu explained. “This is already affecting the Iranian economy. President Trump’s policy is an important development for Israel, the region and the entire world.”

The response from the Islamic Republic of Iran was far less positive, with government spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobakht stating, “I do not know with whom the North Korean leader is negotiating. This person is not a wise representative for the US.”

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi was equally dour, announcing, “For the time being, we cannot be optimistic about the United States’ behavior, and the government of North Korea must approach this issue with absolute vigilance.”

North Korea is China’s proxy. It could be a bumpy ride as we work out our trade imbalance with China. China is sneaky too. We can NOT allow China to steal our technology secrets and dominate that industry. The WTO organization helped China on the road to economic prosperity at our expense. China has been one on many countries looting our country. Trump is trying to stop that. Decades have gone by where we have been shafted.

Bang-on, Felix; meanwhile the Democrats, RINOS, and the MSM continue to undermine and downplay the President’s summit with Kim Jong-Un. I concur, China, indeed, is everything you mention and more. Former leaders of America have tossed the nation’s trade under the bus, especially China. There is only one thing to which these nations, China, and others, respond; hardcore negotiations. Netanyahu is the one ally in whom Trump can trust.

China has hacked us one time too many, stealing so many of our high-level secrets and technologies. NO MORE.

“China is sneaky too.”
Muslim Nationalists practice TAQIYA, Russian Nationalists practice MASKIROVKA, and the Chinese read SUN TZU’s the ART OF WAR.

Obama was probably reading Deepak Chopra, or Fareed Zakaria’s “The Post American World”.

No wonder he was outsmarted by all three.

Trump: Jump.
Netanyahu: How far?

(The reverse is also true.)

I think you mean, “how high.”

Do you know how ludicrous it is to have one telling the other to jump then the other telling him to jump in return? That’s what, “The reverse is also true,” means.

Ha ha.He used the wrong analogy.
should have just stuck to “scratching each others back” like we do with our British friends.

Anyway the world is just jealous that we have strong alliances with the British and the Israelis. In the Arab Nationalist world, they can’t even trust each other.

I doubt any Western leader could impact Netanyahu’s policy, he is a very independent and strong-willed man.

At the least, Netanyahu is a leader who can see the positives resulting from the meeting between Trump and Kim. Whether it works out for the good of peace, time will tell. Israel’s leader is one bright guy. I would hope that our leaders here in the states can emulate his intelligence. The people must also recognize that if this all works out properly and peace becomes the rule and not the exception, Iran now faces a similar result although there are very different issues at play. The Ayatollahs now have something serious to think about and maybe our so-called European allies will recognize that walking side by side with our President is in their best interests as well. Let us hope.

Let us wait and see for results, to see if Kim is truly sincere! Always hope for the best but prepare for the worst!

exactly what Trump says.

Don’t be surprised if Kim suddenly launches missiles in October as an October surprise to influence the elections this year.

My default response has always been: Blame BILL CLINTON’s failed 1994 nuke deal. then vote for Trump’s party even more strongly bec. I would be even more pissed off.
