‘Ramadan Mubarak’ — Trump Welcomes Muslims to the White House for Iftar Dinner

224

Last year, Trump didn’t hold an iftar, breaking a “tradition” that the enemedia claims goes back to Thomas Jefferson, but which really goes back only to Bill Clinton. Trump should have stuck to his guns. Who influenced him to do this, and to tell all these lies? “Trump pointed to the ‘timeless message of peace, clarity, and love’ that occurred during the month of Ramadan, urging all Americans to strive to achieve these values.” 501 people have been murdered by Islamic jihadis so far during this Ramadan. Americans should strive to achieve that?

“‘Ramadan Mubarak’ — Donald Trump Welcomes Muslims to the White House for Iftar Dinner,” by Charlie Spiering, Breitbart, June 6, 2018:

President Donald Trump hosted an Iftar Dinner at the White House on Wednesday in honor of the Muslim feast of Ramadan.

Story continues below advertisement

“To each of you and to the Muslims around the world, Ramadan Mubarak,” Trump said, during remarks at the dinner, extending the Ramadan greeting shared by Muslims. “In gathering together this evening we honor a sacred tradition of one of the world’s great religions.”…

In the first year of his presidency, Trump broke the tradition of hosting an Iftar dinner at the White House, started by President Bill Clinton. But this year, the White House restored the tradition….

Trump pointed to the “timeless message of peace, clarity, and love” that occurred during the month of Ramadan, urging all Americans to strive to achieve these values.

He recalled that the first state visit of his presidency was to Saudi Arabia, calling it “one of the most fabulous times” of his presidency.

“Let us pray for peace and justice and let us resolve that these values will guide us as we work together to build a bright and prosperous future that does honor and glory to God,” he said.

Missing from Trump’s White House Iftar dinner this Ramadan? Muslim-American guests
After nixing event in 2017, White House revives annual tradition, but snubs American Muslims http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/trump-iftar-dinner-white-house-boycott-muslims-not-invited-1.4694348

Donald Trump’s White House broke a two-decade-old tradition last year by cancelling the president’s annual Iftar dinner. On Wednesday night, the annual Ramadan reception, conceived in the 1990s to celebrate Muslim-Americans, was back on.

All that was missing? Muslim-American guests.

CBC has yet to confirm the attendance of a single one.

The White House described the Iftar as being “for the Washington Diplomatic Community,” and most of the 50 or so guests in the state dining room of the East Wing were foreign ambassadors representing majority-Muslim countries.

Leading members of the U.S.’s Muslim community who typically attend the event weren’t invited. Muslim advocacy organizations the Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim Public Affairs Council were both snubbed.

So, too, were prominent spiritual leaders Mohamed Magid, the imam of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society Center, and Talib Shareef, president of the historic Nation’s Mosque, the oldest mosque in the capital, both of whom have been fixtures at the annual Ramadan celebration.

Also not invited were Democratic House representatives Keith Ellison and Andre Carson, the only two Muslim members of Congress.

“This is not for us; this is for him,” Obeidallah said. “I imagine it might be more like a board of directors meeting from all the Trump-related properties than actual Iftar.”

The White House declined to provide an official list of attendees, citing protocol for East Wing events, and it didn’t respond to requests for comment on why only diplomats were invited this year. The State Department referred questions to the White House.

Thank you!

“only diplomats were invited this year. ”
tells me what I need to know.

He did NOT invite CAIR, Muslim Brotherhood and the two Muslims in Congress. He wants a good relationship with the FOREIGN MUSLIM AMBASSADORS to unite them against IRAN. Iran is a problem…The EU is siding WITH IRAN.

Just wondering why, many people say, that it’s not a religion..here’s how I see it.

They have a “god”, that they pray too, (stupidly) 5 times a day
They have a “church”, that they go to, to learn about their “evil god”, and what their “evil book”, demands them to do…
They have a “book”, where their “god” tells them, instructs, teaches, no…DEMANDS them to do everything that’s written, from how to pee, to how to eat, dress, etc etc..what to do, how to do, everything in their life! (David Wood, on Youtube, is a GREAT teacher on these! In a humorous fashion, of course!)

I say that sounds exactly like every other religion. Of course, there is the many “other” parts too, such as the “political”, etc…

75% of koran is about killing you infidel. Mohammed fail to get any message across until he became a general and started slaughtering people. He was a pedophile (which is why the pedophiles like obama, clinton etc. like it). They bow down not in submisssion to god but in submission to power. They are bowing down to a meteorite that fell from the sky in mecca. So in summary a general from the 7th century forced the initial group to do what he wanted and now with the totalitarian systems in place the rest live in fear of leaving because then they will be killed. Hope this helps a little.

We must not forget they use lies, deceit

Taqiyya (Shia) or Muda’rat (Sunni): tactical deceit for the purposes of spreading Islam.
• Kitman: deceit by omission.
• Tawriya: deceit by ambiguity.
• Taysir: deceit through facilitation (not having to observe all the tenets of Sharia).
• Darura: deceit through necessity (to engage in something “Haram” or forbidden).
• Muruna: the temporary suspension of Sharia in order that Muslim immigrants appear “moderate”.

Holy Cow, Knight! You didn’t give your comment a proper beginning to to get people interested! I’ve never seen that site before, and wow, I sure wish I knew about it before! That is definitely going into my archives, where I’ve been collecting everything islam/muslim since 9/11. Mercy, that’s a whole LONG list of Islam in schools across America! I have them listed and categorized by state, whereas this one is the whole collection as one. I see that some of them go back to 2015, but I’m not surprised at that. I wonder how long it would take someone, to read each and every one of those links! Wow! Definitely got a good site to spread to “unbelievers” (of islam spreading far and wide in American schools), there! …Whew! Mindblowin stuff! Thank You, and keep up the good work! Now, if Trump could just say something, or do something about it, right? Not happenin..sadly.

I despise Islam but I will not let it blind me and make me paranoid. I believe Trump is using these Muslim diplomats to unite against Iran. Trump likes to pit them against each other for our benefit – no nuclear weapons for Iran.

So far Trump has been living up to his promises. Yes the wall is a problem… he needs funding… DACA is a problem but our legal immigration is even worse with chain migration and that is WHY he wants to leverage DACA for legal immigration reform based on MERIT and no chain. There are times when you have to compromise to get what you want. We don’t have the votes to pass MERIT based and no chain migration. It is important to remedy that asap.

Too many times people become single issue and nothing changes if they dig their heels in with it’s my way or the highway when the votes for it are NOT there! So I will see what happens next.

It’s the standard line. Notice how CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood and Keith Ellison, and André Carson, a Congressmen, were not invited. The Muslims in the U.S. unveiled their hate again for Trump. When Muslims are angry at Trump, I’m happy.

It appears these are foreign diplomats. If you haven’t noticed, other Muslim countries do not want Iran to have nuclear weapons. I have little doubt that those there represent those countries.

Of course I’d rather not have that filthy in the WH, but sometimes you have to do things that are unpleasant. Trump has more than proven himself in being for the voters and living up to his promises as best he can. Until I see otherwise, Trump is our best bet.

Felix, we all see your faith, and can relate. He came on the scene hard and took no prisoners, a breath of fresh air, and he HAS accomplished many good things even from within a hostile environment, and I too don’t want to think he’s suddenly compromised, but this ” approach ” is not his style. He has always called a spade a spade, and doing this ignores a lot of outright lies from and about this muslim ” holy ” month. It is a disgrace for anyone to pander to them, but him ? If we are wrong, we will happily eat our words, but every muslim organization represented at such a dinner, has an anti-America agenda and should treated as such – not breaking bread with.
I will admit that why he would cave is perplexing, but that alone would be insufficient to dismiss his actions. The dark forces operating from the shadows are far from new to their game, and while money is an unlikely tool against him, it is not the only tool in the shed. With such a target on his back as he has had from the start, it would not be surprising that they finally found a way to hit their mark. If so, it is beyond sad even if it is not entirely unexpected – how many times can one man get bitten by gators, and he is more surrounded by them then even he first imagined.
Maybe I’m wrong to dismiss your ” he has reasons ” claim. He appears to be a prayerful man, and that would be the only concession I would give on this. If he felt that he was led to do this, then I would consider a pass, but even at that, it would be hard to swallow.

I agree he is our last chance, and that his winning was, at the least, fortuitous, if not Heaven sent. Hillary is an apex gator amongst gators, and would have happily overseen America’s complete demise as her bank account ballooned.
But here’s the thing, everything that Trump has done or can do to improve America, and as previously stated, he has done a lot, is in jeopardy with muslim = Islam’s presence. Islam has not been reformed and cannot be reformed by threat of death to any who might try. As such it is a cancer, or as Jesus said ” Do you not know that a little leaven, leavens the whole loaf ? “. It’s like that line from the first ” Terminator ” movie, ” It can’t be bargained with, it can’t be reasoned with, it doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear, and it absolutely will not stop, ever, till you are dead.”, ( or absorbed ).
No other issue apart from WMDs, represents the same level of threat that Islam and it’s backers do. A lot of us thought Trump was on the same page, and his wavering here should concern us all. I’m not saying that I’m throwing in the towel just yet, but this is a kick to the groin and was not expected. I hope you are right and that all of our misgivings are proved wrong, because the alternative is so disappointing and untenable, and there is no one else to turn to.

Read the koran. The Muslims are laughing hysterically at how they were welcomed to the White House. It is not just that Trump had this event, it is the ridiculous and factually absurd Obama-esque comments he made about Muslims. During the campaign Trump repeatedly pointed out how all these countries were laughing at us and couldn’t believe how stupid the U.S. was with really bad deals. Now these Muslims are laughing and high-fiving each other seeing this as a path to victory. Trump did not host Ramadan last year, but now he did. A small victory in the Islamo infiltration process.

I sent a typed letter. I sent a handwritten note (using my very best cursive and my Mont Blanc Diplomat). I sent a petition signed by forty of my acquaintances. Highly unlikely that anything will come of those three hard copies. The term ” exceedingly disappointed” just gets it started.

Yup. Every great leader seems to take some great exceptions. When we’ve done all we can to make our voices heard, we can still pray according to 1 Timothy 2:1-4. Also, “The king’s heart is a waterway in the hand of the LORD; He directs it where He pleases” (Proverbs 21:1 Berean Study Bible).

Now, if you wanna see all the links to articles I have, that shows that thousands of “them” have been coming in, VERY slowly, so no one would raise an eyebrow, while he’s been prez…I have those too…..and not a word about it from Trump, not a “sorry, but we’re letting more in”, or anything…just quietness…ok, we did have “lip service” about some deportations (did those happen?), and something about a “wall”…(anymore more news about that, nope..it got quiet again)

Hello, felix1999. I do not know anything about joanofark06’s stances or beliefs. I do know mine. I supported Trump, and worked on his primary efforts in Nohio. That does not take away from my displeasure of his administration continuing to bring in moslem “refugees” and VERY FEW Christian or Yazidi refugees. Especially, since many of the Kurdish moslems that defeated isis are persecuting Christians every bit as much as isis did. Moreover, President Trump’s administration NOT enforcing existing immigration laws …. I am disappointed. If his staunch followers do not show displeasure … writing letters and sending petitions …. what will be done? This has nothing to do with “never trumpers” … as they, more than likely, are THRILLED with his continuing to bring in moslem refugees, not allowing Christian refugees, and not enforcing immigration laws …. The never trumpers have to love him for that.

felix1999

Trump IS enforcing our immigration laws.
He depends on Jeff Sessions for that. I am not sure if firing Jeff is better than having him remain in his position. Every now and than Jeff throws us a bone. Trying to CONFIRM someone decent is a problem…

The number of MUSLIM refugees is SMALL and more CHRISTIANS are coming and the number of refugees is DOWN. We also do NOT use the U.N. for this. The U.N. is our enemy.

Although President Trump gave great lip service to prioritizing those that truly had their lives at risk (Christians), the numbers are little changed. Almost all of the refugees, authorized and allowed by Trump’s State Department, are still moslems.

Indeed, like most on this site, I, too, am somewhat gobsmacked by Trump’s playing footsie with Islamist. One can only hope that the, at times inept, Secret Service was and is always vigilant. Perhaps, our President chose to wear a bullet-proof vest for this unwise occasion. I do not hold any fears of Trump being swayed or duped by this gaggle of Muslims. I’am sickened by this event. I wondered who the guests were. Now, having read a post further down here which clarifies that no CAIR and hopefully, MB reps were present, I feel slightly better, but not much. I will tell you that I sent 2 emails to the WH Communications office this week, asking for info about this dinner. I received answers in a couple hours. They were both form letters, rambling on about the economy. Nothing about an Iftar event. So, they didn’t want to talk about it. It is secret. Nice!

Who made the decision to hold this event? I don’t think we will ever know. That is disturbing. I have been a pretty strong supporter of Trump since he’s been in office, but that support has slipped, mainly because of this event and how it has been handled. Also because of the refugee program that Ann Corcoran blogs about daily on refugeeresettlement watch.com

Trump decided to honor the refugee agreement that Obama negotiated with the Australians to take 2500 men from 2 islands that the Aussies didn’t want to let into the Mainland. Trump agreed to take them and a couple hundred have been brought to the States. However, no one will say where they have been placed in the USA. Nice huh? Pull a couple more stunts like this, or ignore the need to build a Wall, and there will be one less voter for Trump’s re election in 2020!

Nice comment…good to see someone awake, to what’s been going on! As an archivist, of everything islam/muslim, since 9/11, I have that article, about Australia, and another added to it, which I will post here for ya…but sadly, you gotta see this latest one, first: (being a reader of Pamela’s site, you’ve might have already seen it?)

Hundreds of Muslims from Bangladesh breaching US border at Laredo, Texas

http://b1ff5939f6.nxcli.net/2018/04/muslims-bangladesh-texas.html/

Ok, anyway, there’s more articles about this “immigration” into this country, than these two Australia articles, so let me know if you want more!
And by the way:
There were two different sites, that reported this, so here’s the first one, what I call the “shock title”. (Robert likes the extreme reporting, I guess, lol)

Tens of thousands of Muslim refugees to begin arriving in U.S. from Australia

https://www.jihadwatch.org/2017/10/tens-of-thousands-of-muslim-refugees-to-begin-arriving-in-u-s-from-australia

And the second one, of the same subject:

Report: Middle East Refugees to Begin Arriving to U.S. from Australia

http://www.breitbart.com/texas/2017/10/01/report-middle-east-refugees-to-begin-arriving-to-us-from-australia/

Now, the second second one…lol

Another 16 detainees that Australia refuses to resettle are on their way to four locations in US

https://refugeeresettlementwatch.wordpress.com/2018/04/30/another-16-detainees-that-australia-refuses-to-resettle-are-on-their-way-to-four-locations-in-us/

I’ve got tons of websites that give world news on islam, but I don’t think I have the one, you put in your comment, so thanks, I’m going to check that one out, and add it to my collection. And thanks for spreading the word, as I do, on what’s happening to our country. Keep up the good work!
But wait, can you believe Trump is so kind and sweet to Saudi Arabia? In the article up top, he says this?
“He recalled that the first state visit of his presidency was to Saudi Arabia, calling it “one of the most fabulous times” of his presidency.” Well heck yeah it was! He received all those expensive gifts from them, at that time!! I have that article too….But, maybe he should be there, when they do this:

Got it that time! Yeah, I’ve had that site, in my list, it’s a good one! Thanks too, for another article to add to my mega list, of articles, stating that “they” are still coming into this country, under Trump. Has he just been avoiding talking about it, ignoring it, letting it happen, or the main leader playing the fiddle while thousands are behind him, marching into this country. Well, we can pretty much guess, after articles, like this one, and others. One or two articles, might be lies, about him, but when they start stacking up, as I have them, it just has to be the awful truth! I was wondering, when there was going to be “the” article, that would shock Americans, and maybe NOW, I can show them all, what I’ve been trying to show them, all this time! But, you wouldn’t believe, the hate that’s coming from some of my comments too…it’d be funny, it if wasn’t so sad..

Trump Administration REJECTS Iranian and Somali Refugees Cast-off From Australia
By Pamela Geller – on May 13, 2018
http://b1ff5939f6.nxcli.net/2018/05/trump-rejects.html/

No, Trump took in very little He SAID NO MORE! It was when the time that the “muslim” ban happened to stop the transfer of them here that had very few come here. Trump’s REJECTION of the rest of them got very little attention.

He felt obligated to the deal and to keep a good relationship with Australia. What Trump does is tries to give people a chance and wants U.S. word to mean something even if he disagrees with it. It gives continuity to other countries that we honor agreements.

Other Presidents have taken this tact too but this particular situation was Obama giving us the middle finger and tested the continuity ideal. IN other words we don’t want countries to hesitate dealing with us simply because we have changed Presidents.

Well there you go folks…he’s fallen. I’ve been archiving everything islam/muslim since 9/11, and if anyone could look at everything I have, and see the “big picture”, they’d be shocked! My “Trump” folder is getting bigger, and fatter! From all the articles I have on him, bringing in thousands of “them”, into this country, slowly, so people don’t wake up, and realize what’s happening. Does anyone not realize, that he’s been giving more and more “lip service” about this subject? Does anyone think he’ll have a wall built? (Sounds a little like a pink floyd song, there…lol). Does anyone want to see the articles of the killings of Americans, in almost every state now, while Trump has our men overseas, fighting THEM over THERE? Or articles about more and more schools teaching our children how to be muslims? Is everyone asleep, while his mouth moves, but nothing’s being said, or done, about islam in this country? He has to have this big “ado”, about shaking all our soldiers hands, so Americans will all feel good and “fluffy” inside. Well, I’m awake, and still collecting….and when I step back, and look at everything, the “big picture”, it doesn’t look good at all! I’ve been telling everyone for awhile now…maybe THIS article will wake people up NOW? I’ve know about this, because the 15 of May of this year, Breitbart reported on it:

Donald Trump Sends ‘Best Wishes’ to Muslims on Ramadan (your a little late, Pamela, :))

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/05/15/donald-trump-sends-best-wishes-to-muslims-on-ramadan/

(Well, Pamela DID report THIS anyway):

Hundreds of Muslims from Bangladesh breaching US border at Laredo, Texas

http://b1ff5939f6.nxcli.net/2018/04/muslims-bangladesh-texas.html/

WARNING: Trump’s travel ban expired two weeks ago and the U.S. has begun accepting refugees again from Somalia and 10 other mainly Muslim high-risk nations.

I also have an article about “them”, coming in from Australia, by the thousands….sooo, is everyone wake now? Let’s stop talking about Obummer, and start talking about what we have today!

Oh, and since Saudi Arabia was mentioned….everyone remember the article, about Trump going over to SA, and receiving all kinds of expensive gifts, from the king over there, at the beginning of his presidency? (Article available on request)
Well, if anyone didn’t know…they behead people over there, for the littlest of crimes, always have, always will. Maybe Trump might have went over there, and got in the grandstands to watch THIS!!

Here’s a look at some of Trump’s biggest accomplishments of the year 2017.

1. The tax-cut bill

Trump capped off 2017 with his first major legislative victory — the passage of the Republicans’ tax-cut bill, which slashes the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent and reduces individual rates as well as implements some key breaks.

It’s the biggest tax legislation to be approved by Congress since 1986, and would be significant if that’s all it did.

The fact that it also eliminated ObamaCare’s mandate that individuals buy insurance and opens the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling — something several GOP administrations had tried but failed to do — makes it truly historic.

2. Neil Gorsuch’s confirmation to the Supreme Court

Trump’s biggest early victory came when the Senate, in April, confirmed Neil Gorsuch to succeed the late Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court.

Gorsuch’s appointment marked the end of a bitter struggle between Democrats and Republicans over the vacant seat. It was also a victory for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who for nearly a year blocked former President Obama’s pick to replace Scalia from getting even a hearing to sit on the court.

The move also came as Trump aims to reshape the federal judiciary with a host of other conservative nominations. The Senate confirmed 12 of Trump’s federal appeals court judges in 2017, a record for a president’s first year in office.

3. Roll-back of regulations

Trump signed an executive order cutting regulations for small businesses and moved forward with plans to repeal the Clean Power Plan, one of Obama’s signature acts as president. Trump has also overseen moves to expand oil drilling in the Arctic and Gulf of Mexico and granted a permit to the Keystone XL pipeline previously rejected by Obama.

Trump vowed to reduce regulations he argued were strangling the economy, and he’s taken important strides to do so in the wake of opposition from congressional Democrats, who argue the president’s actions on climate are hurting America’s standing in the world. Local governments led by Democrats have acted to reverse Trump’s efforts on the Paris climate accords.

4. The travel ban

Trump ran on a platform of tougher immigration enforcement, both to protect American jobs and national security. A week into his presidency, he took one of his most controversial steps, banning most travelers from seven predominantly Muslim nations from entering the United States.

The move triggered protests across the country and court fights, but, by the end of the year, a version of Trump’s ban was left standing.

Trump also has taken steps to increase border security and has seen a drop in arrests on the border, a possible sign of reduced entries.

He stepped up raids on immigrants in the country illegally and oversaw a surge in arrests across the country. The head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement says the agency plans to take an even more aggressive approach next year.

Trump hasn’t been able to make progress on building a wall on the Mexican border, however.

5. Declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel

In a radical departure from decades of foreign policy, Trump announced that the U.S. would formally recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and begin the process of moving its embassy to the contested holy city. The move signified one of Trump’s boldest statements to the international community, and, specifically, the United Nations, which he has frequently criticized.

6. Withdrawal from Paris climate deal

Trump followed through on one of his major campaign promises when he announced in June that the U.S. would leave the Paris climate deal reached under Obama. While there have since been conflicting reports on the administration’s current stance on the agreement, the move fulfilled Trump’s pledge to tackle one of Obama’s signature achievements and take a tougher stance against the international community.

7. Pulling out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership

Trump began his presidency by carrying out another key promise, withdrawing from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a massive trade deal with Asia he had called a “potential disaster for our country.” He has said his administration will secure new trade deals with America’s Asian allies, though firm details have yet to emerge.

Meanwhile, the administration is at work trying to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement with Canada and Mexico. A new round of negotiations are slated to be held in January, and it’s possible Trump could decide to pull the U.S. from that deal as well.

8. Roll-back of some of Obama’s Cuba policies

Trump followed up on his pledge to roll back Obama’s opening up of relations with Cuba, tightening travel and commercial ties with the communist island. He also placed new financial restrictions on Havana, amid concerns over a series of bizarre “sonic attacks” targeting U.S. diplomats in the country.

While the moves were seen as a clear crackdown by Trump on rapprochement with Cuba, much of Obama’s policies toward Havana essentially remain intact.

9. Moving to repeal Obama’s net neutrality rules

In another blow to regulations enacted under Obama, the Federal Communications Commission voted to repeal its landmark net neutrality rules this month. The move drew ire from Democrats, consumer groups and tech companies, but was seen as a major win for advocates of less government oversight.

10. Fighting — and further degrading — ISIS

Largely following Obama’s strategy, Trump dealt major blows to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, forcing the terrorist group to retreat from its two self-declared capitals: Mosul and Raqqa, located in Iraq and Syria, respectively. Trump also expanded the military’s authority to carry out air strikes in the Middle East, a factor some experts credit for his administration’s progress against terrorism in the region.

“Let us pray for peace and justice and let us resolve that these values will guide us as we work together to build a bright and prosperous future that does honor and glory to God,” thats not an islamic view thats a Christian view, therefore by inviting the muslims to dinner Trump did just this “timeless message of peace, clarity, and love”
Of course the past shows the muslims will not return the favour and will smite us every chance they get.

This may not go down as an astute vote garnering move to coincide with the midterms this year and 2020 beyond. At the polling station where I worked in TX during the ’16 election, I was surprised at the high percentage of young muslimes who “broke ranks” and voted Republican.

Somehow this doesn’t ring alarm bells for me to the extent that it does among most of those who commented below, and I heard somewhere that those he invited were the more assimilated and so-called “moderate” muzzies. In the end, however, I think it was just a gesture signifying nothing more that Trump recognizing Ramadan much as he does Passover – and even the major Christian holidays. The one thing of which I was NOT aware, however (and it was mentioned in one of the comments below), was the fact that the “ban” on unvetted immigrants from majority Muslim countries, has recently expired, so, presumably, more people from the Middle East are now coming her again. But I’d like to think that among that number are a much bigger proportion of Christians than occurred at any time during the Ogime!

And don’t forget that once arrived they breed like rats!
Joseph has posted an email address where you can let him know exactly how you feel about all this and his reference to islam as a peaceful religion of the world.

Thank you for the heads up; and because your response required that I return to this site, I’ve learned even more from others who posted here. I’m not overly worried about the 2500 refugees from Australia; I think it was done as a gesture of goodwill and assistance to the Govt of Australia. Where they end up around the USA, of course, will be interesting to learn. Also, what is the makeup (nationality, etc.) of these muzzies that even the Aussies didn’t want on their mainland?

Again, unlike most who have posted here, I was actually RELIEVED that the guest list was comprised mostly of diplomats – i.e., NO American Muslims! Which, if my political instincts are correct, is far better than including many prominent Muslim Americans who are connected to CAIR, the MB and others opposed to Trump (and, in many ways, the US Constitution!). This was just a different way to hold a diplomatic reception (sort of killing two birds with one stone! That is, entertaining Muslim members of the diplomatic corps without getting entangled with Trump’s domestic political enemies! Good move, actually!).

Anyway, I don’t think Trump has backed off on his more stringent refugee policies; and, frankly, if he actually spoke the “take-no-prisoners” words and language of many of those who have commented on this site, he’d do more harm than good. Islam is definitely the elephant in the living room in the Western world today, but most of the world’s leaders aren’t ready for the very UN-diplomatic language that most here are calling for. I still have faith in Trump; and if you think you’ll be accomplishing anything by NOT voting for him, there’s no one on the horizon from ANY of the political parties that could garner more than a sliver of the popular vote; and those stridently anti-muzzie politicians that do manage to actually get a place on the ballot will be slandered and pilloried by the enemedia!

Izzy, you have completely missed my point!! It has zero to do with “good” & “bad” muzzies; it’s a political and diplomatic decision, virtually devoid of religious consideration! He’s not negotiating a damn thing, and he’s barely “schmoozing” with the enemy! Mainly, he did that as a courtesy to our majority-Muslim ALLIES!! What about “allies” don’t you understand? We don’t have to like their religion or, more to the point, their goddam and evil Shariah – we just have to say hello and “have a nice day!!”

Joy Daniels Brower

I used to like – even admire – your remarks on this site, Izzy, but in this instance you sound like an absolutist idiot! In the world in which, at least, I, live, we make allies when and where we can and/or must. So, as much as I really don’t “admire” Jordan or Egypt, e.g., they are our allies, and yet they all bow down to Mecca and Big Mo. So, what’s Trump doing trying to make peace (with the most war-like dictator on earth!) next week in Singapore?!? Just drop the bamboo curtain and tell Rocket Man to eff off?!? And, BTW, fool, Jordan and Egypt are NOT the total-Shariah types that Saudi & the Emirates are, and yet we’re long-time allies of Saudi Arabia! Go figure, eh? Well, if I said, “Oil,” would that help explain the obvious dichotomy between policy and religion? Diplomacy is what dictates all kinds of puzzling alliances and policies!

You don’t think Jordan and Egypt enforce islamic blasphemy and heresy laws? REALLY? Both countries are members in good standing of the OIC — an organisation seeking to impose islamic blasphemy and heresy laws on the ENTIRE WORLD.

The constitution of Jordan specifically forbids Jews from ever being citizens.
Egypt doesn’t persecute Coptic Christians? What fantasy world do you live in?

I don’t think you understand how the REAL world operates, Izzy! It’s one thing to support every country’s internal policies, but it’s an entirely different kettle of fish to maintain diplomatic relations even with countries with the most egregious internal policies! Even during the height of the Cold War, we maintained diplomatic relations with the USSR, and even today we have diplomatic and multiple business arrangements with China! Of course, the original question was how do we determine our “allies?” Well, for better or for worse, during WW 2, when we were fighting a common enemy, we were allies with Stalin, for God’s sake, and the USSR!! But now, in so-called “peace time,” we maintain friendly relations with Egypt and Jordan (in fact, even Israel – once their mortal enemy! – does the same today!) as an alliance against Iran!! It’s called “realpolitik” and it merely addresses global realities as a way to help maintain national sovereignty! It’s not always in our best national interests to dictate internal policies to other countries. We can suggest better behavior, but “my rights end where your nose begins!”

So why did the USA bomb Serbian Christians who were defending themselves against islamic imperialism and facilitate the islamic take-over and ethnic cleansing of Kosovo? Is that an example of your amoral realpolitik?

The US alliance with the USSR only came about because of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan attacking the US. Why are any free countries allied w/any totalitarian, theocratic muslum states again?

Joy Daniels Brower
Joy Daniels Brower

I have LONG decried the Clinton Admin’s immoral decision to bomb our WW 2 ally, Serbia – just to please the muzzies! Actually, he didn’t have much choice, ’cause his decisions were dictated, for the most part, by the globalist cabal, including Soros. Clinton was just a place-holder who got to play house in the Oval Office (anything to keep him happy to continue with the globalist/communist agenda!). Pam Geller wrote about this outrageous policy decision (to bomb Belgrade, Serbia, to force out and/or kill Milosevic, who was actually quite effective in fighting the muzzies in the part of Bosnia that was home to many Serbians for years!). But, of course, it was to further the muzzie agenda (actually, the globalists’ agenda to de-fang, if you will, the Serbs outside of Serbia).

Actually, non of this crap is MY “amoral realpolitik;” it’s just the way of the world. But, again, if we had a morality litmus test for all the countries of the world, we just might not find ANY country “suitable” for an alliance! But what Clinton did was NOT what the American people wanted, voted for or even (until after the fact) knew about it! And it didn’t even help out own cause, either!

Now, here’s a question for YOU: Based on YOUR sense of “morality,” should we even TRADE with countries that don’t believe as we do, let alone even follow the “Golden Rule?!?” That might be a case of cutting off our nose to spite our face!

IzlamDownpressesHumanity

Is material gain worth sacrificing your morals, freedoms and liberties for? If you consider muslums your allies and friends then it implies you share their values. Do you share the values of muslums? I don’t and I don’t call them friend either.

Are YOU the moral arbiter of the world, Izzy?!? Your posts are getting so pinhead and narrow-minded that I’ll not bother to respond further. Others (below) have already taken you to the “morality” woodshed much more successfully than I have done!

Your comparison to the alliance between the allies and the USSR and the present “alliances” between the dying atheist West and muslum states is incongruous. Because the USSR only threw in with the allies when Nazi Germany attacked them. The USSR deliberately signed a non-aggression pact w/Nazi Germany (see Molotov-Ribentropp pact).
I’m going to ask you one more time: If totalitarian, theocratic, religious muslum states are your allies who are your enemies? Or is it all down to who can bribe your rotten, corrupt politicians the most?

President Trump has not attended the White House Seders.

Joy Daniels Brower
Joy Daniels Brower

I was wondering if he had hosted a White House seder, but I’m neither surprised nor worried that he didn’t. His relationship with the American Jewish Conservative & Orthodox communities couldn’t be stronger; in fact, I’ll bet the store that the Orthodox community doesn’t give a fig about that; what’s much more important to them is his very open & positive relationship with Israel – and on that score, there can be little doubt where his strong loyalties lie! BHO put on these things for show; Trump does things for REAL!

I’ve thought about the guest list for the Muslim Iftar dinner, and I’m more convinced than ever that it was strictly a diplomatic thing and allowed him to interact with IMPORTANT representatives of Muslim countries with whom we always have to have diplomatic relations and effective connections. The religious aspect of the whole thing meant diddly-squat to DJT; and I think the Muslim reps & leaders knew, understood and appreciated that fact.

Joy Daniels Brower

Well, it’s entirely possible that he had to do/be something/somewhere else! But I seriously doubt that the Kushners would NOT have attended a seder – and, just as importantly, with HIS parents/siblings/children!! They are the “religious” Jews; whereas Trump would be, at best, the “shabbas goy!” Much like my late husband (NOT Jewish, but a practicing Christian) filled that role in the primarily Jewish neighborhood where he grew up on Long Island! Bottom line, however, is that Trump would not personally have to be at a less personal “White House” seder. Moreover, we Jews don’t give a damn, actually!

I will throw this out there for an EXCUSE. I think he is going to bring down the hammer on Iran. Saudi Arabia, Israel and other countries do not want Iran to have nuclear weapons. Saudi Arabia and Israel talk all the time… due to Iran developing nuclear weapons This could temporarily unite Muslims. It could put further pressure on North Korea. North Korea gets technology from Pakistan who also has nuclear weapons. North Korea shares this with IRAN and China more or less over sees North Korea.

That’s the best I can do with as an EXCUSE. I do not like Trump having this filth in our WH. BTW is there a guest list available? That could be interesting.

Trump selling out his supporters is bad enough, but the move is one of abject stupidity. It’s a lose-lose situation in not gaining him a single vote from the opposition, including Muslims, but alienating many of his supporters, who may not come out to vote, depriving Trump of critically needed support.

My suspicion is that Trump was deliberately given bad advice by traitors in his administration, possibly by the same individuals who leak confidential White House information.

Obama’s Iftar dinner guests was Valerie Jarrett’s Shiite Iranian delegation chanting death to america..

Trumps guests are Sunni members of the Israeli Knesset and other Sunni counries that approve of the Jerusalem Embassy move and want peace.

Although hardly the arbiter of freedom and human rights within its own borders , Saudi Arabia knows that peace in the surrounding region is less expensive and safer than war.
Peace, is the first steppingstone, the second step is prosperity and then the third step is to push for freedom and human rights within any Islamic country.

Iran theory is in reverse, the first steppingstone is to create wars around itself, the second step is to seize the war profit. and there’s no third step of freedom just a brutal police state that protects an oligarchy by terrorizing its own oppressed populace.

I’m not so anti-Trump that I won’t celebrate his good moves regarding the Middle East and Israel. I admit that even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. And I’m not a Koolaid-drinking Obama lapdog, either. Even a genuinely nice and really smart guy can make some incredibly wrongheaded decisions and try to throw Israel, and Western civilization, under the bus by romancing Iran at all costs. And, boy, did it cost.

By the way, what’s up with Trump continuing to fund the Lebanese army, which is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Hezbollah, and hence of Iran? Isn’t there ANYBODY out there we can trust to know what he’s doing?
