Judges in Paris dismiss rape allegation made against Tariq Ramadan by third woman

13

That this allegation was dismissed is not proof that it was false. The judges are under extraordinary pressure from Muslims worldwide to dismiss all the charges against Tariq Ramadan. The women who have accused him are extraordinarily courageous. Ramadan counted on their silence because of the subclass status of women under Islam. And he knew he had the power of the Muslim Brotherhood behind him — a ruthless machine that now has sent his first accuser, Henda Ayari, multiple death threats, requiring her to seek police protection.

Tariq Ramadan is a Muslim. He holds the same beliefs and attitudes toward women that the Muslim rape gangs in the UK and the Muslim migrant rapists in Germany and Sweden and elsewhere hold. This is the behavior toward women that Islam inculcates in men. Even a silver-tongued snake such as Ramadan can’t hide his true demeanor forever. His contempt for the West makes him all the more revered by leftist elites. He was an Oxford professor, and even after Ayari came forward, his position was not in jeopardy until an outcry required Oxford to put Ramadan on “leave.”

Ramadan was named by Time magazine as one of the seven religious innovators of the 21st century and as one of the 100 most influential people in the world, and by Foreign Policy readers (2005, 2006, 2008-2010, 2012-2015) as one of the top 100 most influential thinkers in the world and Global Thinkers.

How has the left elite handled these allegations? Largely with silence. So once again we see it: Islam trumps all — women’s rights, gay rights, Jews, Christians…. everything. Just look at how the media has treated jihad Tariq juxtaposed to their treatment of Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey and the rest.

“Rape-accused Tariq Ramadan appears before judges in Paris,” The National, June 5, 2018 (thanks to Patrick):

Judges in Paris have dismissed a rape allegation made against Islamic scholar Tariq Ramadan, his lawyer said.

Mr Ramadan appeared before judges for the first time in Paris on Tuesday after he was detained in February this year following allegations of rape made by two women.

Since his incarceration, a third woman accused him of raping her several times between 2013 and 2014 in France, Belgium and the UK.

Mounia Rabbouj, a former escort, alleged that Mr Ramadan raped her nine times in hotels in Paris, Roissy, Lille, London and Brussels.

Prosecutors had hoped to bring forward a third series of charges relating to Ms Rabbouj’s allegations but judges dismissed the claim on Tuesday.

The married Oxford University professor told the court he had had a consensual relationship with Ms Rabbouj, his lawyer Emmanuel Marsigny said.

“The magistrates considered, following explanations from Mr Ramadan and some documents that he was able to provide, that there was no need to investigate Mr Ramadan concerning the third woman,” Mr Marsigny said.

“He explained at length to the magistrates that there had been sexual games, that there had been sexual relations as well but that they were always freely consensual.”

Two other women have also accused the scholar of rape, including one Swiss woman who said he attacked her in Geneva a decade ago. A French newspaper reported that another woman in the US accused Mr Ramadan of raping her in 2013.

Mr Ramadan, who is the grandson of the founder of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, has denied the accusations from all five complainants, claiming they are part of a smear campaign by his political enemies.

Members of his family have spoken out against the scholar’s treatment. Mr Ramadan’s eldest daughter Maryam broke her silence on Monday, calling the proceedings a “media lynching”….

The only reason Tariq Ramadan is at Oxford is because he is a MUSLIM!
How many women must come forward before they are taken seriously.
It takes courage to come out against a filthy MUSLIM.
I am sick of the silence by liberals and feminists.

You should not be surprised feminists so called don’t give a fig about other women ,just their own agenda. to destroy the family. They want all women to be childless ugly and alone in their old age like Germaine Greer.

Me too, why has religion ( Islam) got to be used as excuse ! He has raped these women and that is that – he should be arrested put to court and charged with the crimes . You don’t hear other religious groups as we don’t go round saying we’re Christian Sikh Hindu Buddhists atheists no, were treated as who we are as people or persons charged with a crime with no mention of our background and it’s time people rise up and say ‘ enough of this fake islamaphobic nonsense and enough of treating them like the law our laws that we have to obey , Muslims are exempt

The first two allegations may well be true (as evidenced by intimidation of the first accuser – itself a serious crime). But if the dismissal of claims regarding the third accuser doesn’t mean a claim is false, what does it mean?

Could be that insufficient evidence was presented.

There are probably much more Muslim men like him, it is just that Muslim women are taught from a young age to be silent in respect for their male counterparts, even in the face of assault.
