U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has once again stood strong and tall for Israel before the global body.
Haley blasted several of its members for ignoring the terror acts of Hamas in Gaza. And then made clear that the U.N. resolution condemning Israel for “excessive use of force” was nothing but a farce, and the United States would have no part of it.
Haley has emerged as a true friend of Israel in recent times. She’s gone above and beyond the diplomatic role of her post to make sure the world understands: This is not the Muslim apologist White House of Barack Obama days.

Once again the United Nations General Assembly voted on a one-sided anti-Israel resolution. US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley blasted the member nations for ignoring true calamities around the world and for ignoring the role of Hamas in the Gaza situation.
The United Nations passed a resolution condemning Israel for “excessive use of force” in Gaza. Ambassador Nikki Haley would not let the nations of the world get away silently with this blatant anti-Israel resolution. She made sure they all knew about the true atrocities around the world they were ignoring. As well as letting them know about their anti-Israel “political” agenda, while totally ignoring the role of Hamas, the terror group responsible for all the terror!
“Israel appreciates the firm support of the Trump administration in Israel at the United Nations and Ambassador Haley’s resolute statement today, which exposed the hypocrisy of the bias against Israel at the U.N.,” he said in a statement.
Netanyahu added that “The unceasing focus of the United Nations in Israel shames the organization, it also diverts attention from other burning issues that require the attention of the international community”.
The anti-Israel vote passed by a vote of 120-8, with 45 abstentions. While that number outcome looks bad for Israel, it actually is great. 45 abstentions is the key number to focus on. That number of countries NOT voting against Israel is huge. That is a tremendous change, thanks to the new diplomatic direction of President Trump and Ambassador Nikki Haley.
But it was the next vote that it is the real eye-opener. Since the General Assembly resolution was one-sided against Israel, Haley introduced an amendment to make it more “balanced”. The amendment added by Haley condemned Hamas. Haley’s amendment passed by a simple majority of 62-58, with 42 abstentions. Never has there been a majority for a pro-Israel vote.
Because of a procedural ruling that a two-thirds majority was needed, that amendment was not adopted by the UN. However, again, the key is not the outcome. But the fact that 62 countries in the United Nations voted on something in support of Israel. Those numbers are unprecedented.

Yes, it is only you. Perhaps you should choose to seek out facts about the nation of Israel and the Falestinian people, whose goal is to try to kill Jews. And Hamas, who pays money to the parents of Jihadi’s who blow themselves up as martyrs, trying to kill Jews. You are entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts. When Falestinians try to fly burning kites over the walls and set fires in Israeli neighborhoods, and roll burning tires and slingshot stones into the Israeli neighborhoods, the nation of Israel is within her rights to defend it’s borders. If the nation of Mexico or Canada did the same thing to the United States, you can bet that there would be a strong military reaction.

I appreciate all the great work Nikki Haley does but I think it’s a futile cause. The UN has been a tool for tyrannical and fascist Islamic and Communists states since inception. It should be dissolved and turned into a League of Democracies. In all the years of its existence has it ever converted an Islamic or Communist country into a secular-democracy?
Why are we wasting time talking to our enemies who only have our destruction as their goal? Either end the UN or expel all non-democratic nations. Fascist regimes/dictatorships should never be treated as equal members to nations which are democratic.

Talking about futile, have you looked in the mirror. The face you will see there is clearly one that is ignorant of the facts and reality of what the issues are that face those involved in that region of the world. You obviously are not aware that Israel as well as other countries now existing in the area involved was created post WWII, and in most cases by the U.N. You refuse to recognize that the people of Israel immediately offered peaceful co-existence with those who were living there then, but those Arabs chose war, and on a number of occasions they lost each warlike action. Israel has become one of the most productive nations, while the Arab nations thrive in mediocracy. Instead of trying to emulate the state of Israel, these same people of the Arab world who are todays descendants, continue to insist on accusing those people 70 years later of being “occupiers.” How foolish can you be. You, and people like you are believers in a philosophy that is anti-Semitic and your brains have been poisoned by that belief system. You and those like you live in another dimension, never dealing with reality , but thinking always of blood lust. You and people like you are fools to the nth degree. I pity you and your kind.

Stealing your own land is actually impossible. When another country attacks you, and you defeat them, and take part of their land as punishment, the land is now yours, no longer the attackers. Or when the land given to you by the countries by agreement after WWII, it is yours, also. That Moshe Dayan gave some of it to the Falestinians as a peace offering doesn’t mean that the land was not yours in the beginning. There will be another war eventually in the middle east, with Israel on one side and several Muslim nations on the other. Of course, the U.S. will support Israel.
Nikky Haley has a bright future ahead of her, and not as just a second fiddle, but as a leader of some kind. She is certainly not a UN representative in the mold of a John Bolton. He was strong like her, but he was also too bombastic, and many times that was not the right way to deal with the issues of the day. Nikky Haley has a much better temperament for understanding just the right things to say, and just how harsh of a tone she can use to forcefully, yet respectfully represent our country and our interests in the UN. Because our nation is one of the most important in all of the world, and must be taken seriously.

I really do agree with you except I thought 90 days would give our delegations time to get out of their countries because they surely would expel our diplomats. Give the Marine Corp time to beef up the Security Guards to cover our diplomats withdrawal. Also give the press time to figure out their lies.
