Australia: Three KFC stores go full halal, refuse to sell bacon on sandwiches

112

If you’re an infidel who wants to get bacon on your sandwich in one of these stores, you’re out of luck. It isn’t enough for these stores to make halal products available to Muslims; they also have to impose Islamic law on non-Muslims as well. The supremacist character of Islamic law requires that non-Muslims must submit also — and at these KFCs, the submission is in full swing.

“How Australian KFC stores are refusing to sell bacon in their burgers – because they only use HALAL products,” by Peter Devlin, Daily Mail Australia, June 15, 2018 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

KFC has refused to sell bacon at three Australian stores to keep in line with Halal certified products.

Story continues below advertisement

A customer revealed the rule after contacting the fast food company about the lack of bacon offered at a store in Punchbowl, in Sydney’s west.

‘Why is bacon not available at KFC Punchbowl, NSW?’ Disgruntled customer Marc Miller‎ wrote on Facebook.

In response, KFC said the fast food chain’s stores in Punchbowl and Bankstown South in NSW, as well as a location in Fawkner in Victoria, don’t sell bacon to keep in line with other halal products.

‘Hi Marc, currently, the KFC stores at Punchbowl (NSW), Bankstown South (NSW) and Fawkner (VIC) have a number of products which are certified Halal and are available to customers from these stores only,’ the statement reads….

Best way people stop buying KFC, world wide and other companies that support Halal they can avoid.

Mostly likely you buy something one or more things a week that is Halal

It won’t matter….the only thing that makes these companies sit up and take notice is when their profits start shrinking…but even then….companies like Kellogg’s who donated a $million dollars to BLM who advocate killing law enforcement..didn’t even blink and instead closed plants when their profits took a dive……the Left are committed to going down with their causes…..because if they don’t…their own Libtard masters will make the pay.
Target….same thing….rather than stopping the policy of allowing perverts in the women and girls restrooms and dressing rooms….they just closed stores as their profits tanked…..I have not been back in a Target since Toilet-gate….nor have I bought anything online from them.
WE HAVE TO BE AS COMMITTED AS THE LEFT….

I did read the other part, mztore…..and I agree with you. Most Conservatives are Christians on some level of commitment….and we won’t be “mean” until it reaches dangerous levels for our family, friends, and community.

God built into our DNA self-preservation…it’s up to the enemy to “activate” the self-preservation gene …to some it’s threatening language…..to others it’s an overt physical attack…..

…right now we’re mostly in a stage of verbal threats by the Libtard Globalists….except for attacks by illegal immigrants and radical Muslims…most people here don’t feel personally threatened….yet….when it gets personal…that’s when you will see more and more resistance by the average American.

We here in Vegas KNOW that Paddock was Antifa trained by radical Muslims and aided by ISIS….and eventually our feckless FBI, Homeland Security, and local law enforcement…..I could give you a whole list of why and how we know that….but it’s redundant….

I now feel personally threatened by Islam and it’s followers….I now feel personally threatened by the hordes coming across the border…..so guess how I -and many others -are going to vote in the midterms….I think you know.

Tyson foods and other meat packing companies are hiring high numbers of Muslims….check Ann Corcoran’s REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT WATCH…she’s been tracking these “refugees” (invaders) for years and the organizations who “resettle” them here in the US….mostly Catholic and Lutheran…..for which they are paid to do with our tax dollars!
A couple of years back the FDA got lobbied by Canada and Mexico to quit putting country of origin on the meat packages…..our Beef industry in the US fought it, but the Libtards won. You don’t know where most of the meat comes from….

Most of the tuna now comes from China and other Indonesian countries….StarKist moved to China years back. I looked around and found Raincoast tuna. It is a product of Canada.

I challenge anyone to open a can of Starkist and a can of Raincoast for comparison….Starkist is mostly bits and pieces swimming in liquid….the Raincoast is solidly packed with very little fluid and the taste is incredibly better than StarKist.
Granted the Raincoast is $4.48 a can, but it’s solid tuna…..Starkist is cheaper, but you get far less tuna that doesn’t taste as good as Raincoast.

Everyone thinks tilapia is so great…in the Asian countries where it comes from they consider it a trash fish…..going through the Walmart freezers of frozen fish, 90% of it is from a foreign countries…it will cleverly say “wiId caught” in the Atlantic or Pacific…but in small print it will say processed in China….I’ve had to give up fish…except Tuna because…- I’ve seen the videos of how their fish is raised and harvested….

The pork industry also predominantly moved to China..the only shrimp I buy is from a company called BIG EASY in New Orleans….their shrimp is caught in the Gulf and processed about an hour out of New Orleans at their own plant and not more expensive than the other shrimp brands that are usually from foreign countries…..

At this point I’m not sure where to buy my beef, poultry, and pork….it’s a jungle out there.

How polluted would you say the Gulf is, the Atlantic is, the Pacific is? “They” threw thousands of barrels of radioactive nuclear waste into the Atlantic ocean, for years and years, back many years ago, and now we got the radioactive stuff from the Japan earthquake, polluting the Pacific, and the nuclear plant that died there, and how oil spills have been in the Gulf….and I could go on and on. I don’t eat any fish. You can get your Omega’s from different sources.

Please read Edith Efron’s The Apocalyptics for a discussion of the notion that molecules in the environment due to industry poison us and cause cancer and other illnesses.

It is an extremely fact-filled book, very dry, logical, and sober. But when you reach the last chapter and she wraps up with her conclusions, solidly based on the preceding chapters, wow, does the tone change. She lets fly with denunciations of the activists-in-lab-coats who are largely responsible for this idea.

Environmental cancer, like global warming, is an example of Marxist political science concocted to damage the economy of the West. It has little or no basis in fact. She focused on cancer in that book, but the same argument applies to other diseases.

Don’t have too much fish from the top of the food chain, and avoid the very top, and you’ll be fine. The mercury and other heavy metals concentrated in the flesh of the top-level predators is naturally occurring, and has also been found in the fossilized bones of fish that died in the remote past.

The principal of hormesis protects you from the harmful effects of poisons that are very dilute, such as current levels of radiation from Fukushima, as spread out over the vast Pacific.

Most people are more worried about who kneels at a football game and who doesn’t than where their food is coming from…..
I wonder what would happen if everyone just went silent on the Knee-gate crapola? In other words…all those vehemently commenting against it…demanding they stand at attention for the anthem….instead, just shut up…watch the game or don’t. Take your kids to the park, or fishing, or bowling, or anything else…..

What would happen to that Libtard “movement” if no one gave a dam…..just go silent. Don’t attend the game if you don’t want to pay their undeserved and bloated salaries or buy their merchandise…..how long would it take from them to get tired of “demonstrating”? Football stars are not known for having very long attention spans….
…it’s Freedom lovers’ resistance that continues to feed it….and the Libtards love it.
The whole thing is fueled by Libtards taunting Freedom Lovers…..what if you just walked away silently…..watch, don’t watch…just don’t make it an issue?
My Mother used to say: “As long as they know they’ve got your “goat”….they will never let go of the “rope.”

On one occasion in Ontario, Canada, in a Walmart store and while watching an assistant unloading the chicken broiler I noticed that she placed some in halal boxes, others marked ‘Barbecue’, so when she came to the counter I asked how she distinguished between halal and barbecue. She blushed and at first did not want to respond, then admitted that ALL the chickens were halal. I was infuriated at the dishonesty and took to task a manager who turned out to be ‘as thick as an Australian brick’ and could not understand my point view. Naturally I stopped buying Walmart chicken, not least because we can bet that all of it is halal. Not one of these companies has the guts to tell Muslims to go take a hike and that they can buy non-halal chicken.

This is an issue of FORCING ISLAMIC SHARIA on the populace.

If KFC refuses to serve pork based products to its customers it should label itself as ISLAMIC

Bacon is non-kosher food. You should NOT be eating anything unclean. The Bible specifically seems to point out one animal a lot. The PIG!

No, not Bill and Hillary, but the PIG. Scientist will say, like all unclean animals they are remarkably adapted to get rid of rotting carrion. And for those that say pigs eat grains now, A PIG is still a PIG.

However, that said, the choice should be left for the gentiles and heathens.

felix1999
felix1999

Our Jewish friends go by Old Testament dietary requirements since they have not accepted Christ as their Messiah. Christians are NOT under the Old Testament. So what does Christ say about eating pigs?

Does God require us to follow the Old Testament laws about not eating pork and other kinds of meat today?

The dietary laws for Israel recorded in Leviticus, chapter 11, which include, for example, a prohibition against eating pork, were given for specific religious and, perhaps, health reasons.

The New Testament, however, makes it clear that observation of these Old Testament food laws for religious reasons is NO longer required in the New Testament era. Jesus Himself declared that all foods were “clean” (Mark 7:14-23). It is from WITHIN that we are unclean and defiles us.

In Acts 10:9-16, Peter was informed by God through a vision that he was not to reject the use of certain animals for food on a religious basis. The apostle Paul also writes, “For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer” (1 Timothy 4:4).

The Bible makes it clear that “the kingdom of God is NOT a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17).

There is NO SAVING GRACE in either eating or NOT eating certain foods. We are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; see Ephesians 2:8-10. This, of course, does not mean that all animals we use for food are of equal value when it comes to our health.

Many people feel they can win God’s favor and have eternal life by following the dietary laws of the Old Testament. But this is a misunderstanding. You cannot save yourself—but Christ can, and He will as you commit your life to Him by faith.

Outstanding and informative post…1 thousand upvotes :0)

The only thing I would caution people about is look for country of either origin or where it was processed or packaged….if it ain’t America….don’t eat it.

Second, another good advantage of raising pigs on your farm or property…if we are overrun by invading, violent Muslims coming onto your property to kill you….you can just whip out the pig blood and throw it on them…..they believe they can’t go to Allah and Mohammed or get their 72 virgins if they have touched swine blood before they die…..

Matt 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

IF you are saved by grace eating a pig will not save you either. You have become like your forefathers still thinking eating and drinking will save you.

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

A pig is still a pig and your sin still remains on you, as well as your spiritual blindness.

Frankly, pigs are more intelligent than many humans! If Jews and others don’t want to eat them, that is their choice!

Oh contrary my friend. Jesus knew we could not keep the law which is why he had a plan since before the world began to save us 2 Timothy 1:9. When Jesus conquered death He made it possible for us to be saved by His grace and our faith. Jesus speaking through our apostle Paul states that He (Jesus) will put His law in our heart and will write them on our minds, Hebrews 10:16. So with our faith and grace of God we strive to please God by following Jesus’ commission, Matthew 28:16 the Great Commission.

“Romans 7:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
Hebrews 10:16, “I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”

So, you are Hebrew?
That is in the Bible…the Old testament…which says a lot of things that are violent to do that we would not do today. And Jesus said he came to change all of that…..
My daughter and son-in-law raise Red Wattle pigs…a very lean and good meat. I lived there for awhile…..they don’t give them any antibiotics, they are completely grain feed with no “carrions” to eat.
You have the freedom to eat whatever you want or not…..but so do we….and most Christians don’t follow the eating dictates of the Hebrews…..
That said, when I buy beef I like to buy Hebrew slaughtered beef because it is very humane how they are killed….God said he put animals on the earth and gave men dominion over them….he put them here for the nourishment of our bodies.
I won’t even describe for you here how Muslims slaughter meat….it’s very cruel and painful….like everything else they do.
Shalom……

In that particular area, probably more than 50%. A mate of mine used to live around there, and one particular demographic would even take over the local public park on the weekends. When he pointed out that public meant that it was for use by all, he got told to eff off. And the police could do nothing. Pretty sure if it had been him saying it to that particular group, they’d have very definitely managed to do something, such as lock him up for hate crime.

Really, you mean this situation would be resolved in the US by guns? What, you’d just have shot them? Hahahahaha. Yet funnily enough you have plenty of similar examples of similar verdicts and judges pandering to this particular group – even with guns.

Oh, and just to correct your “nasty government takes away guns from general population” narrative: they didn’t. Following a mass shooting 20 years ago, the government introduced a buy back scheme for gun owners. As a nation, we could see it made sense, so were overall happy to cooperate. You see, when we had one mass shooting that included women and innocent children, we all saw the sense in preventing a further such tragedy. Only when a grandfather shot his entire family 20 years later was there another mass shooting.

You guys prefer to allow mass shootings to happen on a regular basis, then offer your thoughts and prayers to the victim and wait for the next.

I don’t think most Western nations have gun rights, certainly Canada and Britain do not, I don’t know about Australia though.

People can legally own guns (eg farmers, or people who shoot at a range for sport). However, conditions are very strict, to the point that where our three-time Olympic gold medal shooting champion was caught driving his car with an unsecured gun, he was banned from shooting by the Association, and unable to go for a fourth gold medal. And we’re a nation that loves our sports!

There is a whole range of companies that support Halal, including meat and chicken companies. We have big problems in taking back and preventing Islam having control.

You are right, you can barely buy any lamb out of New Zealand and Australia that is not halal, so now I simply boycott their lamb. Even a can of corned beef can have the halal label. If it does it remains on the shelf. If a chocolate bar has the halal label, and some now do, it too stays on the shelf.

I have listed chocolates and meat/chicken so you know what brands to buy or not to.

Australians need to ban together to kick sellers not to sell Halal.

Now the invader Muslims are going after KFC? Chicken?

Slowly, but surely, we Freedom lovers are going to get healthier and healthier as we strike one fast food company after fast food company off of our list of places to buy fast food.
I quit Subway a couple of years ago because in some of their stores in the Northeast they quit selling sandwiches with ham to meet the demands of their Muslim customers…..
I ask you Subway, KFC, and others….what about your non-Muslim customers?

That would also mean KFC has halal chicken meat.

Those stores should be boycotted. The next thing KFC will do is make an area for praying to Allah and selling Korans.

The real war right now is one of culture. Our societies must choose between appeasing Islam and supporting the cause of freedom for all peoples.

Getting bad when people tell other what they can and can not eat… Some Muslims are known to eat human flesh and yet cry over eating bacon..This is a really bad thing… Time to stop these people who want to tell other how to live.. Like The Muslims wanting to take over all laws and cultures.

Why would anyone eat there anyway? Factory farmed chicken, in fact, all factory farmed animals, are given antibiotic shots (because they live in filth), hormone shots (to make them grow bigger…faster, and you wonder why YOUR GETTING FATTER??), AND are fed GMO (genetically modified organism, look it up) feed grain (corn mostly). NOW, do you want all THAT in your body?? Yum Yum, eat up America!!
It’s bad enough that 95% of corn grown in the US is GMO, and what is in your foods and drinks? “high fructose CORN syrup”!! (Oh, their changing the name of that now, since people are getting smarter about it) You drinking any kind of soda, your getting GMO’s. Look at your loaf of bread ingredient.. “high fructose Corn syrup” in there?? It’s in almost everything!! Why else would you find products that say, “no high fructose corn syrup”, on the front of the label. But this is just the tip of the iceberg…I could go and on. So what do you do? Eat and drink as much organic food and drinks, as you can. So many people want clean foods, that even Walmart, and Target are putting organics on THEIR shelves. BUT, you must learn about organics, sign up for organic websites, and get smart newsletters, that tell you who’s lying about being organic, and who’s not, and who’s switching sides with monsanto, etc etc. Get smart, get organics! You won’t believe how better you’ll feel, AND look! I should know…

KFC bombed when they stopped frying chicken in lard and went to Canola (Rapeseed) oil instead.

Hmm. Rapeseed — how ‘halal’????

Needless to say, I will never purchase another product from KFC again.

Maybe Canada is different but I cannot recall KFC ever selling any meat other than Chicken. No Beef, No Pork. Just chicken and a few salads. Do they sell hamburgers hot dogs etc in other nations. I have only been to KFC’s ( or PFK’s in Quebec ) and maybe 13 states. None in the states in the last 17 years. ( travel preventing disability ). My first though was they to my knowledge never sold meat other then chicken. I would think Halal meat would get PETA up in arms due to how it is slaughtered.

Seriously, folks, this is a tempest in a teapot. Nobody has a “right” to order bacon at any particular KFC franchise, even if it’s on the menu of the franchising organization. Each location is an independent business. Aren’t you folks in favor of allowing small businessmen to set their own religious standards and abide by them?

There is a kosher “dunkin donuts” near my home. They sell all the usual goodies that other DD locations do, except for the ham-and-egg breakfast croissants and such. If anybody walked in there and asked for one, and was told they don’t carry them, and then got all huffy about it, I would think that person was an idiot. Same here.

It is your right, as a consumer, not to patronize establishments whose politics you disagree with.

Just as (to cross-reference a separate issue that Ms. Geller discussed recently), it is the right of a public-accommodation establishment not to accept as patrons, those individuals whose politics they disagree with.

Personally, I think both approaches decrease the overall level of civility in society and thus should be reserved for truly egregious last resort.

And of course, matters like the BDS boycott of Israeli products are not based on specific politics of the retail establishment, but on the national origin of the products themselves, and thus do run afoul of the anti-discrimination laws in the US and many other jurisdictions.
