No interest in facts then, obviously. Just insults, using words you clearly don’t understand the meaning of. As you say, whatever. I’M not the one living in a country where a large number of the population are so scared they feel they need a firearm for protection. But whatever.

What countries are you talking about? You certainly don’t feed and clothe me. And there is no connection between the US military sticking its nose into every conflict it can in the world and any of its citizens being so scared of all its other citizens that you feel the need to own guns “for protection”.

You should leave your village for a little while and get out to hear what the civilised world thinks of the US. Oh, and the US military is not the reason I am able to live in a free country. I would suggest checking facts, but I can see that’s not your thing.

You do know that Japan is one of the most economically successful, technologically advanced and stable countries in the world, and Germany was pretty high up there until their leaders recently made stupid/suicidal decisions? And both countries even now are FAR safer than the US? Yet you apparently “rescued” the entire world, even though you didn’t give a flying f until the Japs bombed Pearl Harbour.

I have no idea what you’re talking about when you refer to ‘your favourite president’ , or who ‘they’ are.

So you initially sneeringly state that if the US hadn’t stepped in to save everybody, then I’d be speaking Japanese or German now, then when I point out that Japan is actually a pretty good place to live – you agree!

Is all this your attempt to distract from the fact that you actually have no answer to the FACT that western countries with gun control measures in place have a far, far gun death rate than yours?

Bzzzzzzzzztttttttttt wrong Eurotard. The US indirectly prompted the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor by imposing an oil embargo on JP (i.e. because of their invasion of China). The US was, at the time, the LARGEST exporter of oil in the world. US merchant mariners were being killed by German U-boats off the Eastern seaboard of the USA before Germany declared war on the US (i.e. because the US was supplying England w/raw materials). Furthermore the Lend-Lease program saw 50 US destroyers given to the RN and RCN before Pearl Harbor.

And because of America taking out Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein, it’s a lawless free for all in those parts of the Middle East that those dictators ruled with an iron fist, and a virtually unstoppable source of ‘refugees’ to Europe.

Not exactly a nice thing to do to so-called friends and allies, yet in your eyes the world should be grateful!

They do. You could no doubt give examples of every country in the world where SOME people disregard gun control laws. That doesn’t alter the FACT that the US has up to 10x the amount of gun deaths than any other western nation. You don’t have to believe me ( you won’t anyway, but instead of using reason, you prefer just to hurl insults as is typical of those who are not capable of using rational argument). But the facts are out there, should you choose to look. Why don’t you?

Except that in every country that has strict gun control laws, gun deaths are far, far lower than in the US, so it’s not like ALL ‘outlaws’ have guns. Which is all I said before all the mouth breathing knuckledraggers came out to defend their penis substitutes.

Facts. Try ’em. The US has the highest gun death rate of any civilised nation (I’m including the US in this category, although I’m not sure it qualifies under some definitions). Your gun death rate is higher than some countries that are at war!!! You’re the only country in the world that regularly has mass shootings in schools, including those countries where one sect is permanently at war with the other. The only western country that regularly has children accidentally shooting people with guns left lying around. Yet you’re all so scared of everything that you don’t feel safe unless you all walk around with some penis substitute with which you are able to kill anybody who looks at you the wrong way. And, biggest joke of all (to those of outside the US anyway), you’re proud of it!

Meanwhile, back in the real civilised world where gun controls are in place, yes some criminals have guns. Most don’t. Why? Because they’re difficult to get hold of. Those who have them are selective who they sell them to, they don’t want to be risking selling them to undercover cops. They’re very expensive, so petty criminals can’t even come close to affording them. Gun murders in western countries with strict gun controls in place don’t even come close to those of the US, kind of proving the point that even if “only criminals have guns” the murder rate is STILL much lower than in the US where anyone can own a gun.

very serious crime. As the Nazis were consolidating their power in the
1930s, there were two incidents where young male Jews, acting alone,
assassinated Nazi leaders. In Paris, a young man shot and killed a
German diplomat, and in Switzerland, the leader of the local Nazi party
was also fatally shot. After each incident, the Nazis used the Ministry
of Propaganda to demonize all Jews, and moved to restrict Jewish access
to weapons. The Paris incident became the excuse for sparking the
terrible “Kristallnacht” pogrom, where synagogues were set ablaze,

prohibited from possessing any types of weapons. They declared that Jews
possessing weapons would be subject to 20-year sentences in
concentration camps. In the nations and territories invaded and occupied
on Hitler’s orders, private gun ownership was punishable by death.

The Nazis also moved to control others who possessed weapons. Despite
protests, the government banned all voluntary “shooting clubs” (Schuetzenvereine)
in Germany. These clubs were popular forms of recreation across the
nation, and many club leaders opposed the ban and even expressed
objections to the Nazi government. As Hitler was rapidly centralizing
and broadening his powers, he dissolved all local and independent
shooting and sports clubs on May 10, 1933. Two weeks later, he created
the Nazi-controlled German Shooting Sport Association (Deutscher Schiesssportverband),
which became another mouthpiece for the Nazi government and, with war
on the horizon, a source of males already trained in marksmanship.

Is the horrible conversion of the Weimar Republic’s naively intentioned
gun registration and control system into an efficient instrument of Nazi
evil a cautionary tale for the United States? It is hard to imagine our
nation descending into a dictatorship, and the U.S. Supreme Court’s
affirmation of an individual right to weapons ownership makes such a
nightmare still less likely.’
