I don’t believe they fear Jews. They simply hate them and believe it is their obligation to eliminate all unbelievers with a special emphasis on the “people of the book.” Muslims seem to see it as doing their religions duty.

Referring to these so called left wing Jews as “capos, ” from my perspective is not only right on, but does not go far enough. After listening to these debates, one should be convinced that these people refuse to deal with the reality that exists. Using the term “occupier” is not only fallacious, but it places those who do so arm and arm with the Arabs who constantly claim the Israelis are occupiers without ever considering that those who lived there when the middle east was created by the U.N., and those who came to live there who survived the genocide of WWII, initially asked the Arab population to live in peace with the Jewish population, who rejected that offer, and instead made war on these people who were constantly under siege. Now these Arabs use their belief system as justification of their claim that the Jews must be killed off and that Israel occupies their land. That nonsense is just what it is: NONSENSE. These capos are spouting arguments that have no basis. They ignore the belief system that refers to the Jews as “apes and pigs,” and promotes and preaches death to all non-believers and especially the Jews. That they are even given a forum to make these fallacious statements anywhere is mind boggling. They are fools, who should be recognized as such by all right thinking and reasonable people. They disgust me!

Dennis, I generally respect your views, but calling Peace Now types “kapos” is a step too far for me. Kapos collaborated with the Nazis in the murder of men, women, and children, primarily, even overwhelmingly, Jews in an effort to survive themselves. As wrong-headed as I find these leftists, they are not doing that and I don’t think it is fair to say they are motivated solely to further their own interests. It is a false analogy and one not worthy of you or Pamela.
I would add that few people here can say with confidence what they would have done in the circumstances in which Holocaust era kapos found themselves.

The point of my comment was directed at those out there that believe that peace can happen between those who claim the Israelis are “occupiers,” who simultaneously use their belief system to castigate and predict the destruction of Israel and all its people. The expectation of “peace now” is fallacious and of no merit. I recognize that the Nazi’s forced many people into the role of capos, and that likely some who accepted and/or volunteered for that role might have thought that they could both save themselves and further some process to “peace,” but like the “peace now” fools they were wrong to a fault.

Muslims claim the Bible, Old and New Testament have been corrupted so it is false. Yes it is the familiar excuse that only THEY have the truth because that was based on ORAL tradition. So the Quran cleaned up the lies. Well there is more EVIDENCE even in secular material that what the Bible says is true and more accurate than the Quran.
The worst part of it is Muslims rely more heavily or ORAL tradition as the basis of their Quran with little to no evidence to support it. This wanting to create your own religion is nothing new. Mormons do it too. Jehovah Witnesses do it too. JW reject the trinity among other things. Today we have a shortage of real scholars that point this stuff out and most people really don’t read he entire Bible. But they’ll know all kinds of trivia that is pointless.

Great work, Pamela; Left-wing Jews, as I see it, are an abomination. Sadly, there are more anti-Semitic Jews than one would dare or care to believe. One of the most gobsmacking and repellent encounters with which I encountered was a Jewish Holocaust Denier. Most upsetting is the self-righteousness of the Leftist Jews and the alleged Progressives whose intent is not merely the vilification of Judaism but the eradication of worldwide Jewry and, needless to mention, The State of Israel.

We are in a World wide Islamic Cultural War or 1400-year-old Jihad.
We each see a different parts of it in the world and if you put all the violent parts together it adds up to only one cause: a 1400 year old Islamic Cultural War. It is the same as that joke of four blind men touching the elephant.

I believe many are missing and misunderstanding our problem, And its simple Solution.
Most American Jews are leftist. Many don’t even know it. They think leftist ethics and values are Jewish.
They believe that Israel stolen the lands from the Palestinians.
They believe that Israel discriminates against Palestinians.
They believe that Orthodox Jews in Israel discriminates against American Jews.
They believe that Israel started all the wars against the Palestinians.
They believe that Islam is a religion or peace.
Many Israelis in America believe their children will grow up and become secular Israelis but instead they become secular leftist Americans.
How do you fight BDS Movement and Anti Semitism when most Jews and Israelis believe the above excuses and make excuses or justify BDS and Anti Semitic actions?
For example: When I am attacked for having an Israeli flag on my car or wearing a Kipa or wearing a Star of David around my neck.
I get blamed for the attack?
It is the same as blaming a young girl for being raped rather them the rapist. This is what many Rabbis do when the read the biblical story of Jacob and his daughter, Dinah’s rape by Shechem, son of a Canaanite or Hivite prince.
We cannot change or influence Jews or Israeli views unless we deal with the above. But, approaching them directly causes resistance. So, it is best to approach it indirectly with something that does not cause resistance or less resistance.
For example, when I helped start the Chavar Movement here in California. Synagogues were failing the Jewish community. A movement started by doing Shabbat dinners and discussions groups. Where Judaism was taught under the table. Starting with songs, stories, simple prayers and good Jewish food.
I began the first public discussions on the holocaust or Shoah.
That is why the Israel Longhorn Project is the best way to unify the Jewish community.
Once unified it is far easier to get them to understand Israel, Israel history, Jewish History and our enemy.

Bravo Ms. Geller, not sure how you do it….I was shaking my fist at the screen (during parts w/Oppenheimer), who spoke/yelled over everyone…I know I am darn grateful we have you in our corner. For those who haven’t read her book, it’s a must read! Her story is fascinating, she has nerves of steel, ‘slaps’ leftists w/ facts and does it w/composure…Awe inspiring!

Ami Kaufman and his cowardly approach to taking charge as he should have must bear a great deal of the responsibility for that uncontrolled fiasco.
In any future such “debates” each participante should be ensconced in a separate soundproof booth.booth that would allow all sounds in but none out except through a microphone that can be cut off by a responsible, impartial moderator.

It was actually painful to watch & listen to the anti-Zionist leftists who simply refuse to believe reality: Namely, that Israel consists of all the land it was granted in 1948 PLUS the land that the Arabs forfeited when they attacked Israel first in 1948 and then, significantly (for the borders) in 1967. In war there are victors and there are losers. And, to the victor go the spoils – in this case land that had been controlled by Jordan (who forbade Israelis to travel and live in that land), but which had to be taken by Israel as a life-saving buffer from its neighbors – all mortal enemies, less anyone forget modern history!! And even the peaceful solutions to the “Arab” problem, offered by Israel, were rejected; hence, Samaria and Judea are LEGALLY under the control and are now definitely part of Israel proper. Gaza was, in retrospect, a terrible mistake on the part of Sharon and should never have been ceded to the Arabs. And anyone who’s not blind can see that that little strip of land has become a real “bete noir” to Israel. “Occupiers” can more accurately be defined by Hamas’ “occupation” of Gaza, officially under the control of the P.A., but, in reality, under the control of Hamas. But the ignorant world of regressive and anti-Zionist fools refuse to acknowledge that reality.

The older guy with the glasses is about my age, we should BOTH remember how whining and crawling as supplicants to the Arabs on those occupied Jewish territories for 50 years since 1967 has not ensured peaceful co existence but continued bloodshed.
In my book, it pays to work with the grain of human nature, and the grain in too many Arabs is to listen to Hamas / Hezbullah and act out their hated in murdering every Israeli they can find – now OR tomorrow.
The present Israeli PM is doing the best job I can remember, he inspires confidence in me because he sees the world as it is and not like the stupid left, as it OUGHT to be. As long as the country believes in itself and understands they have NO future in compromises with the Islamic centuries old mandate to order their destruction – Israel should prosper, through strength and confidence.
