Turkey’s European Union Affairs minister, Omer Celik, sent out harsh criticisms against France for that country’s proposed removal of some versus of the Koran.
France suggested the action as a means of dealing with its rising Muslim-based terror situation.
Celik, however, called the recommendation “bigoted,” similar to members of ISIS.

Yes, that’s how Celik sees the notion. And as Jihad Watch’s Robert Spencer writes: “Al-Azhar didn’t react positively, either. Yet neither Al-Azhar nor Turkey’s EU Affairs Minister Ömer Çelik acknowledged that anything in the Qur’an could be used to incite Muslims to violence, and that is the core of the problem. Pretending it doesn’t exist won’t make it go away, or obviate any need to deal with it.”

Turkey’s EU Affairs Minister Ömer Çelik on May 6 slammed a French manifesto proposing the removal of some verses from the Quran, saying those 300 prominent French figures demanding the changes were as “bigoted” as members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) who infer violence from the holy book, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.
“This is the most striking example of intellectual violence and barbarism. Whoever these people are and whatever they have been doing up till now, they will be written at the beginning of the history of bigotry,” Çelik said on Twitter.
“Barbarism is intellectually and politically centered in the modern world,” he added.
Çelik drew parallel between the “barbaric and immoral” proposal and the ideology of ISIL.
“They could not tell in a better way that they are the closest ideological relatives of Daesh. But this approach, which will be the subject of political psychiatry, reveals how barbarism has risen in the midst of Europe, and how this mentality, at least as dangerous as Daesh, keeps itself behind certain concepts,” he said, using the Arabic name for ISIL.
“These are the most dangerous ones; those who conceal themselves behind an intellectual and political image. This is the mentality of those who are so-called anti-violence, but in fact they worship the bigotry and violence. These 300 French figures are the same as Daesh which infers violence from the humanity’s guide Quran,” Çelik added. …

Here are a few samples of the passages that the turks support and encourage. There are 109 subhuman demands made by mutgonad, police beat upon him.
Quran (8:67) – “It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he had made a great slaughter in the land…”
Allah did not only command the ‘fighting’ of disbelievers, as if to say He only wants us to conduct frontline operations against them. Rather, He has also ordered that they be slain wherever they may be – on or off the battlefield. (source)]
Sahih Bukhari (52:177) – Allah’s Apostle said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.”
Sahih Bukhari (52:256) – The Prophet… was asked whether it was permissible to attack the pagan warriors at night with the probability of exposing their women and children to danger. The Prophet replied, “They (i.e. women and children) are from them (i.e. pagans).” In this command, Muhammad establishes that it is permissible to kill non-combatants in the process of killing a perceived enemy. This provides justification for the many Islamic terror bombings.
