I was taken back many years with these simple FAB videos!! i wish i could say that I heard Roy Orbison in person, but I did see k.d.lang when she first started out and played gigs in the US as well as Canada. She was always fabulous -in a small club in Seattle (!!) and then, a few years later, playing a live show in an old legit theater (but by then she had gained quite a following). I wonder what she’s doing now? Of course, Orbison left us many years ago, but he left behind some amazing songs, recordings & videos that will live forever!

I had never heard of K.D. Lang before she sang with Roy Orbison. She has a fantastic voice and complements his great voice.

Hearing her again on these videos was a wonderful experience! Yes, indeed, she had (and may still have!) a fabulous voice that amazingly blended with Orbison’s voice & music. It was almost as if she discovered another side of her terrific talent in her working and singing with Orbison. But her androgynous look had become even more pronounced as she got a bit older. Wonder how she looks now and is she still singing? I haven’t kept up with her or her career.

And Islam would ban all these great singers muscians songs
Think about a world without the beatles, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Blondie, Paul Anka, Tom Jones, Rolling Stones, Led Zepline. Roy Orbinson, Steve Miller the list is endless
And the left are assisting

Yes, can a ‘culture’ without music really call itself a culture at all?

And the Left have taken to leading rather than just assisting, whenever they can.

I can’t imagine having great music!
Islam allows NONE of this. It is a sterile, bland existence. There is no joy, love or freedom. The arts would disappear.

Some great tunes here.

Also: Connected really quickly again – haven’t tried for a while because the delay was way too intrusive.

Glad to be back.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE TALENT… ONE OF THE BEST OF ALL TIME…

Was on his way to a major comeback in 1988…but cut short by a fatal heart attack. You Got It was released posthumously (Orbison only got to do one promotion in Belgium for it before he died).
