White House Examining Plan: Regime Change Iran

48

The long stretch of anti-Americanism and anti-freedom authoritarianism of the Obama years are dead and buried. The long wait was worth it. Obama betrayed the Iranian freedom revolution of 2009. The people of Iran begged for our help; instead, Obama aided and abetted the murdering mullahs. But President Trump is exceeding our wildest expectations.

How great that America is back to being America…..

The regime change plan seeks to fundamentally shift U.S. policy towards Iran and has found a receptive audience in the Trump administration, which has been moving in this direction since John Bolton—a longtime and vocal supporter of regime change—entered the White House.

White House Examining Plan to Spark Regime Change in Iran

White paper pushes bid to help Iranians topple already weak hardline regime

By Adam Kredo, WFB, May 10, 2018:

The Trump administration is examining a new plan to spark regime change in Iran following America’s exit from the landmark nuclear deal and reimposition of harsh economic sanctions that could topple a regime already beset by protests and a crashing economy, according to a copy of the plan obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The three-page white paper being circulated among National Security Council officials in the White House offers a strategy by which the Trump administration can actively work to assist an already aggravated Iranian public topple the hardline ruling regime through a democratization strategy that focuses on driving a deeper wedge between the Iranian people and the ruling regime.

The plan, authored by the Security Studies Group, or SSG, a national security think-tank that has close ties to senior White House national security officials, including National Security Adviser John Bolton, seeks to reshape longstanding American foreign policy toward Iran by emphasizing an explicit policy of regime change, something the Obama administration opposed when popular protests gripped Iran in 2009.

The regime change plan seeks to fundamentally shift U.S. policy towards Iran and has found a receptive audience in the Trump administration, which has been moving in this direction since Bolton—a longtime and vocal supporter of regime change—entered the White House.

It deemphasizes U.S military intervention, instead focusing on a series of moves to embolden an Iranian population that has increasingly grown angry at the ruling regime for its heavy investments in military adventurism across the region.

“The ordinary people of Iran are suffering under economic stagnation, while the regime ships its wealth abroad to fight its expansionist wars and to pad the bank accounts of the Mullahs and the IRGC command,” SSG writes in the paper. “This has provoked noteworthy protests across the country in recent months.”

Jim Hanson, SSG’s president, told the Free Beacon that the Trump administration has no appetite for U.S. military intervention in Iran, but is very focused on efforts to rid Iran of its hardline ruling regime.

“The Trump administration has no desire to roll tanks in an effort to directly topple the Iranian regime,” Hanson said. “But they would be much happier dealing with a post-Mullah government. That is the most likely path to a nuclear weapons-free and less dangerous Iran.”

One source close to the White House who has previewed the plan told the Free Beacon that the nuclear deal, also known as the JCPOA, solidified the Iranian regime’s grip on power and intentionally prevented the United States from fomenting regime change

“The JCPOA purposefully destroyed the carefully created global consensus against the Islamic Republic,” said the source, who would only speak on background about the sensitive issue. “Prior to that, everyone understood the dangers of playing footsie with the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism. It’s now Trump, Bolton, and [Mike] Pompeo’s job to put this consensus back in place.”

Bolton is said to be acutely aware of the danger the Iranian regime poses to the region, the source said.

70% of the population is pro-choice, time for anti-abortionists to wise up and get with the times. Also no babies are killed in abortion, 99% are performed in the 1st trimester when it’s a tiny ball of cells and later only if the mother’s life is threatened.

There is a heartbeat by day 21, give or take a day. Babies (human beings) are killed in abortion…(it is obviously not kittens being aborted). While many women seem to have no regrets, MANY other women suffer physical and/or emotional trauma and lasting consequences from abortion.

I have no particular wisdom to bring to bear on this issue, but I do consider heartbeat to border on the irrelevant. I think neural development might be much a much more pertinent consideration.

Were fetuses from miscarriages ever given last rites by the Catholic Church?

What does the Catholic Church have to do with it? Do you think that Catholics are the only ones who care about children being murdered?

It’s nothing but cells doing basic biological functions and it take 8-9 months to fully form a baby, until it becomes viable outside the womb it is a clump of cells. Better to abort then to let it become a dumpster baby. You guys still haven’t learned-if you make abortion illegal it doesn’t mean it stops, people will never stop having sex, condoms are not perfect, there will always be rapists.

You get too fixated on having a baby and not on all the other conditions that it takes to raise a child or if it’s a product of rape/incest. It is childish to ignore all other reasons for having an abortion and focusing only on your own desire to force women to have babies they don’t want. It doesn’t affect you, it is a decision for the woman only.

Imagine there was a fire in a lab with a one-day old baby and a petri dish with 100 fertilized (implantable) eggs and you only had time to save the dish or the baby, which would you choose? The answer is pretty obvious and should inform you that a cell is not the same thing as a baby.

“It’s nothing but cells doing basic biological functions…” How do you KNOW it is “nothing but cells”… where in this 9 month process did Rick Reynolds become Rick Reynolds?

All of us went through this same process to get here. It seems rather important to understand precisely when(?) in this process the “cells” become a human being. Yet pro-abortion, forgive me, pro-choice advocates never define where that point is…

Ya but if you’re never going to get pregnant, what’s it to you? Do we need to have one billion more mouths to feed? Earth’s population is about to go to 12 billion and 4 billion will be in Africa. How does that make any sense when resources are limited and billions are already starving?

That’s the trouble with anti-abortionists, you focus on simplistic ideas at the expense of all other arguments and reason.

That tiny ball of cells is a defenceless human being, a future citizen. She has a right to breathe and a right to live. Even her own mother does not have the right to pluck her life out. Allow her to live, grow and lead her own peaceful life in this world. After 20 years she would be a fully grown, beautiful and intelligent woman.

A ball of cells has no rights, no conscience, no brain, nothing. It takes a good 8-9 months to turn from cells into a baby. Stop living in a childish fantasy world-most girls who get abortions are poor, can’t afford a baby or were raped, or the condom broke, etc. Banning abortion simply makes it go underground, you get more dumpster babies, back-ally abortions and women dying from botched operations.

We have 330 million Americans, 7 billion people worldwide and that’s going to skyrocket. Resources are limited to feed everyone. The trouble with you anti-abortionists is that you live in a tiny bubble and you refuse to consider you could be wrong. If you were right, why is it that 70% of the population disagrees with you?

You were brainwashed into being anti-abortion, now start using your brain for once and think outside your little box. All you’re doing is parroting dumb outdated ideas spewed from pulpits by people who think the best ideas were invented in 33 AD. We’ve advanced far beyond that, time for you to get with the times.

You know, the thing that makes me really angry at people like Reynolds is that they cannot see that those little lives probably include great artists, scientists, philosophers, statesmen and women…that every baby aborted potentially takes away a part of us all.
I would feel sorry for him if I had a hint he deserved empathy as much as the tiniest aborted baby. The arrogance and perfidy of claiming that abortion is in any way a good thing is in itself heartbreaking and at the same time enraging.

No most likely those kids would be born into terrible circumstances to crackheads, welfare moms and would turn into psychopaths, criminals and drug-abusers who will lead a life of pain and suffering. They’d be better off not being born but I know reality is a difficult concept for people like you whose minds are full of unicorns, rainbows and butterflies.

I could give you scenarios of real-life sob stories of abandoned babies who lead horrible lives, but you don’t care about that. You just want to ram your beliefs down women’s throats because you’re a bully, much like the Muslims. But fortunately you are only a loud but small group of extremists that most people don’t pay any attention to or would want to associate with.

“Fallacious”? Based on what? Here are the stats that you need to educate yourself on. In fact the numbers who want to keep abortion legal is even higher than I initially stated 78% based on a Gallup poll. Those who want to ban it are only 18% so you are definitely in the minority champ.

So the reality is that our group is a lot bigger than angry little hatemongers like you.

Send them to their “Allah” and their 74 devils early. Bombs, napalm etc. don’t care about whether they’re fanatics or not.

Well its good news that the US admin wants regime change in Iran but unless you can back it up with military force it’s nothing more than wishful thinking. Are Iranians supposed to sacrifice their bodies while the Mullahs mow all their opponents down with AK47s, tanks, metal chains, clubs and so forth? They’re not just going to quietly step down because we told them to-they know it is a fight to the death.

There are only 2 ways the regime can be toppled, either by direct US military intervention or if the Iranians are given tanks, guns and other weapons to do it themselves. Also this time don’t make the stupid mistake of arming another ISIS Muslim faction as was done in Iraq, Syria and elsewhere. You need to arm the pro-US, secular forces only or it’ll become another Islamic terrorist state.

It will be tough for there to be a change of regime in Iran. For this change Iran has to go from being the Islamic Republic of Iran to just being the Republic of Iran. For this to happen a large part of the population of Iran needs to protest and revolt against the present Islamic government. It would take another revolution like the 1979 revolution. These positions in the Iran government would have to go. One is the position of Supreme Leader, the Assembly of Experts, the Council of Guardians, and the Expediency Council. These sections in the Iran government form the structure of their Islamic Government.

Just consider this. When the US Embassy was stormed, that was an act of war. Moreover, ireene actually declared war on the United States of America. I know of no treaty that was signed. Therefore, ever since Jimmy-the-Worthless-One Carter, a state of war has existed between the US and ireene.
We need to get this thing over with, .and NO rules of engagement. “War is hell”.

I don’t think it would hurt to start a radio station Radio Free Iran broadcasting in Farsi and other languages and letting the people of Iran know that if their fanatical religious leaders were gone and they relinquished there quest for regional domination they could be part of the global community and very prosperous. They need to hear about and consider that alternative reality. The US should not militarily intervene in Iran, but let the Iranian people know that the change must happen from within and with the exception of military intervention they will get US and global support.

The Iranian people need a secular leader to unite them..A lot of Iranians are expressing a desire for the Shah to come back…The Shah must be the figurehead only and Iran have a parliament…But if the US can find a relative of the Shah, whose is secular and pro West, and let it be known in no uncertain terms that US would back this leader, that would be a start. Use the internet to start an anti-mullah campaign would also be a start.

The Negro was a long line of Demoncraps that love to spread communism and despotic rule in TURD world countries. They also wished it on Americans.

I think Trump proved we have been bamboozled by our lying politicians for decades to keep you in fear of your “made-up” enemies so that Demoncraps could put a BOOT on your neck.

I think the truth should come out that Demoncraps hate humans. They do not like you. They really do wish misery and human suffering on you. Their MO is to lie to you. They like wars because they get to KILL you.

I would like to see these evil creatures hanging from light poles coast to coast, as they are unfit for anything else.
