Why don’t the organizers of the Cannes Film Festival raise the ISIS flag next to the “Palestinian” flag? They stand for the same things: jihad, Jew-hatred, warfare against unbelievers, the supremacy of Islam and sharia. If Cannes is planning to glorify one jihadist entity, why not another? These leftist elitists have no idea what evils they are aiding and abetting. But that doesn’t make them any less culpable.

(AFP) – The Palestinian flag will be raised next week at the Cannes film festival, which will host their first ever national pavilion.

Film-makers said the new level of representation in the international village of the prestigious festival was a significant step for the fledgling Palestinian cinema industry.
The pavilion, one of around 70 representing countries from across the globe, will give Palestinian film-makers an opportunity to pitch their work to top international industry executives.
Mohanad Yaqubi, one of the co-founders of the Palestine Film Institute, said it was a significant moment.
“Almost every year Palestine has a film selected in Cannes but until now we didn’t have an official presence there,” Yaqubi, who is also a film-maker, told AFP.
“Industry-wise it is very important to have a presence… (to) network at an industry level,” he said in English.
The pavilion will be mostly funded by the Palestinian ministry of culture, which declined to say exactly how much it invested….

Well, the film glitterati is of the leftist/Marxist persuasion, rabid anti-Semites, anti-Christians, Democracy and the Judaeo/Christian principles from which Western Civilization evolved; hence it is no shock that these self-righteous weenies back and sponsor Palestinian terrorism and propaganda. It will come back to bite these self-anointed elitists when the Palestinians no longer need their shallow voices. Palestinians are predatory; they will chew-up these gullible Leftist munchkins and spit them out without a word of thanks.

Making threatening gestures with knives has long been par for the course with Palestinians focusing hatred on Jews and Israel. Israelis, long accustomed to it, just shrug it off. No other non-Muslim/Arab group would stand for it.
