Judge rejects Mueller’s request for delay in Russian troll farm case

11

Here’s the thing: this “Russian troll farm” case is minor — it’s all about $100K in Facebook ads. Do the Democrats really want us to think that their candidate was so weak that she was beaten by $100k in ads? Seriously?

Outside influencers and foreign agents have long been welcomed by the Democrat party. George Soros has done more to change elections than any one person or organization in recent memory. How many hundreds of millions has George Soros spent to influence foreign elections? Soros once said that removing President George W. Bush from office in 2004 was the “central focus of my life.”

The left shrugged at the millions in foreign contributions to elect Barack Hussein Obama. I documented thousands in donations. No one cared. All the evidence is in my book: The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration’s War on America (Simon & Schuster, 2010).

Not only should Mueller resign, but the whole leftist manufactured investigation against President Trump should be shut down.

“Judge rejects Mueller’s request for delay in Russian troll farm case,” by Josh Gerstein, Politico, May 4, 2018 (thanks to Van):

A federal judge has rejected special counsel Robert Mueller’s request to delay the first court hearing in a criminal case charging three Russian companies and 13 Russian citizens with using social media and other means to foment strife among Americans in advance of the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

In a brief order Saturday evening, U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich offered no explanation for her decision to deny a request prosecutors made Friday to put off the scheduled Wednesday arraignment for Concord Management and Consulting, one of the three firms charged in the case.

The 13 people charged in the high-profile indictment in February are considered unlikely to ever appear in a U.S. court. The three businesses accused of facilitating the alleged Russian troll farm operation — the Internet Research Agency, Concord Management, and Concord Catering — were also expected to simply ignore the American criminal proceedings.

Last month, however, a pair of Washington-area lawyers suddenly surfaced in the case, notifying the court that they represent Concord Management. POLITICO reported at the time that the move appeared to be a bid to force Mueller’s team to turn over relevant evidence to the Russian firm and perhaps even to bait prosecutors into an embarrassing dismissal in order to avoid disclosing sensitive information.

On Friday, Mueller’s prosecutors disclosed that Concord’s attorneys, Eric Dubelier and Kate Seikaly, had made a slew of discovery requests demanding nonpublic details about the case and the investigation. Prosecutors also asked a judge to postpone the formal arraignment of Concord Management set for next week.

The prosecution team sought the delay on the grounds that it’s unclear whether Concord Management formally accepted the court summons related to the case. Mueller’s prosecutors also revealed that they tried to deliver the summonses for Concord and IRA through the Russian government, without success.

“The [U.S.] government has attempted service of the summonses by delivering copies of them to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Russia, to be delivered to the defendants,” prosecutors wrote. “That office, however, declined to accept the summonses. The government has submitted service requests to the Russian government pursuant to a mutual legal assistance treaty. To the government’s knowledge, no further steps have been taken within Russia to effectuate service.”

Mueller’s team sent a copy of the formal summons to Dubelier and Seikaly and asked them to accept it on behalf of Concord Management, but Dubelier wrote back on Monday saying that the government’s attempt to serve the summons was defective under court rules. He did not elaborate….

No delays, deficate or get off the pot. This delaying technique is getting to be annoying, it is not going to result in the entire mess being dropped. Now, on with the show.

The entire “investigation” by Mueller’s million dollar machine was actually provided to them by an article about these Russians and their plans to learn how to use social media to influence foreign citizens regarding Russian interests that appeared in Der Spiegel (spelling?) in 2015 that even named most of these players. The real news, unlike even Republican claims against Obama’s inaction, is that their activity was too insignificant and ordinary to do anything about it. And most of their “propaganda” (according to FB’s own study) involved issues and not candidates, such as being anti fracking, anti pipe lines, anti off shore oil drilling and pro Paris Accord (they were even involved in organizing the protests)….not hardly helpful to Trump. if anyone was willing to lie to finger Trump it would be these guys (even part of their mission), if they could ever be extradited to America. They might even volunteer to come after the plea is fixed. Before the election, just the Trump and Hillary campaigns bought 92 million dollars in FB ads, and it was completely about them. This Indictment was all show and no go.

The KEY to all of this is and has been the Closet Swamp Rat Jeff Sessions…..he lied and deceived President Trump, pretending to be supporting him in the election when all the while he was a plant by the DEEP STATE…..Sessions is the “manchurian candidate” of the DOJ…..
I base these statements purely on what is self-evident from the getgo on how Sessions maneuvered his way into favor with Trump….then promptly recused himself from the Russia phony issue the minute he was confirmed. Not one word of warning to President Trump…nothing.

Who does that? Answer: Deep State saboteurs.

If Sessions was all he pretended to be….this would be a clue that he wasn’t….or that he had an aneurysm after being sworn in and needs to be fired and sent to some mental facility for medical attention…

Stop and think about it…….did Sessions get the same treatment from the Left that all the other conservative appointees got?

He wasn’t smeared mercilessly, he wasn’t accused of any sexual misconduct by the Left like all the others….there wasn’t a whimper from the Left outside of the obligatory rumblings at the confirmation….

Until President Trump fires him -which is in his power to do – this Mueller Carnevale of Deception and Treason will continue……

Jeff is the Key….now turn him into an unemployed taitor that he is….and put someone in there that will do their job to get rid of half the Deep State sitting in those offices and collecting tax payer money to try to bring down a duly elected President of the people…..

If Killary had won and she had put someone in there that turned out to be not a Leftie…..they would have already had an “accident” and someone put in there that would do her bidding….no matter how illegal or unconstitutional….

Great rant. I LmA off. Believe me I want to agree with you. I can’t understand why when a person takes over a cabinet position. Isn’t he the boss? Fire everyone in sight and start over. It’s simple really. Happens in the private sector all the time.

This is the second instance in a week of a Federal Court reining in Mueller’s investigation. I am appalled by the Trump Administration, but Mueller’s tactics and goals don’t seem much better.

If Trump’s administration “appalls” you, you must still be cringing from the obama debacle and the possibility of having another bandit named clinton as president.

I just love it when trolls come on here and say how “appalled”, upset, cringing….any negative thing they can say…..yet not one description of what “appalls” them…..a blanket indictment of President Trump……
….who has done nothing….while millions and millions of dollars are being sucked up by treasonous people….and our Nation’s business being subverted and stalled thanks to Mueller, Rosenstein, RINO Ryan and McFool McConnell failing a refusing to stop the crapola….now that’s what is “appalling”…..

Mueller’s “tactics” are pure Deep State to get rid of Trump… his “tactics” can’t be “better” because they are born out of getting rid of a duly elected President with a Deep State, Coup……by illegal, treasonous acts of those put in their by Obama to do just that if Killary wasn’t elected.

At this point, the only thing I’m “appalled” by is that Sessions is still in the DOJ….hopefully, for not much longer.

He is part of clinton mafia so going after Trump with fake cases . Clinton mafia still active after Trump takeover as they kill another witness to email investigation http://tinyurl.com/y8p9cv5l

They know their hold overs in FBI / DOJ /NSC will help them out !

Unless they are totally purged including Left/Liberal judges not involved in the cases
to keep out their bias …its uphill task to prosecute them.

You are absolutely right, Suresh. The Clinton Mafia is behind the plot to usurp Trump. There are others, too, Obama, Soros, the FBI, DOJ, as mentioned. I cannot figure how or why the fetid, insipid, and inert Jeff Sessions remains the Attorney General. Yes, until this cabal of subversives is purged nothing will change. The witch hunt will continue. This band of traitors has been enabled by the inner-sanctum of the government, its agencies and others embedded by the Clinton, Obama mobsters.
