Jerusalem to unveil ‘Donald Trump Square’
Ahead of opening of US embassy in Jerusalem, city renames square next to facility after President Trump.

Just days before the opening of the new American embassy in Jerusalem, the Jerusalem municipality officials renamed a city square after President Donald Trump, in honor of his December 6th declaration recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and ordering the relocation of the embassy from Tel Aviv.
The US embassy is set to be relocated from Tel Aviv to a facility currently used by the American consulate in the neighborhood of Arnona. The opening of the new embassy will take place on May 14th, coinciding with the Gregorian calendar 70th anniversary of Israel’s establishment.
n honor of the event, the City of Jerusalem renamed a square near the embassy-designate after President Donald Trump.
On Tuesday, Mayor Nir Barkat signed off on the decision to name the spot “America Square In Honor of President Donald Trump”. The change had been earlier approved by the city’s naming committee.
The city will hold a special ceremony at the square following the opening of the new embassy.
“President Trump decided to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish people,” said Barkat, “and to stand on the side of history and truth and to do the right thing. Naming this square in honor of President Trump is Jerusalem’s way of showing our appreciation of the president and the people of the United States who stand by Israel’s side.”

Very well done! I have always had the utmost respect and admiration for PM Netanyahu for doing as well as he is over there, I really do. A country the size of essentially the state of New Jersey, surrounded on all sides by enemies sworn to obliterate them and they stand defiant in the face of ALL of that! What’s not to love and respect about that? I grew up in New Jersey and believe me, we highly respect and admire a man like Netanyahu! 🙂

Well actually they are currently not extraditing a sexual predator , Malka Leifer to face charges fof child rape. So they at least have some tolerance for sexual oddities.
And it seems everyone else is interested in The Stormy, Donald liaison . And more so the Russian porn tapes of Donald in Moscow.
Forget Debbie does Dallas, the best one is Donald does Moscow. Coming to a court near you.
I wonder if the next Hurricane in US could be named “Stormy”/

We assisted Britain during WW2. we helped them survive.

You almost bankrupted Britain with your “assistance” which arrived two years later than it should have.
Just as in WW I you waited for three years before joining in the fray.
In both wars you profited hugely and cost millions of civilian and military lives, including thousands of brave Americans, on both sides.
