Former Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper has added his name to a full-page ad in the New York Times with a message to U.S. President Donald Trump: “You are right about Iran.”

The ad, titled “Mr. President, you are right about Iran” in bold letters, is signed by Harper, former Australian prime minister John Howard, Nobel Peace Prize winner and former Northern Ireland first minister David William Trimble, and other former politicians and writers, including John Baird, former Canadian foreign affairs minister.

The A5 ad ran Wednesday, a day after Trump announced the U.S. is pulling out of the landmark nuclear accord with Iran.

“Iran is a danger to us, to our allies, to freedom,” the text says. “We stand alongside you in ending the dangerous appeasement of Iran and making all and any action required to stop Iran going nuclear, help its people, halt its spreading of terror and achieve peace and stability in the Middle East and among all peoples and nations.”

Harper’s government suspended diplomatic relations with Iran in 2012, expelling diplomats and closing the embassy. The Trudeau government campaigned on a promise to restore diplomatic relations with Iran, but talks are frozen pending the release of dual Iranian-Canadian citizen Maryam Mombeini.

Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland said Harper is entitled to express his views.

“This is, though, an opportunity for me to be very clear that the government of Canada’s position is that we regret the U.S. decision on the [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.] We believe the JCPOA is an important and useful agreement,” she told reporters in Washington.

Freeland said she spoke to her U.K. counterpart, Boris Johnson, Thursday morning about a path forward to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.

After the horror of Obama, I have empathy for Canada. Little did we know Bush Jr., Bush Sr. and Clinton weren’t much better. Reagan was our last America loving patriotic President. Trump has exposed them all for what they really are.

Before Harper, I’d have to say that the last PM Canada had that was a patriot, was perhaps Mulroney in the early 80’s.

Mulroney was another “Eastern Establishment” type . . . . last two Canadian Patriot PMs were Deifenbaker and Pearson . . .
Trudeau, Mullroney, Chretein and Martin . . . ALL worked for Power Corp in Quebec?
Imagine how the insane media, especially the marxist CBC would have reacted if they had ALL been Southern Baptists . . . lol

True. I wasn’t too keen on everything he did, but, he did love the country, and had a nightmare to tackle left over from PET.

PET was the traitor who removed the power of money creation from the Bank of Canada and “gifted” it to Canada’s 5 biggest banks. Here is a young Canadian explaining the fraud:
http://worldwideponzicollapse.blogspot.ca/2012/05/are-you-smarter-than-canadian-seventh.html

Then, there’s the matter of allowing Quebec to use the tyranny of the majority to override the rights of the (english-speaking) minority. A quote from the scumbag:
“Don’t expect me (a French Canadian), to defend your (English Canadian) rights”

And he tackled it by spending more money . . . . as did the Cretch . . . until Canada was about to collapse in the late 90s . . . .

Mulrooney promised much during his campaigns . . . deliver almost nothing !
Although the Canada/US free trade agreement was a step in the right direction . . . . adding Mexico later was a mistake.

Trudeau Jnr. was/is a monstrous mistake for Canada. I was there when he was elected and told all my pals and relations my opinion at a big dinner party. They jumped on me from a great height (what do YOU know) etc. etc. I know many people in Canada having been innumerable times over years. Despite having long term friends and close relations Canadians are not very nice (self-satisfied) people. They are sure to get the message sooner or later when the Muslims get going. I can’t wait

Unfortunately a very accurate assessment of most, but not all, contemporary Canadians. I long time ago knew a different Canada, but today most cannot stomach criticism of the country and ‘bristle’ mindlessly at legitimate criticism. Thus self-criticism or introspection has become foreign to the general Canadian temperament and it’s the reason why most Canadians dislike the admirable University of Toronto’s Professor Jordan Peterson. As I’ve said before, today most labour under whole array of self-created, self-flattering illusions that conflict with reality, so “self-satisfied” people is common. It’s fed by a really poor media and politicians who endlessly spout national self-congratulations. I remember some time back on a tv show host in Canada very surprisingly commenting on the general “complacency and apathy”, this the result of endlessly being told ‘how wonderful you are’. And now to show how wonderful they aren’t they elected Justin Trudeau as their prime minister and ‘leader’, made the disgusting Kathleen Wynne premier of Ontario, Rachel Notley premier of Alberta, and other mediocrities premier of other provinces.

I’m in Alberta, and I can tell you that those of us who had escaped a previous NDP government from another province, were raising the warning flags as loudly as we could. Unfortunately, dumbasses prevailed, and they now see how stupid they were. The NDP will be decimated next May. They are that hated.

Rob Porter

After I graduated at UBC, the brilliant voters BC voted in Dave Barret’s NDP who made such a mess that the province took a decade of more to recover – after they were booted out after one term. Then in an act of remarkable brilliance the nincompoop voters of Ontario voted in Bob Rae’s NDP that devastated the economy. You’d think that people would learn, but no, because they were fed with the disgraceful Redford they voted in the mindlessly stupid Rachel Notley’s NDP. As they say, you can’t make this stuff up.

I escaped during the Vander Zalm years right before Harcourt was elected. I still can’t believe that they thought that the NDP would govern differently in Alberta because it is the home of oil, and that they understood that. The NDP has a 100% success rate at devastating every single economy they have ever touched.

Rob Porter

The trouble is that the Liberals are barely any better than the NDP. In Ontario Dalton McGuinty proved a total incompetent and horrible liar who in regard to sex education evidently considered himself a totalitarian dictator. So the voters replaced him with incompetent and liar Kathleen Wynne, who thinks that because she is a homosexual every child should be taught to think the way she does on this matter. Like McGuinty she has lied endlessly over the electricity mess, terrible waste of money, and lied when denying that a convicted sexual pervert was the primary architect for her sex ed curriculum.

I was disappointed with Harper over a few things, not least failing to shut down Canada’s disgraceful Human Rights Commissions kangaroo courts and doing nothing about Canada’s non-existent abortion laws, but there were so many other things of which I approved that it’s a great pity he’s not still pm. Compared to Harper, Trudeau is just a shameful imbecile.

About 55% of Canadians are in the “Free Stuff” category. They vote for handouts and govt largess. The Maritimes has been hopeless for decades, Quebec not much better and Ontario is now an indebted terminal basket case.
Solution may be for the West to LEAVE . . . and the sooner the better. All Socialists could be offered a one way ticket east !

Rob Porter
Rob Porter

Great comments. Hit the nail on the head. Remember the fuss when Harper disparaged the Maritimes for wanting hand-outs? Then Quebec is a waste of time. Astoundingly corrupt and so is the Federal system that supports it. Remember years back the government invited tenders for servicing and repairing Air Canada planes? A Winnipeg company put in the best tender, but was awarded half the contract while the other half was handed to a Quebec company. Then tenders were invited for building navy ships. Irwin in New Brunswick
actually won the contract, but was awarded half the contract while the other half went to a Quebec company. If Bombardier were in any province other than Quebec it would have failed and been out of business years ago.

Trudeau “Christians are the worst part of Canadian society”

MAR 31, 2017by JEWS NEWSin DIASPORA

Previous postNext post

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau brought more than 30,000 refugees to Canada over the last year and half , mostly refugees who fled war torn countries like Syria.

Most of those refugees were Muslims, some reports say 99 percent of refugees that came to Canada were Muslim.

Why didn’t Trudeau bring Christian or Jew refugees to Canada who fled rape, beatings and many more sufferings, Trudeau seems to hate Christians, he says: “Christians are the worst part of Canadian society” WATCH
As Christians are the worst part of Canadian society, it would be wrong for any Christian to vote liberal.

Trudeau is a pathetic – an irresponsible little boy. How Canadians elected this effeminate little court jester is beyond comprehension. One thing is clear. Patience is running out with the leftist campaign to destroy western civilization, in America, in Canada, and in Europe. Leftists that support the destruction of our civilization should be clearly identified as targets – the time for pretending we can compromise with people who intend to kill us is over. Any nation that allows itself to be destroyed without fighting back is a nation of cowards, who deserve to be destroyed. The Leftist enemies of America and western civilization must be KILLED, or they will kill us. It is time to step up to what needs to be done, and stop pretending this is some kind of abstract argument. The threat is real and your life and the lives of your children and grandchildren are at stake.
