Embattled FBI Officials Lisa Page and James Baker RESIGN amid treasonous revelations in collusion investigation

32

It took them long enough. The heads should be rolling fast and furiously. They thought they could go quietly during the Friday night news dump cycle.

Lisa Page, the FBI attorney who exchanged vicious anti-Trump text messages with Peter Strzok resigned on Friday. That is not all she was exchanging with McCabe.  Michael Horowitz, the DOJ’s inspector general,  is expected to release a report this month that will focus more heavily on Strzok and Page. Strzok was sent to the FBI’s human resources division after his removal from the Mueller team.

DCF: Page has faced months of scrutiny over the text messages, which she exchanged with Peter Strzok, the former deputy chief of the FBI’s counterintelligence division.

Story continues below advertisement

The exchanges show a deep hostility to President Donald Trump at a time when the two officials were working on the FBI’s investigation into possible Trump campaign collusion with the Russian government. Some of the texts show Strzok and Page cryptically discussing how to proceed with the investigation, which was opened on July 31, 2016.

“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office — that there’s no way [Trump] gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk,” Strzok wrote to Page in an Aug. 15, 2016 text referring to then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

“It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40,” he added.

“OMG THIS IS F***ING TERRIFYING,” Page wrote to Strzok on Election Day, Nov. 8, 2016.

“F Trump,” Strzok wrote in another text.

The Justice Department’s office of the inspector general discovered the biased text messages as part of the watchdog’s investigation into the FBI’s handling of the Clinton email investigation.

Page and Strzok also worked closely on the Clinton probe.

As the FBI’s No. 2 counterintelligence official, Strzok oversaw the FBI’s investigation into possible Trump campaign collusion with the Russian government. On the Clinton email investigation, Strzok conducted interviews with Clinton and her top aides.

FBI Officials James Baker and Lisa Page Reportedly Leaving the Bureau

by Josh Feldman | Mediaite, May 4th, 2018

A view of the J. Edgar Hoover Building, the headquarters for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), on May 3, 2013 in Washington, DC.

Two senior officials at the FBI reportedly resigned earlier Friday.

According to The New York Times, the two officials leaving are James Baker––who was the FBI general counsel until last December––and Lisa Page. Both of them worked closely with James Comey when he was director.

Page you may recognize as the FBI official who infamously exchanged text messages with Peter Strzok that came under scrutiny after some anti-Trump ones were uncovered months ago.

Baker, meanwhile, came under scrutiny for potentially “sharing classified information with reporters.”

The Times says they’re both leaving for unrelated reasons:

Mr. Baker said in a telephone interview that he would be joining the Brookings Institution to write for Lawfare, its blog focused on national security law.

“I love the F.B.I.,” he said. “I have tremendous respect for the bureau — the F.B.I. was great, is great and will be great.”

Why aren’t these people in jail? Why is Mueller still in charge of an investigation instead of the subject of one? Inquiring minds want to know.

There are many honest dedicated patriots who work for the FBI. That is an outrageous statement

They said the same about the Nazi, the Stazi, NDK, ect.
Evil is evil.
When an organization employs police state tactics & does not protect the nation or public, it has outlived it’s usefulness.
The FBI has dropped the ball so many times in the last 9 years, it is not stopping terrorism or mass shootings when the culprits are handed to it on a silver platter.
From the Boston bombing, Orlando shooter to Parkland.
The FBI was in the next car back when the jihadi’s went to Texas to kill Pam..
There was no warning to the local cops either.
They didn’t make any effort to stop the attack, the local cops stopped the massacre.
The FBI knew-and did nothing.
Even the Uranium One deal, the FBI facilitated the sale, Comey himself delivered Uranium samples to Moscow when he knew the Russians where running a scam of bribery, intimidation & blackmail here in the USA to grab American uranium while we had 2 (two) carriers sidelined in port with no funds to refuel their reactors.
The FBI was conspiring to remove Donald Trump from office before Americans even voted.
Can you tell me what the hell an FBI “insurance policy” is?!
Dallas maybe?!
Who the hell do they think they are?
The FBI whored itself out to the DNC.
If we executed Benedict Arnold and the Rosenbergs, some of these traitors need to fry also.
This is not amusing antics of cute saxophone player, an amateur R&B singer, or some sweet lesbo granny.
It is High Treason.

I have dealt with the fbi and I have yet to find anything but trash. Would you care to name ONE example, out of your “many honest dedicated patriots”? If you cannot, then cease lying.

5-6-18 Just pushed the NPR button on my radio and in 3 minutes got an avalanche of anti Donald Trump 3000 lie, small hands & Pee jokes.
Of course there was the usual roaring laughter back track.
It is nonstop throughout all media.
You can not get away from the anti Trump mania.
Yet, Trump’s polls refuse to sink.
The totalitarian media has 100% lost credibility worse than Pravda ever did.
Worse than that they have moved into the absolutely offensive vulgar zone.
I can’t wait for advertisers to realize they are wasting their ad money.

The point is that if this person is hiring and firing is anyone monitoring this process? Who is being hired and WHO is being fired – are potential witnesses being put beyond the reach of the IG?

I do NOT believe for one nano second that Page and Stryk were having an affair. That is just a COVER to keep investigators out of their PERSONAL emails. If there were this sloppy with government emails, imagine what transpired in private and WHO they kept up to date on their corruption and latest lies to be told. Have you ever seen a government email indicating a steamy affair? NO! Just unbridled HATRED for Trump.

Since when do we give potential criminals PRIVACY? Was it granted to Manafort when they broke down the doors to his home at 4 am in the morning or Cohen when they took the doors off the hinges at his office and temporary apartment also without notice of warning when he had been cooperating? Of course not!

Agreed about there being no affair. When did they find the time what with generating a gazillion text messages. When did they ever earn their paychecks?

All part of clinton mafia so going after Trump with fake cases .

Clinton mafia still active after Trump takeover as they kill another witness to email investigation http://tinyurl.com/y8p9cv5l

They know their hold overs in FBI / DOJ /NSC will help them out !

Unless they are totally purged including Left/Liberal judges not involved in the cases to keep out their bias …its uphill task to prosecute them.

Look at those photographs above and tell me what is so great about the present-day FBI. Consider James Comey’s adolescent behaviour after being fired. Consider prize ass, Andrew McCabe. Consider the bizarre, hysterical and coarse language of Page to Strzok: “OMG THIS IS F***ING TERRIFYING,” Page wrote to Strzok – and this is mature, rational discussion! You’d think that Josef Stalin, Ayatollah Khomeini or Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov – otherwise known as Lenin – was about to be visited upon the U.S., but then, this pathetic lot would probably welcome Lenin. These are infants playing FBI agent 007. The FBI needs to be turned on its head.
