This is a breaking story and details are sketchy. But it was deliberate, and vehicular jihad is called for by ISIS and other jihad groups. The witness below who says the perp looks “Middle Eastern” indicates what is likely, but not 100% certain, to be going on here.

AT least nine people are dead and another 16 injured after a van mounted onto a pavement in Toronto, Canada.
The speeding white rental ploughed into pedestrians for up to a mile leaving a trail of bodies and blood along the busy north-central part of Canada’s largest city.
Eyewitnesses spoke of their horror as elderly residents and a woman with a baby stroller were thrown into the air by the speeding vehicle just before 1:30pm local time (18:30 GMT).
Cops arrested the driver several blocks from the incident along Yonge Street and Finch Avenue after a furious stand-off which saw the suspect wrestled and pinned against a police car.
One eyewitness told CNN the driver appeared to have been targeting people.
He said: “This person was intentionally doing this, he was killing everybody. He kept going, he kept going. People were getting hit, one after another.”
Another said he saw people “strewn all over the road” after the Ryder rental truck mounted the pavement.
Another claimed the driver appeared “in control” of the vehicle as it hit pedestrians.
According to Newstalk Toronto Paramedics confirmed nine people had died as a result of the attack.
Cops have not yet established a motive for the attacl.
The incident happened 18 miles from G7 ministers, including Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, meeting to discuss terrorism and cyber security.
A Toronto police spokesman said: “At this point it’s too early to tell what if any motive there was. We are also unable right now to tell the extent or the number of persons injured”.
Buildings and workplaces in the surrounding area have been put on lockdown while nearby subway stations were closed.
Cops have since cordoned off the southbound lanes of Yonge Street and have urged locals to avoid the area.
According to CBC one eyewitness said he had seen at least four bodies lying covered on the ground.
One eyewitness told a local reporter “He was in control of what he was doing, he knew what he was doing from what I can. I was in shock but from what I can tell that’s what he was doing.”…

Ali Shaker is the guy they interviewed who was following the van the whole time. His story was weird and made no sense. His sorrow seemed very fake. Could he have been the ‘getaway’ guy for the van driver? Was he there to be sure it ‘went through’ ? They should really investigate that guy.

Canada, under the Boy King, Trudeau, has learned tragically that Canada is not immune to Islam’s malevolence, hatred and inherent need and want for mass murder. I wonder if the truth will unfold as it should or if the authorities will use the German playbook, ‘we are not sure of the motive.’ My thoughts go out to the victims and their loved ones.
The truth must be told but Canada like other Western, once upon a time, democracies will continue to mollycoddle, placate Islam while secreting the truth of its evildoings and intent. The leaders, however, will fear backlash, Islamophobia, more than the murderous terrorism perpetrated upon its citizens today.

I am truly sorry for this horrific tragedy, but I hope it will help people realize that ours is NOT a safe world.
Muslim terrorism is a very real and very serious threat, and denying or downplaying it in any way, shape or form will only threaten our children’s future.

Is it time that we stop excusing these incidents as being caused by radicals within the Islamic world, and start concluding that the belief system which is Islam is a mortal danger to all of us in the free world.Though most people who follow the belief system that is Islam are likely not violent, the reality is that ths belief system promotes and preaches that to comply with its teachings and reach “paradise,” believers are expected to commit horrible acts of violence against non-believers; conduct, which in my mind, leaves me with the conclusion that those who follow the belief system that is Islam should not have access to free world nations unless a foolproof vetting process can be devised. Right now, and throughout history we have learned that these believers cannot assimilate into free world societies and cannot live harmoniously with non-Muslims, but rather seek domination and consider themselves Aryan’s, referring to non-believers as apostates. Since Islam’s teachings is the underlying problem, it has no claim to be allowed into free world societies, and it should be strictly controlled. We will never be able to stop this abominable conduct, unless we stop being “politically correct” and accept the propriety that being Islamophobic is based on definite reality, a reality that establishes that this poisonous belief system has no place in free societies. I believe it is that simple to deduce.

I’m sure Braton is right. Once the PM Trudeau extricates his head from his favorite orifice, the truth will be turn into propaganda, assuring Canadians ‘this is not Islam’. Canada has been led to believe that it is immune and that Islam is the religion of peace, not the Cult of Terrorism. S& B has a good Reputation. In fact a Gun Shop owner told me that
when some of the American Manufacturers were running behind that they
would have their Ammo made by S&B. Which Brand gave you the Squib
shot? I do know that many of the foreign ammo manufacturers use Hard
Military Type Primers that do not ignite well with striker fired
pistols.

The squib shot was caused by some Fiocchi ammo. I have never used S&B but have tried reloading their shell casings and found them to have undersized primer holes, small enough to ruin a new primer.

That surprises me, I thought Fiocchi was supposed to be pretty good. Not all of it was made in Italy. Fiocchi either changed the way they package their product or they were taken over by another company/ Thanks or the Info as I got some 7.62 Fiocchi and will be very cautious whin i use it..

When i got a .41magnum I had to reload so that I would be able to shoot more for less money and have a better selection than the only two loads that were offered by both Remington and Winchester. Being that most cases have solid rims, you should be able to ream out the primer pockets on the S&B. This one guy I know accidentally had a squib he reloaded. He woa lucky that he caught it. My Chiropractor accidentally fired a 10mm in a .45acp. He is lucky he did not blow up his gun.
