Night of terror for Christians in Cyprus after attack of Muslim migrants

35

What had the Christians done to “provoke” the Muslim migrants? Absolutely nothing. The migrants attacked them for the crime of being Christian. This is the future of Europe, as well as of Canada and the U.S., if the left gets its way and we continue to be inundated with Muslim migrants. There is no reason to believe they will behave differently here from how they have behaved everywhere else. President Trump is trying to stop the migrant flow, and is excoriated as a “racist” and “bigot.” This story shows the reality.

“Night of terror for Christians in Cyprus after attack of Muslim migrants,” Voice of Europe, April 7, 2018:

Wednesday night, about 20 Muslim migrants attacked a Christian congregation outside St. Mary’s church during the holy liturgy in Leukosia, Greece’s Pronews reports.

Story continues below advertisement

Most of the Christians were inside the church when 20 Muslims suddenly arrived at the temple’s yard and began screaming, cursing, and beating the attendees.

According to statements given by locals at Sigma live news, one of the Muslims was waving an adze and tried to use it against members of the congregation. The Muslims disappeared after the police, called in by the terrorized believers, appeared on the scene….

Screaming, fists in the air, anger. See that picture above. How many times do we see similar pictures? What in God’s name is the problem?
I do wonder at how facility of travel over the decades, and the information/media explosion of recent years, have impacted matters.
The past was by no means perfect, but it was much better than now in several respects. Our poor descendants shall have quite a time of it.
I am sometimes persuaded that we would not be where we are now, if we had not left our churches, not that they were perfect either, but there is something to a tie that binds.
Yikes, I find these angry, screaming pictures to be absolutely grating. God gave us beauty all around us, such possibilities for joy, simplicity, in our brief, bitter lives, and we don’t get it, you know, humanity as a whole.

What are the Cypriot men doing? Are they truly helpless against this onslaught, this ongoing brutality?

The Cypriot men need to take up baseball, if you catch my drift.

“Well officer we had a game scheduled for after services and were forced to drop our gloves to defend each other with these bats”. Guns would be better but sometimes one must make do…

These muslum vermin are no doubt Turks backed by the Turkish puppet government that invaded and stole 40% of Cyprus in the 1970’s.

I don’t think Greeks allow their citizen to own guns so they can’t use OVERWHELMING FORCE on EVIL.

Sorry, about dat……

Greece has strict gun control. Shotguns (limited to 3-round capacity), rifles and handguns are allowed, and these require a licence issued by provincial police. To purchase handguns and rifles, citizens must either have a concealed-carry permit or a target-shooting permit (for rifles). Semi auto rifles are prohibited. Hunters can own up to 10 shotguns and sport shooters can own up to 7 guns, and there is no license-check or record kept for ammunition purchases for shotguns but target shooters can only own 500 rounds per weapon.

That’s for law-abiding citizens. What about the non-law abiding ones? 😉

So where is the tolerance I have been told about, the notion that we can all get along, despite our differences? When my relatives emigrated to a new country, they had jobs and sponsors, they had undergone health assessments more than once, they went to work immediately, they asked nothing from their new country, they took classes to learn the language of their host land, and they pledged their allegiance and fialty to the new country. What did Pres. Theodore Roosevelt say about the duties incumbent on immigrants? What do they owe to their host country?
It seems to me the left would wish this matter to be a one way street, benefitting the immigrant, but common sense dictates otherwise.
I have seen on the Net, the frantic pleas of a Greek woman pleading for help on the unmanageable influx of refugees flooding her country. The damage they have and are causing. She says the indigents are the victims.
Why is half the world turning over into the other half, just what is going on? Are there mass wars everywhere that we have not been informed about?
Economic catastrophe? Where are the millions/billions of dollars given by western countries to the rest of the world that should have been used for hospitals, schools, and social programs? Do we give all this money to foreign governments without expectations? Do these come to the west for all the free stuff they shall receive, we are expected to care for all the world? Is this a tax? I do not comprehend where it says that we who have respected the laws of our land, and paid taxes, that we must be forced to pay for everyone else. Why have not people stayed in their own countries, and attempted to fix them?
If their countries were so grand, why have they come, or invaded? For it seems clear that they do not wish to be peaceful, or to acclimate.
Large shifts in populations, as what is happening in many parts of the world now, could be seen as acts of war, or at least the forerunners of such plans.
These do not seem like the immigrants we were familiar with. Where are the thanks, the gratitude, the civility, and decorum, the allegiance?
And was not Turkey given billions to assist with the “refugee crisis,” although that is not a fix either.
It seems to me that many leaders have failed us, the consequences are more daunting and more serious than the majority realize. You shall see.

Treat them the same way that we would creatures that are FAR superior. When you discover a nest of rats, or a building infested with cockroaches … You call Orkin. Same treatment for the vilest of ALL creatures (moslems) … Bring in the exterminators.

What does ‘FAR superior’ mean in your sentence? Makes no sense….

Something can be slightly superior, it can me moderately superior, or greatly superior, as in FAR superior. To capitalize, solely one word, denotes “special emphasis added”. That capitalization was utilized in pleas and prayers to the court, prior to word processors with bold face type or italics.
I take it the English Is not your mother tongue. When two or more adjectives, or adverbs, are utilized together, they are referred to as compound modifiers.
That is something that is normally covered in second or third grade, primary school. For your own sake, if you continue your ATTEMPTS (special emphasis added) to utilize the English language, I would highly recommend a remedial reading comprehension course.
This is friendly advice, offered to you, so you won’t continue to humiliate yourself.

It’s Erodgan’s continued warfare against Greeks/Christians since the fall of the Ottoman Empire. The Muslims are back and they are seeking a Global Caliphate again. Trump/US, Europe need to treat Turkey and other Islamic states as our enemy.

I include Russia as well since it’s Putin who’s been selling them advanced weapons and building nuclear plants in Syria and Iran, while China has been buying up their oil and have blatantly ignored sanctions placed against these countries.

Turks, Muslims should now be expelled from all western nations or things will get very ugly. Europe/Canada does not have a 2nd Amendment so most people cannot defend themselves (with guns) and fight against the Jihad that is coming like clockwork.

Did he ever say anything about the Desaparecidos of Argentina? One should try to right or at least acknowledge injustice.

I wish to add that a child I was very concerned about, she had been abducted from her parents in Syria, she has been found. You know whom I mean. I did not know, but I just checked the NET to see if there was more info. on her. She was found by Iraqi forces and returned to Christian mother after three years. I weep for joy, and am overcome with emotion. Sadly her blind, elderly father, and one brother died of starvation. I saw the look on her mother’s face now that the child was returned. It pierced my heart.
I shall now pray that the child will acclimate, and that she and her mother live a long, joyful life. The child speaks only a few words for now. May love heal her. God is merciful.
Something positive, something positive.

God’s people have suffered terribly. She will need time to heal. I am sure her mother will do all possible to facilitate that and love her even more. Love is a key ingredient for healing.

Sorry to butt in on your conversation. If you can find a few minutes I would appreciate just a little bit more info on the deaths by starvation. I assume it is related to our wrongheaded persecution of Syria, and the US support of “moderate militants,” who are Al Qaeda in Syria re branded with a new name. It is all so heartbreaking, and I also rejoice that the daughter is found.
