Pope Francis suggested the way to end all wars and usher in a world of peace was to outright ban all weapons, from all around the globe.
Isn’t that how a toddler might think?
He put out the ridiculous thought on Twitter.

If someone hits someone else over the head with a volume of Pope Francis’ statements, will that volume, too, have to be banned?
In this age of advancing jihad and ongoing Muslim persecution of Christians, for Pope John Lennon to be making statements such as this one is the height of irresponsibility, and worse. Pope Francis is working actively to ensure that as many Catholics as possible are ignorant, complacent, and unprepared in the face of the jihad threat. He is betraying his people, and the free people of the world, as well as those who yearn to be free.

This Pope is a strange man. His ideology seems to be socialist/Marxism/communism. Those begin with excluding God to replace it with Government as the people’s panacea and idol of worship. He has done more harm to the Catholic religion than is being realized. He is the Obama of the Vatican. I’m not sure which has caused more harm in the world, and I’m not sure either the US or the Vatican will survive as it had been known. Their damages run deep.

As a man of peace and Prince of the Church, I expect the Pope to lead by example, I expect him to move to a culturally enriched area rife with peaceful muslims and walk everywhere or catch a bus, he can scrap the guards and pope mobile, he surely won’t need it.

The Catholic Church is the first Christian Church. Still is. Catholics are the first Christians. Still are. The Catholic faith is not a denomination. It is the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church that Jesus Christ founded himself. All denominational churches are man made religions created by men. Dig back into your family history. Not hardly. The church was born on the day of Pentacost. The first converts were Jews. There was no such thing as Catholicism until Constantine centuries later. The church was doing just fine until the pagans were allowed to bring all their tools of worship in. Something Paul warned the Corinthians about.

Pope Francis is a creature of Argentina, once one of the wealthiest countries in the world and now a third world nation. Corrupt, and evil, doing business with the Nazis in the 30s and 40s, and supporting Marxists in more recent years. One of the only democratic countries to actually attack another democracy, and it got its arse kicked. I am redirecting church donations to political action donations in order to save our freedoms, including the freedom of religion that he is effectively undercutting.

Murder and homicide rates before and after gun bans
Every place that has been banned guns (either all guns or all handguns) has seen murder rates go up. You cannot point to one place where murder rates have fallen, whether it’s Chicago or D.C. or even island nations such as England, Jamaica, or Ireland.
For an example of homicide rates before and after a ban, take the case of the handgun ban in England and Wales in January 1997 (source here see Table 1.01 and the column marked “Offences currently recorded as homicide per million population,” UPDATED numbers available here). After the ban, clearly homicide rates bounce around over time, but there is only one year (2010) where the homicide rate is lower than it was in 1996. The immediate effect was about a 50 percent increase in homicide rates. Firearm homicide rate had almost doubled between 1996 and 2002 (see here p. 11). The homicide and firearm homicide rates only began falling when there was a large increase in the number of police officers during 2003 and 2004. Despite the huge increase in the number of police, the murder rate still remained slightly higher than the immediate pre-ban rate.
