Sadiq Khan takes dig at Donald Trump AGAIN – saying protesting Brits should exercise ‘free speech’ when he visits UK

237

While Londoners are under siege, this is his concern. London is suffering an unprecedented wave of rape and knife crimes, and has higher crime rates in general than it has had in recent memory. But London’s far-left Muslim mayor, who has police looking for “islamophobic hate speech” online instead of fighting crime on the streets, is more concerned with hectoring and insulting the President for his supposed “islamophobia.” What is Trump’s great offense? He wants to limit immigration from jihadi hotspots in order to stop jihad terror attacks in the U.S. For that, he is unacceptable to Khan, who “slammed him for sharing ‘vile, hate-fuelled’ tweets.”

Yes, accurate tweets about jihad activity are the problem, while London burns.

“NO HE KHAN’T: Sadiq Khan takes dig at Donald Trump – saying protesting Brits should exercise ‘free speech’ when he visits UK,” by Natasha Clark, The Sun, April 26, 2018 (thanks to Van):

Story continues below advertisement

SADIQ Khan has taken another swipe at his arch enemy Donald Trump, saying Brits will be sure to exercise their “free speech” by protesting if he comes to the capital.

The London Mayor issued a warning to the US President after it was announced he will officially visit the UK for the first time in July.

The trip will take place on Friday the 13th – after Mr Trump stops off in Brussels for a summit of Nato leaders.

But Mr Khan – who has clashed repeatedly with him on several occasions – issued a thinly vieled warning that he will face angry protesters if he comes to London.

The Mayor tweeted: “If he comes to London, President Trump will experience an open and diverse city that has always chosen unity over division and hope over fear.

“He will also no doubt see that Londoners hold their liberal values of freedom of speech very dear.”

The London Mayor has repeatedly said the US President should not get a state visit when he comes, and the pair have fallen out repeatedly online.

Mr Trump attacked him after the London Bridge attacks which left eight dead, but Mr Khan said he was acting like a 12-year-old.

Later on a spokesperson for Khan said that President Trump had taken the Mayor’s words out of context, but the President tweeted again, calling it a “pathetic excuse.”

Mr Khan said the abuse he’s got online has got even worse since he started fighting with the US President too – with one sick user telling him to “blow himself up”.

And after the US President re-tweeted messages from Britain First, Mr Khan slammed him for sharing “vile, hate-fuelled” tweets.

He also was vocal in calling out Mr Trump’s travel ban, which targeted people form mainly Muslim countries….

This is why the leftists want massive gun confiscation in the USA.
If the people are armed and will fight for their freedom then the politicians will be afraid to write draconian laws.
Leftists are like schools of fish, made up of a population that merely follows one another with no real destiny.

I was just banned again, on Daily Mail. I didn’t use cures words or “offensive” language but I dared to be critical of Meghan Merkel. That is a NO NO!

It doesn’t really bother me. I’ll just sign up for another email and create another account. It was fun. The highest number of up arrows I got was 150. I mostly averaged in the 50’s. All I did for awhile was give frustrated censored Brits a VOICE.

OTOH you can be as vulgar, hurtful, hateful, unkind, false etc. when it is anti-Trump, anti-conservative and against what is going on. I want to wake up and believe all of this is some kind of a bad dream – but it isn’t.

Our media reminds me of the Middle East outlets—they broadcast what they are told to, terrified of litigation, not decapitation in our case. In that instance, we really don’t have much freedom. Any wonder most are so ignorant and easily led. Eg. occasionally they slip up. One morning, ages ago, there was a short mention of a riot in a Midlands town. That was their full name, from Victoria’s spouse, Albert. They changed it out of fear of revolting subjects when we were fighting the Germans in WWI. The House of Hanover died with her, making Edward VII the first of the S-C-G line. Victoria, although born here , had a German governess, only spoke German , as did her mother, until she was three, then English and French some said, with a German accent. Only fear of something like Corbyn as President prevents me from being a Republican. I support the true line, the Stuarts. By that token, Sadiq Khan was born here, 10 years after his family emigrated from Pakistan. Makes him English.

Too bad Kahn job doesn’t “blow himself up” and do London a favor. Naturally P.M. May is SILENT since they have the same agenda as Obama did. Who’d believe a pissant, nobody Mayor would behave like this. He’s calling out a PRESIDENT of the United States no less when HIS RELIGION is the reason the world has Muslim terrorists. LOOK at how he is a terrorist in how he runs his now shiiitthole city! It’s maddening.

Will those that don’t want ISLAM be allowed to PROTEST? Oh, that’s considered a “hate speech” crime. But hating on Trump and protesting him, probably with VIOLENCE, is considered free speech expression. But you can NOT have that since CENSORSHIP is being used as a club to silence opposition to Islam and filthy shiiittt like this. Freedom of expression only goes one way.

Last time I was in London, which was in the 1980’s there was about as much Arabic as English. I doubt things have gotten any better. Trumps travel ban should also include the London mayor. And, if the good mayor sees Trumps ban as a moslem ban so be it. Dear Mr. mayor there is a moslem travel ban as the moslems are the only immigrant group that I can think of that murders its hosts. The moslems earned their ban.

The animosity is due, in part, to comments made by the mayor of the UK’s largest city. Just as an Englishman doesn’t like to have some foreigner telling them what to do … neither do Americans. I frequent a few British gun sites and the way they talk about barbarian Americans, mass shootings, and how strict gun control is SO superior … And, that is simply addressing some American making a positive comment about British side by side shotguns (they are the finest in the world) …. and then having a bunch of effete snobs, out of nowhere jumping on them and telling them Americans need gun laws such as they have.
Some, obviously not all, but some of that animosity is brought on by our interactions with UK citizens.

India is forecast to become the second largest economy after China. It has a space programme, excellent medical centres, research, etc. , so much to admire, yet has left large swathes of the population behind. I read about toilets being built for remote villages, but it was expected they would know their purpose. When they were inspected, years later, they had become hen houses, sheds. The recipients were delighted with their usefulness.

I suppose after generations of crapping in the open it’s hard to break with tradition. Maybe one day they will understand the importance of hygiene but in the meantime visitors will have to put up with the risk of dysentery and whatever else lurks unseen in those places.
The British gave them railways and stations with flushable bogs, so you would have thought it might catch on from there but I suppose after independence schemes meant to better the lot of the average Indian went on a back burner.

Hey, Erica. Try to recall those all powerful ancient “world wide empires” such as Egypt, Greece, Rome, Spain. Portugal, France, Germany, The UK and numerous others before and now after them that no longer exist or are in the process of becoming fodder for dustbins.
The OIC has had its fling at world domination and has failed miserably. It has failed primarily by its own hands and its insatiable greed and hatred and self flagellation. It is now running to more powerful nations for succor and support. They are no longer self reliant.

You are so right about becoming too complacent.
That is one of the reasons I believe Stephen Harper will be remembered admirably in history as one of the world’s great leaders as will Netanyahu. I do not yet know about Trump but I believe he has the capacity if he does not waste himself seeking glory.

Jesus said this: “When the Son of man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8) He said, “Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold Matthew 24:12 and in Thessalonians 2:3 Paul says “That day shall not come except there come a falling away first and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”

The West is in self-destruction mode and imploding… Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. Romans 1:28 may God forgive us and save us, open our eyes to see his glory…

“The Mayor tweeted: “If he comes to London, President Trump will experience an open and diverse city that has always chosen unity over division and hope over fear.”

Sadiq Khan, the Mayor, has said that London is an open, welcoming and diverse city. Yet he says Trump is NOT welcome! So which is it Khan, open and welcoming to all or only open and welcoming to narrow-minded intolerant Lefties?

As for saying Trump is not welcome, he does not speak for all Londoners or all Brits. Khan is 47. I was born and raised in London, though I don’t live there now, I spent 53 years of my life there, so I am more of a Londoner than Khan! I warmly welcome President Trump to the UK, to London, and to anywhere in the UK that he wants to visit.

You have revealed the hypocrisy of the left / Muslims. Open, welcome and diverse, so long as you sing from THEIR Little Red Books. Khan is a populist, hoping to become first Muslim PM of GB. He must be seething at the mess Corbyn has made of the Labour Party, having come so close to electability, and spent so much time grooming the Jewish Community. His advisors no doubt told him that defamation of POTUS Trump would boost his popularity—Khan—champion of Western democracy and values ! Sad thing is , millions of morons and cynical agendists will endorse him on this.30 years since I left London, my sons were born there. I would not recognise it now or wish to return.

Read this s l o w l y. Sadiq Khan’s bigotry is not representative of the United Kingdom, or England, any more than the raving anti semitic part of the Labour Party. There are a large, vocal % of Brits who are in complete possession of their full mental faculties and who vehemently oppose both, just as I assume a large % of Americans would be insulted if blamed for Obama’s disastrous TWO terms.

And if we on this side of the Pond believed CNN, NYT and the other leftist tailwaggers, we would be convinced everyone who voted POTUS Trump are all knuckle dragging, drooling troglodytes, or KKK supporters. Yes we have a spineless government, which shames us, and the alternative would shame us even more. ( Rather like the IDF l propping up the PA, because Hamas in the West Bank would be even worse ) You had Obama , TWICE. Thank your lucky stars you have Trump, warts and all, but at least heading in the right direction, and try not to shame him by living down to the lying leftist opinions they have. Give us credit also for our own political impotence. BTW, yon prat Obama tried to interfere in our EU referendum, by threatening ” the special relationship ” if we voted to leave the EU. That probably impelled many to vote for Brexit, who were undecided at that point. Thank him for me.

“The control he requests is that the masters of the internet bar anti-Islamic comments and threats. His condemnation is of President Donald Trump for his tweets (especially those in support of Britain First), which have proven to be an encouragement to those with an anti-Islamic agenda. And he suggests that the big technology firms be taxed not on the basis of profits, but on the basis of revenue if the anti-Islamic messages continue on the internet, thus threatening confiscation if his “advice” is not taken. What has the Alfie Evans case got to do with A ) Muslims B) Free Speech ? The Evans are Catholic, hence the wish to take him to Francis, although Lourdes would have been more appropriate, Francis is no miracle healer. The police are prosecuting a “psychotic minority ” who call themselves part of Alfies’ army. and stand outside the Alder Hey, our second best / famous Children’s Hospital, chanting “Burn the Alder Hey ” (presumably with all its inhabitants, children and staff, inside ) They threaten staff with murder, follow them home, threaten to burn their homes and children, harass visitors, patients, to the extent staff are advised to hide their uniforms, families and outpatients are deterred from entering . Alfies’s doctors’ addresses are known–illegally — and their families threatened. These threats are also openly broadcast online. We have care in the community for our psychiatric patients and many are free to vocalise their dislike of the services they receive, sadly underfunded, however to extend that hatred to a Childrens’ Hospital staff and hijack a tragic case, remains despicable –and illegal– whatever their mental status. The ruling was made by our courts . Those 14 upvotes obviously agree with these sick people and their actions or are totally ignorant of the facts of this case.

I disagree, vehemently. Following staff home, is a totally different matter than posting a negative about a hospital or a health system that is exceedingly restrictive. Standing outside, picketing and protesting should be totally legal. Death threats are a totally separate matter and should be treated as such. However, to call the health system … and any hospital, whether it’s for general admission of children, vile names … there should be nothing wrong with that. Posting disgust with a hospital, doctors, or health system … even in the vilest of terms .. such as “if it was wiped off of the face of the earth, that would be a good thing …” Disagree with it all that you desire, but that is simply setting forth an opinion. If voicing strong opinions, whether the statements are vile and you disagree with such … if that’s “illegal”, there is no freedom in that nation.

Erica wasn’t complaining about the right to protest and the right to use free speech.
Both of which I passionately fully support.
In my understanding her disgust was with the lunatics that harass the nurses and doctors and follow them home.
But read into it what you will.

So, at their own expense, the child’s parents would “take the boy abroad” is wrong? What is WRONG with a country that allows doctors to make the decisions that should best be left to G-d? If I’ve ever run across anyone deserving death threats … it’s that piece of drek “doctor”.

Dave Glynn

That’s a separate matter.
Right from the start of this case I have been in support of the right of the parents to do what they see is best for THEIR child.
The people who are protesting this sad and I’d say bad decision Should reserve their anger for the doctor or doctors who made that decision and not the poor nurses that have to run the gauntlet of their misdirected hate.

So if parents want to starve their child, beat it to death, withhold medication to save its life–we let them and God get on with it. Great ! What money we could save–no more Children’s Services for a start. Doctors have a duty of care. Do we know if the child is suffering, needing pain relief, sedation, which it would not get in transit or home. Not all parents have the capacity to look after their child as society expects. Everyone can express their disapproval, not all Alfie’s army are abusive. . When that becomes abusive or impedes the provision of care to other patients, then it becomes reprehensible.

You SJWs really set me on edge. The doctors and hospital were the ones that took that child off of life support systems. Verbal and written “abuse” are well earned, in this situation. SJWs LOVE to place government above all. That … THAT is what is reprehensible.

Ideally all comatose children whose scans show continuing deterioration of function , who came in fitting, should be maintained on artificial respiration systems until they die of old age. All parents would prefer this. But realistically there are 23 ITU beds at Alder Hay, which covers a large area of England and North and north west Wales. This is actually a fair amount , but specialist trained nurses are not easy to find. Children are admitted constantly, requiring these beds and nurses. Doctors have to make the decision–do you strive officiously when science tells you the outcome is futile, or do you use your scant resources for children who have a chance of recovery ? Of course we can make emotional, uninformed opinions from afar, but doctors must decide, with whatever facts they have . No they are not gods, yet we expect them to perform miracles Yes they make mistakes, are fools, killers, and lechers, like the rest of us. In emotive cases like this we are all influenced by our personal experience. I worked with ’em for 30 + years, sometimes would have preferred my vet, but most do the very best they can.

Not being able to believe in mystical beings myself, does not, nor should it, deter me from respecting all those who GENUINELY believe in them / it. My father was a Roman Catholic of deep conviction, but was still the best human I ever knew— despite that. Unlike some, dear Izzy, I can see humans in more than one dimension. I also believe that THEIR faith has allowed the Jews to survive for 3000 tears and keep their code of decency, which we inherited, despite everything we have done to them. For that I call them righteous and support Israel / Jews unequivocally .Edited. Well, perhaps not all Jews totally unequivocally. If the earth was flat I would be tempted to shove some of Corbyn’s pet Jews off the edge.

Hello, David. If you cannot see the difference between calling a doctor, or judge that believe themselves to be a god … that take a child off of life support, yet will not allow that child’s release to his very own parents …. the foul things, that they are .. and place that on the same level as “threatening staff” .. then you’ve been talking to Erica’s type a bit too much. HUGE difference. Why not allow them to take the child abroad for treatment, or even prayers. The doctors, the hospital, and the judge have already written that child off … as they ARE gods! What in the world makes them such? What harm can come to that child if they seek treatment abroad? They’ve already determined that the child is to die … THEY have condemned that child to death .. and they’re not about to let anyone interfere.

Dave Glynn

I honestly didn’t say that.
Re-read my reply and I said I was in support of the parents right to do what’s best for THEIR child.
It was the intimidation of the nursing staff that I objected to that have nothing to do with the doctor in charge that made that bad decision.

So, Achmed, you are quite OK with Muslims threatening to kill Jews, infidel Americans, online ? So the Al Quds march with Hezbollah flags flying, is perfectly permissible. After all, they are exercising their right to freedom of expression. The vandalising of churches and mosques—freedom of expression. Beat up a Jew,kill a Christian–only voicing their strong opinions, says Achmed, so it must be OK. And so why all the opprobrium about protests against Trump visiting Britain ? They must be allowed to express their disgust and outrage at him—its their right. If the lunatics want to take a shot at him, throw a bomb at him—only their right of expression. Why all this fuss ?

A bit slow-wondered what joists had to do with anything. So this is the definition of SJW. http://www.rooshv.com/what-is-a-social-justice-warrior-sjw Had it actually meant the normative definition of these 3 words I would have said thank you kindly. Should have known better–everything these days is ignorantly pejorative. Now, perhaps you can point out how I can be defined as pejorative SJW from the parameters of my comments on this article. Is it merely because I do not agree with you ? Because I am centre right in politics, not far enough right to sound like the reverse face of the extreme left coin which merely substitutes one hatred for another ? Do tell, I believe one is never too old to learn .

What a cowardly cop out. All emotion–no reasoning, just like your left wing mirror images. Of course you can’t support your wild accusations. And you reinforce my comments, by being sick enough to imagine I or any rational, decent person can use a child’s death to score points or achieve satisfaction. It may astound you to know we in Britain do not use health provision as a divisive factor as it is in America. Each party only complains about its efficiency, and how much more we need to improve it. No one mentions cancelling it. It has served us well. The lack of funding arises mostly from foreigners using it and reneging on payment. I would back it before the money- up- front, inadequate excuse which passes for healthcare in the US. I was defending an NHS for which I worked, respect and trust from uninformed, scurrilous , political posturing.

There was NO cowardice.
“But a doctor treating Alfie, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said that for Alfie to be allowed home would require a “sea change” in attitude from the child’s family, and they feared that in the “worst case” they would try to take the boy abroad.” (Daily Wire).
Any “physician” that has an attitude, even approaching that of this vile creature, is the lowest of the low.
It was, quite obviously, NOT (special emphasis added) for the good of this child to hold him. Why could the parents not take him abroad to seek treatment? Simply vile posturing, on the part of filthy disgusting individuals.
What is the percentage of administrative workers v medical providers, in the UK; with particular emphasis to the NHS?
So, time for you, and your ilk, to go back to your noisemakers and bubbly … You won an important victory.
Simply disgusting.

The cowardice was in your hanging a pejorative, totally unfounded label round my neck, yet being unable to explain your reasoning for it. But that is entirely in keeping with our Right Wing Neanderthals, all hatred, synchronised abuse, empty rhetoric, but never able to justify their reasons , or actually discuss any subject objectively. “I hate….. therefore I am ” Virtue signalling, mirror image of the morons on the far left. I gave you reasons why the decision re. Alfie Evans was probably made , from an informed perspective. But nothing was going to alter the idee fixe that it was a political decision, not first and foremost, Alfie’s best interests . I do hope your “physician ” brother is a psychoanalyst, because your hatred is affecting your judgement. He certainly did not understand “induced coma ” There was no treatment. Read my link to the Papal hospital. All treatment at this stage was palliative. It is sad. Both Pamela Geller and Donald Trump deserve a better quality of support . I keep coming back to this site in the hope of finding intelligent life, but with a few exceptions I learn nothing new, in fact I am better informed of events re. Islam from other sites. All I read are the same Animal Farm dirges—all Muslims must be wiped out, all left wing are scum, all Democrats are also scum, everyone hates us (wonder why ? ) Sounds like Muslims at prayer. Ever thought P.G. was banned from Britain because she was judged by her supporters, just as every violent racist nut is unjustly blamed on poor Trump ?

Your very own “comment” is enough evidence, inclusive of definition of you being a SJW. What the piece of drek, poor excuse for a human being, much less a physician, was quoted as stating shows the attitude of the likes of you. To induce a coma, on a very temporary basis, heavy doses of barbiturates are utilized. In the US, standard medical protocol makes the use of machinery a requisite. However, it appears that in the UK, they haven’t quite made it that far in the practice of medicine. My brother most assuredly understands induced coma, it is obvious that you … and whatever “doctor” heavily dosed that poor child with pentobarbital or thiopental, which by standard procedure is utilized to protect the brain during neurosurgery. It is NOT utilized as a life sustaining effort. You have shown your ignorance and it is glowing.
There was no reason to not allow that child to seek foreign medical attention, as the UK system is decades, if not centuries, behind the rest of the Western world.
A group of inferior practitioners handed down a death sentence and, by G-d, NO one was going to interfere with their planned execution. You gave reasons, indeed!
That doctor, hospital staff, and judiciary sentenced that poor child to death. That is simple. Anyone with an intellect beyond that of an aphid realizes that.
And, for you and your ilk, to support that, is nothing more than being akin to cheering on a bloody, violent murder.
You should feel great shame. However, it seems that you are incapable of such.
I find, on this site, intelligent discussion of news. The likes of you, being intellectual inferiors, cannot understand such. You remind me of the village idiot that keeps screaming to the crowd, “I am smart. I am smart. I AM smart! As spittle splatters in all directions.
You are simply a disgusting example of what an intelligent free thinker is NOT. I truly pity you.

Your ignorance and blinkered bigotry is sadly only too common in idealogues of both extremes. https://www.opendemocracy.net/ournhs/jason-hickel/take-it-from-american-britain's-nhs-is-as-good-as-it-getsh Your barbaric, profit driven “health care ” has been measured against our NHS time and again and fails badly. ttps://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/uks-healthcare-ranked-the-best-out-of-11-western-countries-with-us-coming-last-9542833.html , not just for accessibility to all, but for quality. “Intelligent free thinker, ” you and your comrades ? The very word FREE has you screaming invectives, and I see little evidence of any thinking by many regulars on this site—more like rabid parrots. As your attention span and comprehension is rather weak, let me refresh your memory. You said previously “That child is not on any medication, An induced coma requires machinery… I ain’t a physician but my brother is, and we have discussed this situation. ” implying that he had informed you that drugs were not necessary to induce a coma. Only a mechanical hammer blow to the head or an SAS type of pressure on the carotid, could induce a coma without drugs, and as neither are designed to allow for recovery, would prove counterproductive. But doh ! that would require some free thought or even the huge effort of searching the web ! As a nurse , even back with Flo Nightingale, I nursed patients in induced comas, and yes, they did not always require artificial ventilation, although it had to be ready and yes, they survived with cognitive and motor function intact and guess what ?—No one was waiting to present them with a big fat bill when they woke up.
