No Blue Texas Wave: Ted Cruz Received More Votes than Entire Democrat Turnout

63

Ever since Trump’s election, the mainstream media has done everything it could to paint the picture of a nation uniting behind the Democrats, solid in local election after local election in rejecting the President and his agenda. This led them to construct the fiction of a “blue wave” even in Texas, but Texas voters have refused to cooperate. Not only was Ted Cruz overwhelmingly renominated in the Republican primary, but he received more votes than the number of people who voted in the Democrat primary. Democrats better start reckoning with the possibility of a “red wave” that continues to work to take this country back.

“No Blue Texas Wave: Ted Cruz Received More Votes than Entire Democrat Turnout,” by Bob Price, Breitbart, March 7, 2018:

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) received more votes in the 2018 Republican Primary election than the entire turnout of voters in the Democratic Primary. The results shed a new perspective on the media-hyped “blue wave” stories from the weeks leading up to election day.

Story continues below advertisement

In the Republican Primary of 2018, Senator Cruz received 1,317,450 votes in a race with four challengers. His Democrat opponent, U.S. Representative Beto O’Rourke only received 641,311 votes against two opponents.

Figures from the Secretary of State’s office show that just over one million voters turned out in the Democratic Primary in general across Texas. Cruz alone exceeded the entire Democratic voter turnout by nearly 300,000 votes.

Last week, Texas Secretary of State Spokesman Sam Tayler told Breitbart Texas that in normal gubernatorial primary elections, about 10 percent of registered voters turn out in the Republican primary and five percent in the Democratic primary. At that time, he predicted, based on early voting numbers, that Democrats would match the Republican’s 10 percent turnout. Instead, Democrats fell short on election day. Republican voters slightly exceeded their normal voter turnout with about 11 percent of registered voters coming to their polls. Democrats also raised their turnout, but only to 6.8 percent arrived.

The race for Texas Governor yielded similar numbers. Governor Greg Abbott received 1,392,294 votes in a field of three candidates while the Democrats split among nine. Just over one million voters cast their ballots in the Democratic gubernatorial race. Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez received 436,658 votes while her main opponent, Houston businessman Andrew White received 278,702 votes. The two Democrats will face off in a May 22 runoff.

In the leadup to election day, media outlets hyped the early voting turnout numbers as a harbinger of doom for Texas Republicans.

On Tuesday, CNN asked in a headline, “Can a Blue Wave Take Down Ted Cruz in Texas?” Fourteen hours later, the network answered it’s own question. “Democrat Turnout Could Signal a Blue Wave in November — But Not in Texas,” the new headline stated.

The Dallas Morning News also questioned the legitimacy of the Texas blue wave. The newspaper asked in a headline, “Breaking Down the Texas Primaries: How Real is the Democrats’ Blue Wave?”

There is still cause for concern for Texas Republicans. Democrats increased their gubernatorial election year turnout by nearly 40 percent over 2014 numbers. This added nearly 300,000 Democratic voters to their database which will be used for efforts to turn out voters in November….

Don’t forget about “Ballot Box 13” which put commiecrat LBJ in the Senate back in the day. The majority of those voters’ names had been taken from headstones in a nearby cemetery. This is covered in a book about him called “Ascent of Power.”

He was a dual citizen (I recall when the US did not allow such), born in Canada to a US citizen mother, but his Cuban father was not yet a citizen. With all of the birthers and the like, ala obimbo, I could not back … as much as I liked Cruz’s positions, him.

Ted really did pass the constitutional, citizenship qualifications to be a president. During the 2016 Wisconsin primary I spoke with him twice. He was the the most expressive, Pro-Israel candidate in the race. Although Trump has become what I would have thought Ted would have been. What impressed me the most was he was not finished talking to me until I finished talking to him.

I find Senator Cruz to be a fine legal mind. However, there is no “constitutional citizenship qualifications” list .. other than “natural born”. Which, previously meant on US soil. There have been no court challenges. Again, if not for the possibility of him not being constitutionally able to serve, as president .. He’d have my support, financial and time alike .. as well as my vote.

The question is what is “natural born”. John McCain was born in Panama (foreign soil), but a determination was made that he was eligible to be President.

Natural born: Born of TWO American Citizen parents; One American woman PLUS One American man.
I am not sure the birth need be on American soil.

That is a subject that has never made it to a court. Courts rule on the constitution (although, you wonder if many of the judges can read), not some politician’s opinion.

Thank you! I had searched and found nothing. Again, my thanks. The Illinois Board of Elections decision is meaningless. However, both in New Jersey and Pennsylvania … court decisions. Again, many thanks … I was unable to find those.

Every court, in the land, would rule my wife to be an American citizen. However, she is not a “natural born” citizen. It is not solely a question of being a citizen.

Both of McCain’s parents were American citizens. His birth, not being at a base (considered US soil, in the Panama Zone, at that time) was due to an emergency. Again, McCain’s eligibility was never ruled on by a court of law …. Therefore, we don’t know if he was actually “qualified”. Moreover, he never carried citizenship of any country, other than the United States of America.

It isn’t a question of “citizenship”. Rather, it is a question of “natural born” citizenship.

I am not disbelieving you. Rather, I can find nothing .. on any court ruling … on Cruz being “natural born”.
Pursuant to the Naturalization Act of 1795, he is a “citizen”, NOT a “natural born citizen”.

http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/ampage?collId=llsl&fileName=001/llsl001.db&recNum=538

Again, I have looked high and low for any court ruling … You stated that there were two. Since you stated such, I was only asking you to point me in the right direction.

The constitution does not require JUST American citizenship. Of course, he is a citizen. However, although my wife is a citizen of the United States of America, under the constitution, she is not eligible, as she is not a “natural born” citizen.

I am not attacking you. Dual citizenship was not allowed, in the US, until the sixties. When you took your oath, you were to not only to renounce, but formally relinquish the other nation’s citizenship. If caught, it was cause, for a naturalized citizen, to lose their US citizenship and be deported. Christ said it best … “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.”

There is NO dual citizenship in the United States of America. If you are an USA citizen you are not a citizen of any other country. If you are native born and pledge allegiance to another country you automatically lose your USA citizenship. If you are a citizen of another country and pledge allegiance to the USA you automatically lose your citizenship in the other country. Other countries may recognize dual citizenship but the USA does not. If anyone disagrees with this GIVE ME PROOF.

How to Have Dual Citizenship in the US and Canada

Three Methods:Knowing the Basics of Dual Citizenship in USA and CanadaObtaining a US CitizenshipObtaining a Canadian CitizenshipCommunity Q&A

The U.S. Department of State or Bureau of Consular Affairs and
Citizenship and Immigration Canada allows for citizens to have dual
citizenships, meaning it is not required for you to give up citizenship
if you plan to obtain a second foreign nationality. However, the methods
you are able to obtain dual citizenship vary between Canada and the
United States of America. When you have successfully acquired dual
citizenship, you pledge allegiance to both countries and are required
and expected to follow the laws of both countries. Having dual
citizenship can be quite beneficial if you travel between the two
countries a lot or have a permanent resident in one or both countries,
allowing you to vote in elections and receive benefits from both
countries. Now on,don’t be lazy. Do your own searches.

A person in the United States may acquire dual citizenship in one of several ways, including::

Being born in the United States to immigrant parents.

Being born outside the United States to one parent who is a U…

Becoming a naturalized U…

Regaining citizenship in a country of origin after having become a naturalized U…

If you hold multiple passports, it is important to keep those documents current and to use them appropriately in each country…

Then, kindly define “natural born citizen”, as to this date, no court has done so.

Achmed Mohammedan

There has never been one single court issued ruling on what constitutes a “natural born citizen”. That is a constitutional issue and can only be addressed by the courts. If Cruz runs, for president again, early on … well before the primaries, a “friendly opponent” needs to sue Senator Cruz, regarding his eligibility. That way, that issue could be put to bed, for once and for all. I would welcome him, as my president.

They would have torn him apart on his dual citizenship besides Ted would have sold himself to the Lobbyists and on economy he is a globalist and criticised Trump on that during campaign and No wall or stopping illegal immigrants.

………….Only Trump could have beaten Hillary by getting some Democrat too.

Nobody even investigates it bcoz Hillary gang is running FBI/DOJ/state dept/NSA.

And then look at how the Dem mafia is running circles around trump and trying to bring him down , Ted would have crumbled and compromised and agreed to not talk about Investigating Hillary ……… to stay in power.

Not Trump.

I think you are right – Trump was only one who could beat Hitlery.
Do not underestimate the unhinged, hate-filled leftists during the 2018 or 2020 elections. They will not be home whacking their carrots because they “know” their candidate will win like they did in 2016 – they’re going to vote and they’re going to vote for the most leftist commies that will run. They will be very hard to beat. Particularly if we see dumb phuks like those in Alabama who refused to vote for Judge Moore because of unproven allegations from ho’s from his past.
R’s will vote for whoever the R’s nominate or else they will lose and we’ll end up commie – waiting for a perfect candidate will only ensure you wake up in a commie nation. Unhinged leftists aren’t messing around. Time to get serious.

I really like Ted Cruz, too. In fact I like him more every day. I don’t believe he would have beaten Hillary and our country would be lost. Including in Texas, I might add: Soros helped get a One World globalist stooge, Joe Gonzales, elected in the Democrat primary race for District Attorney of Bexar County over incumbent Nico LaHood who was smeared, tarred and feathered by the Soros machine as “racist” for his opposition to sanctuary cities. Out of 11 D.A. races Soros got his dirty hands into in 2015 and 2016, nine of his puppets won. So it’s not just in turnout that Republicans should be concerned about in that state. It’s Soros’ dirty money as well.

He may not meet all of the qualifications for President but having had the American hating HARMS (Homo African Racist Mudscum/Mudslime Socialist) who was born in Kenya and I presume that if he went to college it was on a foreign scholarship, as no one knows the truth due to all of his records being sealed, was in the position that he could not qualify for.or pass a background check for a low security clearance, proves to me that the mold has been broken and Cruz should be able to hold office as he is a staunch Conservative American. A legal Immigrant from Mexico that I personally know and leans to the democratic left because of his peers at church and the news outlets he listens to would have voted for Ted Cruz a went

During that time period, u-haul would loan you, FREE of charge, a rental truck if you were moving to CA (one way trip). U-haul had no CA inventory and was having to pay to ship their own S- in CA stocked with trucks and trailers. We also have spineless local leaders, as of our own sanctuary cities, and anti-gun policies.
