Decades after the left began its long march through the institutions (academia, media, think tanks, entertainment etc) — subverting society by infiltrating institutions such as the academic and other professions — they have finally succeeded. It is coming down fast.
Teacher put on leave for questioning school walkout

A California high school teacher says she was “aghast” to learn she was placed on leave over comments she made about National School Walkout Day.
Story continues below advertisementJulianne Benzel, a Rocklin High School teacher, said that administrators’ decision Wednesday followed a debate she held in her history class about the nationwide school protest supporting gun control reform, news station KOVR reported.
She said she never discouraged students from participating in the 17-minute walkout on Wednesday, but school administrators told her they disagreed with her remarks.
“I just kind of used the example, which I know it’s really controversial, but I know it was the best example I thought of at the time — a group of students nationwide, or even locally, decided ‘I want to walk out of school for 17 minutes’ and go in the quad area and protest abortion, would that be allowed by our administration?” she told the news station.
The history teacher claimed she was only trying to encourage discussion among her students.
“I didn’t get any backlash from my students,” Benzel said. “All my students totally understood that there could not be a double standard.”
On National Walkout Day, she received a letter from the human resources department notifying her that she was being put on paid administrative leave.
Benzel, who has since retained legal counsel, said the school’s decision has raised questions about First Amendment rights.
“I feel like if we were to go to school and say something like I want to walk out maybe for abortion rights, then you know they probably wouldn’t let us because that’s more of a conservative push,” student Nick Wade said. “But someone wants to say let’s walk out for gun control then the school’s going to go with it because it’s more of a popular view.”

We have teachers and administrators (government employees paid by taxpayers) encouraging students to protest so the right of taxpayers can be taken away. This is sick. The DOJ/Trump Administration needs to squash this and make people pay with criminal charges, fines, mandatory NRA-approved 2nd Amendment education for every student prior to receiving a HS diploma.

Welcome to the new era. You are not allowed to speak your mind anymore, in schools, the workplace, etc. Anyone who even HINTS at putting forth an opposing viewpoint, can be ruined as we see here with this teacher. I hope she sues and makes a ton of money from that school district. That’s one place I don’t mind my taxpayer money going.

Ditto. This is liberal fascism – it’s ruining the entire nation – actually it’s ruining the entire western world.
The Dept of Education should make education on why we have a 2nd Amendment a requirement for receiving a HS diploma or GED. That education should be NRA-approved, and should make the students aware of the genocides that occur to people who are not armed and cannot defend themselves – including genocides going on today. Give the students some perspective on the seriousness of 17 lives lost because of inept, probably criminal, law enforcement and state/local officials in Florida versus the 100,000,000+ unarmed people killed by brutal politicians in the past 100 or so years.

Students who refused to participate in the walkout were suspended. the Federal Government pays for each child that is in class. The government (Trump) should withhold funding for the schools who participatae in these Communist activities.

School districts that violate the constitution, encourage civil disobedience and stifle free speech, should have all federal funding removed immediately. Then a overseer appointed to hold an election of legitimate knowledgeable candidates, not ideologues and half wits.

Agreed. Those in politics and the media who see fit to squelch the constitutional freedoms of self-expression of others need to be reminded that those are the very same freedoms that make political discourse and a free media possible in the first place.

Benzel is back at her job this morning.
Julianne Benzel is also a Women’s Studies professor at the nearby Sierra College. Today, Benzel is back in her Rocklin HS AP History classroom. Her temporary removal was based on letters from two students who wrote they were “uncomfortable” with the abortion question, and one parent. Their are 120+ students in her HS classes.

This is how the Orwellian NWO begins, not with a bang, but with a whimper.

They are making precedents for the NWO using examples to scare everyone into submission and silence.
It takes self sacrificial determination for a higher cause to overcome the oppression and resulting fear of putting your survival at risk. The more you have to lose, the harder it is. Remember the rich man and the eye of the needle. Carry your cross daily. Most will be muzzled into silence, as in the nazi rise to power. Those not conforming and not lining up with the politically “correct” agenda will be singled out and eliminated. The eternal question is: What will you do in the moment of decision, will you stand for Jesus, or cave in and cower to the devil’s agenda? The fork in the road will rise to meet us all one day. After the holocaust, you were either remembered with honor for standing up to injustice and maybe dying in a concentration camp as a righteous resister, or in shame for conforming to the nazi order for self preservation and for being complicit in murder. There was no middle ground.
As the saying goes, evil triumphs when good people do nothing.
