Raheem Hassan threatened to kill his colleagues over their “islamophobia,” which, if they really did make remarks about his religious beliefs, only proves their point. But he will not face criminal charges as long as he continues mental health treatment. Authorities persist in classifying Islam and jihad as a mental illness. Why haven’t they been charged with “islamophobia” over this?

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Criminal charges against a firefighter who allegedly threatened to “kill” colleagues he claimed had mistreated him over his religious faith will be dropped in six months if he stays out of trouble and continues mental-health treatment.
Story continues below advertisementRaheem Hassan’s case was adjourned in contemplation of dismissal during his appearance Wednesday in Criminal Court.
Hassan, 30, a Staten Island resident, was arrested on Dec. 27 and accused of making a threatening call to his supervising officer at a Dongan Hills home on Dec. 20, said a criminal complaint.
“This is Hassan. I’m going to kill the guys in the firehouse,” the suspect said, according to the complaint.
Hassan worked for the officer for about four years, and the supervisor recognized his voice, the complaint said.
Hassan was charged with a misdemeanor count of aggravated harassment, which carries a maximum penalty of a year in jail on a trial conviction….
The firefighter was assigned to Engine 309/Ladder 159 on E. 48th Street in Brooklyn, which, at the time, was allegedly being investigated for hazing, bullying, threats and sexual misconduct, according to the New York Daily News.
Hassan, a Muslim, reported that his fellow firefighters were tormenting him over his religious beliefs, the News said.
Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro transferred six fire officers and two firefighters out of that firehouse, said published reports….
The harassment charge will be dismissed on that date if Hassan continues with the mental-health treatment he is receiving through the Fire Department and also stays out of trouble, said prosecutors.
Hassan has not been suspended over his arrest, the FDNY spokesman said.

Excellent idea, Trump’. Let’s wait until Hassan actually does kill his colleagues’or some other infidels- before doing anything to him.
That said, firefighters should not be discussing a colleagues’s religion on the job. I suspect Pamela might have a different attitude had Hassan been a Jew who was tormented for being a “Christ killer”.

If were a non Muslim fire fighter, I would unequivocally refuse to work with a violent (history of aggravated harassment), proven to be mentally unstable (receiving ongoing mental-health treatment), fellow fire fighter
Any non Muslim fire fighter working with this individual, should now be concerned that in the heat of the moment, this Muslim degenerate, might just go to the next level with his Jihad and make good on his threats… As we all know, Jihadists have zero inhibitions re burning (when opportunity presents itself, pushing a fellow fire fighter into raging flames) infidels alive

So, after his life-altering treatment, he’ll be able to go right back to working for the same supervising officer. Oh, that won’t create any problems, tensions, animosities or anything like that. If his supervising officer tries to correct ANYTHING about his performance, he’ll probably go into a rage. Oh yeah, great recipe for a work environment.
This piece of garbage makes the threats and the other officers are the ones transferred. How many firefighters are going to want to work with this as*hole when he gets back. He’ll then cry because nobody was forced to make friends with him.

It is also a matter of lawsuits where the supervisors could wreck their careers by not being able to prove charges. He did not record his voice he only claimed to recognize it. That could be disputed in court. Does anyone believe de blasio would back them up???/

Are you sure you want this guy working the water pump on the truck as you enter a burning building? Not me. I would have make it a point to never turn my back to this dude, or eat anything he may have had access to, or sleep behind an unlocked door when he’s in the building.
$10 says he burns up in less than a year and gets all sorts of post-mortem awards.
Curious, when prayer time comes up, does he get excused from a fire call? How does he deal with firemen touching women they aren’t related to? Does he accuse the women of adultery and demand to stone them? Thats what Islam calls for.
Or is he a muslim when its convenient to be a muslim, like around promotion time? Is he making car payments? A mortgage? As a muslim, he’s not allowed to pay interest on a loan. it would be inconvenient to be a muslim when purchasing a car or a home, so he isn’t one at those times.

For a laugh riot read about L. Ron Hubbard’s US Navy career during WW2 — he ordered his ship (a sub chaser, which he commanded!) to attack Coronado Island off of San Diego! He also engaged a phantom Japanese submarine which he swore he sunk — even though the Japanese submarine was nowhere near California at the time. I imagine his antics in the USN provided plenty of humorous material for the IJN.
