CONVICTED: North Carolina Muslim who plotted to assassinate Pamela Geller and commit mass murder at free speech event in Texas found GUILTY of recruiting for the Islamic State

77

Erick Jamal Hendricks plotted to kill Pamela Geller and hundreds who attended AFDI’s free speech event in Garland, Texas. He was found guilty of aiding and abetting ISIS. Once again, the family covers and sanctions jihad and blames islamophobia (in other words, the victims). His mother told the Observer in 2016 that her son was “patriotic,” and was facing trumped-up charges because he is a converted Muslim.

Hendricks had contacted Al-Ghazi over social media to recruit him months earlier. Al-Ghazi said Hendricks tested his religious knowledge and commitment, inquiring about his willingness to commit “jihad,” to die as a “martyr” and his desire to enter “jannah” (paradise). Al-Ghazi had pledged allegiance to ISIS in social media and made statements expressing interest in conducting attack.

Hendricks was part of a group responsible for a thwarted terrorist attack in Garland, Texas, prosecutors said. On April 23, 2015, Hendricks used social media to contact Elton Simpson, who, along with Nadir Hamid Soofi, was inspired by ISIS and launched the attack on AFDI’s free speech in Garland, Texas.

Charlotte man convicted of trying of recruit backers for terrorism on US soil

By Mark Price, Charlotte Observer, March 21, 2018:

Erick Jamal Hendricks, 37, of Charlotte, was convicted this week of conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization.

His sentencing has yet to be scheduled, officials said.

The trial was held in Akron, Ohio, where government prosecutors successfully painted a picture of Hendricks as the driving force behind a proposed ISIS sleeper cell on American soil.

“Erick Jamal Hendricks represents the significant online ISIS threat that we face daily: A US citizen that becomes radicalized online and attempts to recruit and train individuals to commit jihad, all while on American soil,” said Special Agent in Charge Stephen Anthony. “The FBI is pleased that Hendricks was stopped before he was successful and now will spend a significant amount of time behind bars.”

Hendricks moved to Charlotte from Columbia, South Carolina, in July of 2016 and was arrested at his home on Aug. 4 of the same year as part of a complex government investigation that included FBI operatives.

His mother told the Observer in 2016 that her son was “patriotic,” and was facing trumped-up charges because he is a converted Muslim.

Federal prosecutors and the FBI tell a different story, of an Arkansas native who spent months in 2015 trying to recruit ISIS sympathizers through social media to train and unleash terrorist attacks in the United Sates for ISIS.

Authorities say he was unaware that he was often communicating with an FBI operative, bureau informants and an admitted ISIS sympathizer who was arrested in Ohio after he illegally bought an assault rifle.

The latter was a man identified as Amir Al-Ghazi, who was arrested in Ohio in June 2015, after attempting to purchase an AK-47 assault rifle and ammunition from an undercover law enforcement officer. Al-Ghazi had pledged allegiance to ISIS in social media and made statements expressing interest in conducting attacks in the U.S, prosecutors said.

Al-Ghazi said he believed that Hendricks was part of a group responsible for a thwarted terrorist attack in Garland, Texas, prosecutors said. On April 23, 2015, Hendricks used social media to contact Elton Simpson, who, along with Nadir Hamid Soofi, was inspired by ISIS and launched the attack on the “First Annual Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest” in Garland.

Simpson and Soofi opened fire, wounding a security guard, before Garland police returned fire and killed both Simpson and Soofi.

Al-Ghazi previously pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to a designated terrorist organization and being a felon in possession of firearms, officials said. He is awaiting sentencing.

Prosecutors say Hendricks’s potential targets included military members whose information had been released by ISIS and the woman who organized the “Draw Prophet Mohammad contest.” He claimed to have 10 members signed up for his group, according court documents and trial testimony.

The case was investigated by the FBI’s offices in Cleveland; Columbia, South Carolina; Baltimore; and Charlotte, with assistance from the U.S. Attorney’s Offices in the District of Maryland, District of South Carolina and the Western District of North Carolina.

Stop talking like a moron. You can’t strip people of their citizenship based upon them breaking a law, otherwise the entire country would be empty very soon.

You are ignorant. Yes you can do that!

It’s called treason. For starters, you might want to take a Civic course.

“Erick Jamal Hendricks, 37, of Charlotte, was convicted this week of conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization.”

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

(June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 807; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, § 330016(2)(J), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2148.)

We are fighting a war against this.
No, the entire country doesn’t aid ISIS. Just MUSLIMS. We need to enforce our laws.

Agree. citizenship comes with some duties and responsibilities. waging war against its citizens for an idealogy should result in death or loss of citizenship rights.

I was about to launch into a long discussion about why that would never happen. They have the whole country, or most of the population, out of their minds on one drug or another. Valium for everyone, sleeping pills, diet pills, “sex” pills for older folks, “uppers” for depressed people and “downers” for hyperactive types. Never mind the BILLIONS of dollars
the pharmaceutical companies charge for drugs that cost $1 a pill to make! But FIRST we have to get the DRUG DEALERS & CARTELS.

They haven’t doped me, either – bili- is that your name? I’ve questioned whether or not I should go into this – coz it’s a little long-winded. I’m a 60’s baby -born in 1943 – experienced WW 2 in England. Lived about 50 miles from Coventry – completely destroyed, heard bombers going over every night
– the whole shebang. My family sailed to Canada in 1960 – I was 17. 17 in the 60’s. That’s all you need to know. I’ve had every drug under the sun – and then some. I’ve been heavily involved in music – I’m a musician – not professionally – just for the LOVE of it. My drug taking ended when I had children, November 1970 and July July 72. I continued to use mushrooms and peyote for my spirit –
you know – “enlightenment”. I’m now 74. I KNOW – ANYTHING THAT GROWS ON GOD’S EARTH
IS FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE EARTH – for food, for medicine, for enlightenment. It’s not meant to be
owned by ANYONE – certainly NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO FORBID OUR USING ANYTHING.
So, the idea that the “government” or the “Pharmacists” or anyone has the “right” to decide that a
plant called “Hemp” which used to be used to make paper, or sails for ships – or whatever – it’s a PLANT for God’s sake – can be forbidden is RIDICULOUS – and IT IS THE REASON WE HAVE
DRUG CARTELS. DUH. GET THOSE BLOODY MURDERERS OUT OF OUR COUNTRY!!!

All credit to Ms Geller for the free speech event at Garland, for paying for armed security, for persevering in this work in the face of death threats – real ones – and for, as she put it, “We smoked them out’.
There is a perceptible difference today in how these matters are perceived by the public. There is less derision. People are BEGINNING to realise this is for real – thanks to the work of Ms. Geller and Robert Spencer. All credit and thanks to them.

I seen something in Garland I’d never seen before, not even envisioned in movies. ” Oh, man, these people will storm the gates of hell with her.” At least that was what I seen. She was whisked away and didn’t see this herself personally, but I witnessed it.

Had Ellison won, he stated he’s leave. He is also and anti- Semitic. Now you have DEMS openly defending Farrakhan a Jew hating Muslim that Dershowitz is now upset over.

Mahou, I wonder if it ever occurs to American authorities that with the number of Muslims increasing through immigration, through those converted in prisons and other ways, incidents of this violent nature keep increasing, Not only should all Muslim immigration be halted, programmes to stamp out Islamization introduced, vigorously pursued and penalties for not complying severe, with the Qur’an banned as hate literature. Michael Flynn was right when stating that Islam is a cancer. However, with America now so divided a society and so vicious, intolerant, hate-filled and through this self-destructive attitudes so prevalent, Trump would have no success in introducing anti-Islam measures. Such action would be hysterically condemned as “racist”, “Islamophobic”, “bigoted” – with idiotic CNN leading the campaign – and idiotic Republicans in Congress no better than the imbecilic leftists of the Democratic Party. Leaders of CAIR must be laughing and cheering hysterically. Any wise government would ban and destroy CAIR, but no, the likes of John Brennan, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, etc witlessly bowed to it’s demands to remove educational literature that warned against Islam. It’s as if God turned off their brains and their intellect and judgment died.
We know that with a moron running Canada and members of his cabinet and government of no better intellect, Canada is almost dead in the water unless something dramatic occurs, but with Canadian society now so moronically liberal, mindlessly politically correct and so embracing of multiculturalism, inclusion, diversity and every other insane ideological notion, chances of stopping the pro-Islam lunacy is remote. The only difference between Britain and Canada is that Britain is ahead of Canada in its self-destruction.

Canadian society is not so bad as you think. Trudeau did not win the popular vote. In fact, just over 60% of Canadians voted against him in the last election. In spite of that his party had enough votes to form a majority government and make Trudeau the Prime Minister. And of those who voted for him, many have already come to regret that.

On the Muslim question, I think if we taught the truth in school it would make a world of difference. The origin of Islam as a warrior’s cult that began in a barren desert and spread by the sword to conquer a large part of the ancient world, Islam never brought anything good to anyone, ever. That is the truth that must be known.

Rob Porter
Rob Porter

Reply to  Ichabod Crain

Ichabod, it not what I think, it’s what I am experiencing and seeing from day to day. I really don’t understand why so many Canadians are defensive in response to legitimate criticism. I live in Ontario that has a disgusting premier who regards it her despotic duty to impose on this province ‘her’ rules on sexual disorientation. Why? Because she is a lesbian, thus a homosexual and thus because of this circumstance everyone MUST or must be forced to regard homosexuality as normal and the equivalent of heterosexuality – and if you don’t you can have Human Rights Tribunal – nothing more than kangaroo courts and an affront to any proper democracy (that Canada no longer is) – land on you, fine you and endeavour to ruin you financially. New legislation makes it possible for the province to take away a child or children from their parents or guardian if while at school they don’t reflect the ‘right’ LGBTQ attitudes and this adjudged as coming from their home. Thus we have ‘Pink day’ in schools that at the outset purported to ‘a fight against bullying’. Only a sick individuals doesn’t support combating bullying, but in short order this programme morphed into “we’re fighting homophobia and transphobia”. At that point I realized that what we were dealing with was an agenda and sure enough it turned out to be a LGBTQ agenda with the full support of government. As in a dictatorship, you are not allowed to disagree with what the idiotic government has decided is – without sound basis – the ‘right’ view to hold. So if you for good reason disagree with the homosexual lifestyle – which should be your right in a democracy – and through research you’ve learned that medical science has indisputably determined that ‘transgenderism’ is a mental disorder that needs treatment, you are nevertheless intolerantly vilified and stigmatized with the accusation of ‘homophobia’ or ‘transphobia’. Nowadays when a person takes a legitimate stand against something the PC and LGBTQ mob regard their right, they are immediately branded as having a ‘phobia’ and thus a mental disorder. This is the mindset of totalitarian dictatorship, so my reaction was ‘To hell with this’ and I took on the school board and school.

But this not the worst, so if you today are regarded as too vocal and too public in you criticism or condemnation of murderous Muslim violence, Islamic advocacy or threats of violence, or condemn the utterly disgusting hate-filled, intolerant and bigoted supremacist teachings of the Qur’an, you can be hauled before a Human Rights Commission and heavily fined. If you doubt me I refer you to the experiences of Ezra Levant and Mark Steyn, the latter who finally had such a guts full of Canada with it dismal lack of acceptance of free speech, that he left Canada and now lives in New Hampshire. Canada is now a sham democracy and under the leadership Justin Trudeau degenerating into a nut job country.

You are correct to say that children should be taught in schools what a savage ideology is Islam, about it’s violent 1,400 year history that has taken the lives of more than 270 million people, and of this hate-filled, intolerant, xenophobic, bigoted ideology and it’s disgusting ‘holy book’, but we know that with Trudeau in bed with Islam it is not going to happen. I truly don’t know what the future hold for this country and for the young grandchildren in my custody, so increasing wish there were some country worth departing for.

I’ve been seriously thinking about NEW ZEALAND, I live in Los Angeles, as Joni Mitchell called it –
“City of the Fallen Angels” and it’s seriously depressing – they come from all over the U.S. to “share the bounty and get away from ‘winter’ They all have their baseball caps-on-backwards like you’re supposed to. Many of the “leftys” have full beards – the extreme ‘right’ have longer beards that come 1/2 way down their chests – or they shave their heads bald! Because of this “influx”, property values
are off the charts. A little 1- BR house I lived in for 20 years – with rent control – went from $500 a month to $2,000. Many long-time Angelinos moved to Colorado, Arizona, Utah. And Hollywood? Ugh.
The “gay” thing is a little more difficult to articulate. It’s been “around” since ancient Greece and long before that. But it’s NOT mainstream. We who are not gay are the MAINSTREAM of society. They are
a SMALL PERCENTAGE – they should not be allowed to DICTATE to us what our society should be.
Be “gay” if that’s what you feel you’d like to be – but don’t try to RAM IT down our throats! (pardon the
expression). You can ram anything you like – anywhere – you can ‘dress’ the way you want – you can
even “marry” – if that’s what you want – but keep it private. Don’t PARADE it down our streets – and
DO NOT try to INDOCTRINATE our children. Keep your “paws” away from MY CHILDREN – they’re
MINE – not yours! They’ll make up their own minds when they GROW UP. You are NOT ALLOWED
to fill the minds of MY children with “concepts” which are beyond their ability to understand.

Hi Moya, I very much like your views and attitude. What a pity to see California – that I’ve visited on three occasions – go to the dogs the way it has with lunatics making pretenses of being sane and the minority ruling the majority. In this respect Canada is little different today, which is why I now regard it a sham democracy. The irony for me, a South African of Scottish and Irish descent, is that in South Africa when through newspapers for ten years speaking out against racial policies with which I disagreed, almost everything I wrote was published, yet in Canada that likes to imagine itself free and open, does not possess even closely the freedoms I enjoyed in South Africa before black rule turned it into a black racist mess and economic basket case. My only fear for New Zealand is it’s feckless political leaders permitting influx of Muslims who in time will turn it into a volatile and confrontational society – yet another society that through well-intended liberal foolishness forgot to protect it values and peoples.
I wish you well.

It’s really sickening that even on this site, post are being deleted (like mine), since you are not allowed to post negative information (undeniable facts that are incontestable) concerning blacks, blm, islam and their followers but one can post negative information (no truth in it) on Christ, Christianity, Jews, etc and those who love freedom and the American way of life. I have also had the bad experience of having my personal information (hacked of password) on another site like this one. It was not on my end but somehow my password was released to another person since my post was a hot potato to handle.on the topic of muhammed and who he really was, according to their quran.and hadith. I also take my other usernames with me, such as bannedquran20 and 30. I’m gonna miss a few of you guys and gals that are tops on the subject of islam.

You can actually say anything You like on this and other sites. Just space the forbidden word differently–F uck,
C unt, C ocksucker, M otherf ucker…
You could also just change a letter– sh1t, b1tch, n*gger…

Congrats Pam on finally seeing some justice done on this case

I use the Phonetic Alphabet in certain words. But in another site, I was replying to another on the subject of islam that he could not answer and so I see the words “Deleted” where my post should have been. The clown in questioned started bragging that my 4 post was deleted. Every time I replied to him, it would be deleted and I did not use any vulgar or threatening approach. I did however logged out and signed back in but to no avail. On this site, when I do get on the topic of islam, many of my replies to individuals do not appear. Thanks anyway for your message. I appreciate it.

I got banned from Al Jazeera pretty quick, then all the haters took pokes at me. They kept hitting the [reply] to my messages & I couldn’t reply to them–very sick twisted people over there
sounds like your ‘clown’ was a moderator

I had the same experience when I was discussing muhammed according to their quran and hadith and my comments were deleted one by one. It shows though that many are bowing down to islam. islam, the enemy of mankind.

Muslims are not patriotic. They don’t believe in Nationalism or show any real concern about the country they live in. In the US, if they go to a porting event, they sit, when everybody else rises for the National Anthem. This is done for the same reason that NFL players take a knee. They want to show that there is a bigger concern on their part than the country. Islam comes first, and is more important to them than human life.
When we stand to show our respect at a sporting event, we are also remembering those who fought in wars, and died, and stand for them too. This emotion is not present in America, and that particular attitude angers many of us.
We are never going to love Islam. and it will never let us be us. It is a cruel and greedy ideology, and does not benefit any living person, except the very top theocrat. I call that a dictatorship which uses the force of religion as a lever.

Who was Mohommad again? Oh Yeah – that MURDERING, PEDOPHILE with 3 – 4 “Wives” who claimed to be in contact
with “God”, and if he didn’t like people’s “dhimmitude” he simply MURDERED them. To the tune of MILLIONS!
STAND UP! SPEAK YOUR TRUTH! FIGHT the “NEW WORLD ORDER”! SAVE YOUR COUNTRY!
