Nigeria: Muslims release kidnapped Muslim girls, keep captive Christian girl who refused to convert

30

The international media will not make much of any mention of this. If, however, the girl who was still being held was Muslim and her captors Christian, the mainstream media would be full of stories of “islamofauxbia.” But instead, she is a Christian, so the “human rights community” has nothing to say. This story will pass virtually unnoticed, like so many before it, and so very many yet to come.

“My daughter was not released because she refused to embrace Islam – Dapchi Parent,” by John Saleh Aminu, Politics Nigeria, March 22, 2018:

Sharibu Nata, father of the only Dapchi girl still held back by Boko Haram has revealed why the terrorists did not release his daughter, Liya Sharibu.

Story continues below advertisement

Mr. Sharibu told Raypower 100.5 FM in an interview that according to information available to him, his daughter was told to embrace Islam to regain her freedom but she refused. He said he was happy she didnt follow the dictates of the terrorists to denounce Christianity.

Below is a transcript of the Interview;

*Interviewer:* What is the situation how many of the girls have been returned?

*Sharibu:* I’m not in Dapchi, I’m on duty call. I called those in Dapchi and I was informed that my daughter was not released.

*Interviewer:* How many have been released?

*Sharibu:* All of them were released. They said some were dead there and my daughter is alive but they said she is a Christian and that is why they cannot release her. They said if she wants to be released until she converts and become a Muslim and she said she will never become a Muslim.

*Interviewer:* Which of the parent whose daughter has been released have you spoken with?

*Sharibu:* I spoke to about five to six of them whose daughters were released.

*Interviewer:* So, are they presently with their daughters as we speak?

*Sharibu:* Yes, they are presently with their daughters in Dapchi according to report.

*Interviewer:* How were they released?

*Sharibu:* They were dropped inside Dapchi by Boko Haram this morning (Wednesday).

*Interviewer:* Around what time where they released?

*Sharibu:* Well, it’s not up to 30 minutes (9:20am to the time of interview) now since their arrival.

*Interviewer:* So what’s the mood in Dapchi now, I guess jubilation?

*Sharibu:* Yes, jubilation but only my side, I am very sad but I am also jubilating too because my daughter did not denounce Christ.

*Interviewer:* What is the name of your daughter?

*Sharibu:* Her name is *Liya Sharibu.*

*Interviewer:* And you were told because she refused to become a Muslim that’s why they refuse to release her?

*Sharibu:* Yes….

Oh God, how they of the female sex are abused.
Why God, why, and when will it all be over.
I cannot cease weeping, so I ask, where are people’s hearts?

Men can be trained toward evil. That’s what Mohammed figured out. And male ownership of females was one of the means of winning the support of men…but it meant turning them toward callous cruelty.

These are interesting comments and questions. Quayin (Cain) killed his brother Abel. Perhaps he was not trained, but the deep instinct of jealousy rose up in his being.
Only God knows our hearts, or so I believe. I feel we are seriously flawed, but there is also goodness in most of us. I have no answers.
I mean some people are so shallow, and do not appear to have depth of feeling, no morals, quick to anger, rage, jealous, possessive, this is the world over. The Bible says our mouths are like open tombs, I should recheck that.
I find some peace through prayer, but that is me personally. All people have the right to believe or not believe, to have free choice.
This poor girl, our poor crazy world. Peace.

My prayers to the parents of Liya Sharibu and to this brave girl as well. May God protect Liya from harm and soften the hearts of her captors. I pray that her captors come to their senses and think deeply about how they would feel if other men harmed their mothers, sisters, grannies like this. That they would realize the terrible acts they are committing before God. That they feel the worth of every human person, and understand that how serious their sin is before the Creator.
Women are not sex objects, they are not “stuff” that one possesses. We all will answer to God. Let all the women go, release even the remains of those murdered so families have closure. Stop hurting people by kidnappings and killing. These are my prayers.
Such courage in one so young and so beautiful, I see the Lord’s light in her, and am overcome with emotion.

As I pray for many children in this world, I wish to ask for those that are so called or moved, that prayers be said for the family of Cristina Ebada Khader, (excuse me if I have the spelling wrong). She is a 3 y/o child taken away from her frail mother, and her elderly blind father, by a warlord. The incident took place in Syria or Iraq, the family was evacuating out of war area to go on bus, the child is Christian, was taken out of mother’s arms, left the woman inconsolable. I thnk the brothers went looking for the child. The parents were told to board the bus or all would be killed. I think Christian organization was trying to look into getting the child back by hostage payments.
For the sake of mercy, of pity’s sake, let this child be found and returned to her parents if they are still alive. The mother was suffering so. Please pray for change of heart of the captors.

As usual, the feminist movement is submissive to islamic patriarchy as is the way of today’s feminist.

They don’t really like submissive males–famous guys are on record saying the only way to keep a relationship with them is to smack down their nonsense. So, since few guys want to continuously deal with that, especially when they’re older, feminists often morph into lesbians. They’ll do just fine as Islamist slaves.

In order to keep themselves spiritually blind and on tract with their perverse agenda, most of these “feminists” keep facts and truth about these things happening to real women from entering into their minds, much less their hearts. No one cares less about the real horrors happening to women than Western feminists.

Why does the pope and assorted Catholic mandarins not commend this girl for her resolve in maintaining her Catholicism? No time for Catholics, too busy islamifieing the Church.

Did not the pope say or suggest that Hell does not exist? I don’t thnk he has spoken out about the Desaparecidos in Argentina, he is originally from there? I personally do not believe in the concept of pope, and that he is infallible.
Only God is infallible, imho.

At the end of the day, protests won’t do a damn thing though. One needs a competent government, which Nigeria has not had.

To add, in the kidnapping of schoolgirls when Goodluck Jonathan was leading Nigeria, he waited 18 days before asking for outside help (which then would be too little, too late). Additionally, he embezzled nearly $2 billion that could have gone to fight Boko Haram…and this is largely the upshot now. The outside world won’t give Nigeria any more money to fight terrorism on its own lest it be burned again.

The good news is that this story is not being buried. This young lady is being lauded for her courage and faithfulness all over the world, even by Muslims. It has been reported that some of the Muslims in the area are standing with the family, friends, and church of this young woman, and decrying this great injustice. It is also being reported that there are Muslims having their hearts stirred by the Lord, and wondering about who Jesus really is that this young girl would not take the easy way out, and go home. There is a move of God going on as a result of this event. We should not lose hope, but pray for her instead. This event has shone a very bright light on the continuous barbaric persecution of Christians by these militants; so much so that Secular Humanist governments are speaking out, and possibly doing something behind the scenes. A lot of people are gathering together in prayer regarding this situation. My gut tells me that God is going to turn this to great good. To Him goes the glory.

I did not know she was being lauded all over the world. That is wonderful. I will continue to keep her, and everyone in prayer, as I go about my work.
Easter is an important day of tribute and reflection, imho.

I know her family appreciates all our prayers. And I admit that I don’t pray enough. So thank you and God richly bless you and yours. I think it possible that the fact that around 100 Muslims were immediately release, and the only Christian held back, in tears, is such a huge disparity that even the secularists can’t deny the truth. Even if, in your heart, you are an enemy of God, most Secular Humanist governments have to at least pretend that they are good. God can use their pretense for good. Let’s hope and pray that these militants will be afraid to abuse her too much. She is carrying her Cross. I am sure it is very heavy for a 15 year old, and everyone involved needs our prayers. Go

This is already a very important Easter for me, as peace is being made with a life long enemy,

Poor girl. Too bad the muslum-friendly government of Nigeria won’t be doing anything to save her. I hope she’s not sold off as a sex slave.
