Indiana: Muslim migrant with hotel room overlooking Women’s March caught with ‘tricked out’ assault rifle

66

If Ahmed Alaklouk had committed a jihad massacre at the Women’s March, would “feminist” leaders wake up to the jihad threat that they have up to now ignored and denied? Would they reconsider the leadership role they have given to the pro-sharia Jew-hater Linda Sarsour? Of course not. They would just say that poor Alaklouk was reacting to “islamophobia,” and call for more appeasement and accommodation of Hamas-tied groups such as CAIR. The Women’s Marchers are already so committed to their denial of reality that no amount of reality will ever break through their illusions and delusions.

“Man with hotel room overlooking Women’s March caught with ‘tricked out’ assault rifle, Indiana cops say,” by Jared Gilmour, Miami Herald, March 12, 2018 (thanks to Blade Runner):

His black Chevrolet Avalanche was parked at an Indianapolis hotel in January on the day of the city’s Women’s March — and the vehicle was loaded with weapons, Indianapolis police said.

Story continues below advertisement

There was an AR-15-style rifle stowed between the front passenger seat and the middle console of the pickup, as well as six handguns scattered in the back, according to a criminal complaint. Concerned employees at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Indianapolis had called police to investigate at 3 a.m. on Jan. 20 after they noticed the firearms in the vehicle.

When police spoke to the man the car was registered to — Ahmed Alaklouk, 22 — he admitted the car was his, and said the rifle belonged to his father. Noticing the weapon had been equipped with a scope, bipod and bump stock, police said they asked Alaklouk if it was in fact a bump stock. He responded yes, saying “it’s fully tricked out,” according to the criminal complaint.

Bump stocks are used to accelerate the firing rate of rifles. Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock used a bump stock during the October 2017 shooting he carried out at a music festival, killing 58 and injuring hundreds more with a rapid-fire spray of bullets from his hotel room overlooking the concert.

Alaklouk — a Saudi citizen and native of Tunisia — had no gun permit, an expired Indiana driver’s license and had been living in Indiana illegally on a terminated student visa since September 2017, according to the criminal complaint. He’s now facing federal charges for possessing a gun while living in the country illegally. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in federal prison.

The room he was staying at Jan. 20 overlooked the site of Indianapolis’ 2018 Women’s March, which drew about 3,500 women, the Indianapolis Star reports. But Alaklouk wasn’t arrested until about a week later, during a second gun-related incident, police said.

During their first encounter with Alaklouk at 3 a.m. on Jan. 20, police told him “not to leave firearms in the open due to the amount of vehicle break ins that occur in the downtown Indianapolis area,” the complaint said. Police told Alaklouk either to put the weapons in his hotel safe or keep them out of sight in the car.

At 7:45 a.m., though, hotel security checked to see if the weapons had been moved, and saw the rifle in the same place between the middle console and the passenger’s seat. Realizing his room overlooked the march, the hotel asked police to remove Alaklouk. Indianapolis police had Alaklouk and two unidentified men leave the room, according to the criminal complaint, and then authorities monitored Alaklouk that day as he went to the tire shop he owns in he city.

A week later, though, Alaklouk was in trouble again, police said.

This time a woman arrived at the shop with her father on Jan. 27 complaining of a shoddy tire. A disagreement over the tire escalated into violence — with Alaklouk grabbing the father by the neck and forcing him to the ground, according to the complaint. Then Alaklouk and one of his employees pulled out guns and pointed them at the father, investigators said.

At that point, the woman grabbed her own gun and fired a shot in the air, hoping to get the armed men away from her father, according to the complaint. Instead, Alaklouk had the employees detain the pair as he ran to get his assault rifle. When he returned with the AR-15-style weapon, he told the woman and her father: “If you leave I’ll f—-g kill you,” the complaint said.

As the woman got in the car to leave, Alaklouk kicked the vehicle and then blocked her car in with his own vehicle, the complaint said. The woman and her father called police, and when authorities arrived Alaklouk dropped his weapon….

Alaklouk told police he had been in the Saudi military before quitting, and wanted to join the U.S. Air Force, according to the complaint.

Damned if they do, damned if they don’t. So with no legal cause to know his immigration status and no clear legal violation they decide to err on the side of the Second Amendment to advise him to secure his weapons you find fault. Hindsight is 20/20 especially when you have the article to help you sort it out. Would you be as upset if they took an illegal action and seized the firearms of a citizen?

When carrying a long gun, in a car whether parked or otherwise, it is to be unloaded and cased or fully dismantled. That, alone, would be reason to charge the man. At which point, his invalid (expired) driver’s license, would come into question. Seizing a legally owned, and properly carried, firearm would have violated rights. However, if this article can be believed, there was ample cause for further investigation. I am not a law officer or professional. However, having transported long guns, in vehicles, since I got my “farm permit” (issued at age fifteen), I have been cognizant of the law of properly carrying a rifle, or shotgun, within a vehicle. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. In this case, no “slippery slope”, just bad law enforcement.

With no LEO experience it’s easy to criticize. All seems so simple from our armchair when we don’t have to consider pesky things like probable cause. What passes for you as bad law enforcement might seem to others as an attempt to not be jackbooted thugs…

I only know the law, regarding a long gun in a vehicle. DNR, flashing lights and all, used to pull us over, just to check … making certain that, at age sixteen, we weren’t “road hunting”.

You don’t need law enforcement experience to see something stinks because the cops did nothing after learning he had an expired license, WITH loaded firearms in the car. In any “normal” agency, that would have given them probable cause to further search the vehicle. This is not just mere “criticism.” This is blatant dereliction of duty. All involved should be investigated and possibly charged.

Good and F-ed up cops CREATE probable cause. “You failed to use your turn signal.” “You were weaving in and out of your lane.” “You were going… (speeding).” “You look nervous.”

Good cops CREATE probable cause when recognize F-ed up a-holes. They use it to get them off the streets. Bad cops CREATE PC because they just like to F- with people.

I’m not going to follow any ‘law’ that doesn’t allow me immediate usage of any of the guns in my vehicle, in just the same way I wouldn’t expect a police officer to. Also Arizona is a constitutional concealed state, so while you are here You are allowed to legally conceal weapons without a permit. Are You sure you aren’t quoting something about transporting a gun within a school zone? That would explain having to unload the gun–Just one more reason I no longer do any work in schools

I really question the validity of the ‘law’ you present, as I transport concealed weapons in my vehicles at all times–In fact several years ago me & some friends did an ‘open carry’ event on the light rail and while some folks were surprised to see us, we had no trouble.

Achmed Mohammedan
Achmed Mohammedan

Open carry is totally different. That’s when one is not in a vehicle. Nohio, also, is an open carry state. When my brother was teaching at the medical school, University of Arizona at Tuscon, I used to visit. I had harvested many, many white tail, but never a muley … sadly, that’s still on my bucket list. Back in the late seventies, I recall going into an HEB .. people had hawglegs strapped on … and it was somewhat commonplace. Going through lettuce, whenever someone came up .. strapped .. I’d always tell ’em .. YOU take YOUR pick first.
However, the transport of long guns is slightly different. If you follow that link, you can see how Arizona allows a carrying a loaded hand gun, concealed or simply holstered. However, transporting .. on a public road … shotguns and rifles are to be unloaded and cased, or dismantled (eg: bolt removed from a rifle).

billdeserthills

That sounds like Federal rules to me

Achmed Mohammedan
Achmed Mohammedan

I don’t believe those are federal rules. Could be. The link that I earlier attached was to an official Arizona state website. If those are federal regulations, federal law supersedes state. Maybe, it is federal and Arizona is simply following the guidelines. But, you can carry a handgun, fully loaded .. as long as it is holstered or in your glove compartment. I was pleased, for Arizona residents, to learn of that. Pretty good reg.

Sounds like Trump needs to take over the Indianapolis Police department, fire every one on the force who knew about this dude and didn’t charge him with crimes. Ditto all other local officials who knew about it.
This is the same thing as the Parkland shooting. DOJ needs to make an example out of this by charging negligent officials with crimes and putting them in jail. This Muzrat appeasement has to stop – it’s getting us killed.

Typical muslim immunity in America, or anywhere else for that matter, a muslim cop murders a civilian in cold blood, instead of being charged, he is give the full protection of the police and government. Same here, it took several crimes to be committed before the police were forced to react, to as the court will later decide, a muslim with psychological problems.

Who even needs a bump stock? Get a hell fire switch instead. It costs half as much, clips right on the grip, comes with a certificate of legality, and fits right in your pocket. You just have to figure how it works on your particular weapon and then you can go broke emptying magazines.

Tire shop … Well. He has ‘daddy warbucks’ or someone behind him with cash. … But that’s not the end of the story.

Unless the deal is all cash – an American must have a business plan for the future business, cash flow from the existing business for the last two years, and 20% down for a commercial loan – and / or a raft of investors. Then comes permitting and insurance, licenses and certifications, experience in the business, and so on.

To top it off. Nothing is good enough in some cases. You’re just the wrong kind. Unless you’re not. Banking rules, the banks’ quotas for lending that is, limit the number of ‘Whites,’ ‘locals,’ and ‘Americans’ who can take a commercial loan.

Then come the Victim card advantages. The MBE/DBE system will turn your commercial loan process into something akin to the “Liar” loan- “Victim” loan process for mortgages.

If you’re flying with a real business – e.g. grandfathered with existing accounts, or with a whopping load of windfall cash – you don’t see this world.

But do not get me wrong – this is NOT a bed of roses. Have had several Muslim clients and Indian clients who have been through this process – and like the ‘Liar’ loan process – it leads good folks who would otherwise have developed great businesses to do things ‘stupid.’

So what happens? You – an ordinary American – knowing you have worked decades for ONE SHOT – dare not pay a Zillion dollars for that run down gas station with the giant neon sign reading ‘Eco-hazard All American Owners Will Be Fried.’ You just would not touch it for the price of salvage.

BUT these “migrants” (invaders) will not only buy this wreck and its headaches, but they will pay 50% to 100% too much. The real estate guys fleece ’em. (And I would remind everyone that two wrongs don’t make a right.) The worst case I have seen was an Indian family that paid $1.1 million for a hotel worth little more than $150Gs. But a more common example was an Indian family – fresh off the boat – who bought a hotel for $2.1 million with less than $100Gs cash. The hotel was a wreck and they used chain migration and illegals to run it. But it has a great location and it might be worth $3-4 million if sold.

It is also not uncommon that savvy Indians who understand this system will buy a restaurant or hotel – for the location. We had a local family who bought a restaurant for about $700Gs. Yes – most of that was borrowed – MBE/DBE money none of us could get – and they ran the place into the ground. But they sold it for $1.75MM. It took ’em awhile, but their greed prevented them from flipping the place in a timely manner – they spent about 5 years asking $3.5MM for the place, which was way too much.

So when you consider what they have to work with, one would wonder why this terrorist only had a tire shop.

Not even competent at exploiting our ‘Americans Last’ Fake Entrepreneur Diversity Programs.

Why was he not arrested after holding the girl and her father at gunpoint? Why wasn’t anybody arrested? The girl and her father were then justified to pull out their own guns.
