Iranian Supreme Leader Demands Americans Disarm

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has actually called on America to stand down on the Second Amendment and “make guns illegal.”

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

He made the remarks in response to the recent school shootings in America, the latest of which in Parkland, Florida, resulted in the death of several students and staffers.

And as radical as his remarks sound, just take note of this: His call is exactly what the left here in America wants.

Story continues below advertisement

Yes — the left in America is one and the same as Iran’s dictatorial religious leader, at least on the notion of guns.

The Washington Free Beacon has more:

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is calling on America to “make guns illegal” in light of deadly shootings that have taken place across the United States, according to comments made by the Iranian leader over the week.

Khamenei, who has instructed his government to spend billions of dollars on military hardware and ballistic missiles, lashed out at the United States over the weekend, calling on America to ban all guns in light of a series of domestic shootings.

“No one dares apply the clear solution to the promotion of guns and homicide in America. What’s the solution? It’s to make guns illegal,” Khamenei wrote on Twitter.

In a sweeping thread that touched on gun violence and the homicide rate in America, Khamenei criticized the U.S. “gun lobby” and called on America to ban weapons.

“In U.S., 100s are killed every week by homicide for no crime,—no reason—not at the hands of police, as US police brutality is a separate issue,” the Iranian leader wrote. “The accessibility of guns leads to homicide; it’s created problems for a country like U.S., everyone admits, fears, & is concerned about it.”

Khamenei also accused U.S. lawmakers of corruption and of kowtowing to the gun industry, which has lobbied against certain restrictions on firearms.

“Gun companies are so powerful that House representatives and U.S. senators don’t dare pass prohibition of guns, and U.S. president doesn’t dare speak out, rise against it,” he wrote. “This is corruption.”

“Corruption means domination of a mafia greedy for power & wealth, in a way that the big political & military system like U.S. won’t dare stand up for prohibition of guns—which is clearly positive,” the leader added. “This is due to lack of spiritual ideals, leading western societies to this point.”

Khamenei’s call comes on the heels of a series of protests across Iran in which dissidents took to the streets to rally against what they viewed as the Khamenei government’s own corruption.

The protestors criticized Iranian leadership for spending billions of dollars it received as a result of the landmark nuclear agreement on weapons and foreign military intervention in the Middle East, including in Syria, Yemen, and elsewhere.

May I recommend both the .300 Weatherby magnum and the .300 Winchester magnum? I have found them both to have exceedingly good killing power at long distances.

I’ve been considering a 6.5 Creedmoor lately. Easier felt recoil, good for hunting, and reasonably good distance accuracy…

I’ve tried that. I prefer my Win .243s. I’m only looking at the .223, as the ammunition is damned cheap. I haven’t reloaded (other than shot shells) since my benchrest shooting days … and I don’t feel like doing it now.

The 6.5 has better overall velocity and accuracy at around 400+ yard mark which is where I want to play at the range (ringing those gongs). The .243 is a stellar Whitetail round and a local mainstay though. Decisions decisions decisions…

Get ’em both. The .243 is a flatter shooter, out to around 250 (plus yards), with an 80 grain boat tail. I know many that swear by the Creedmore. When the sales for Thompson Compass, after $75.00 rebate, came in at a penny under two hunnert dollars, I picked up one, chambered for the 6.5. Actually, aside from the composite stock (I am not fond of plastic stocks), and their light weight … those suckers are surprisingly accurate. So, pick up several. Those that become your favorites, update the selection to something with more snob appeal. The only problem, that bothers me with the Compass … my optics ran around three times the price of the rifle.

Nah. Then you’ll want a .450 Rigby. Most of my adult life, I have lusted after a Holland and Holland double, in either .416 or .450 Rigby. Although, still on my bucket list … it’s soon to be removed, as I don’t know if, at my age today, I could handle the recoil.

I planned two major acquisitions, that I have wanted since my mid twenties. One was either a Purdy and Sons or a Boss and Company “Best Gun” in 28 gauge and a Holland and Holland double rifle. I scored a Purdy 28, twenty-two years ago, at auction …. It went at such a low amount that I could actually cover my bid. Since then, I’ve been on the prowl (after setting aside “hidey-hole” money for better than ten years) for the Holland and Holland. Now, I don’t know. Two factors, can I afford it, with only “hidey hole” money and … could I handle the felt recoil.

Your more well schooled in fire arms more than me. I look at these kind of weapons you talk about as specialty fire arms. What make them so desirable to you. I have never shot any gun like that. I have always looked at to much recoil as a negative in shooting certain guns. And have never needed that much power. But i guess its a nice thing to have for that extra something when it comes to power.

I’m a classic gun nut. I LOVE fine wood and metal .. and the wood metal fit is important to me. There is something about the look and feel of a fine firearm … it’s beyond orgasmic. On higher felt recoil rifles … You’re not out punching paper too often. Maybe, once in a very blue moon … just to touch, feel, load and fire … It’s an experience beyond any other … Pleasure beyond description.

I looked up that purdy. Looks like those go for more than most full sized diesel trucks. Why are they so much. Good score. That’s another thing that is so wonderful about fine firearms. They mostly appreciate in value compared to what most people collect with become utterly worthless.

For Long Range I will stick with my .308 +P aka 30-06. Which has been used to take down every game animal around the world as well as enemy soldiers.

Firearm sales dropped, drastically, following Trump being elected president. Prices for ammunition and sidearms that I hadn’t seen, since I returned to the US in 2000. Now, with all of this banning talk and demonization of constitutional rights groups … Perhaps, they’ll soar again. Obimbo and Clownton were the best gun sales people that the USA had ever seen. Time to stock up on ammunition while it’s still relatively inexpensive. I have many center fire rifles, but nothing in .223/5.56. Good grief, they’re priced at around 22-25 cents per round … I started looking for a rifle, that would accommodate that ammunition, just yesterday.

Oh btw, I often read Breitbart news.. Over the last few months I have had SO MANY comments deleted, that I am having to use misdirection…Phonetics, but the words are spelled really differently… I have never been censored here.. I was censored yesterday on BB, when some one posted about pope francis and what a leftie he is.. He made the comment that now it really is a question “Is the pope catholic?” I responded with maybe we could ask “Does the pope sh&t in the woods”, It got taken down.. I noticed today that Disqus in Breitbart is “Down due to maintenance”.. More severe censorship coming I believe. they are changing the Al Gore Rhythm…

Notice not a single mention of the Second Amendment which addresses the type of tyranny Iran and others have as a stock in trade.

During WWII, the Imperial Japanese were toying with the idea of an amphibious assault on the US West Coast. Their Admiral Yamamoto warned them, “There will be a gun behind every blade of grass.”. They abandoned the idea. There is your example of a “well regulated and armed militia.”

Khamenei won’t reveal his real reason for wanting to disarm ordinary Americans.
The real reason is that then Muslim stabbings, shootings, bombings, acid
throwing and car rammings would be so much more effective.

If one remembers that in Red Dawn, the lists kept by our government allowed the enemy to know who owned what and where. Obviously this is an extreme example, but look at the bad actors through history. The Nazi’s were meticulous record keepers, which helped convict them at Nuremberg, Stalin’s regime disarmed and purged and dug into people’s lives, the common theme is disarming the populace. The government does not have a right to know who owns what even though they dutifully collect and keep such information. Ask yourselves why they do that.

Mr. Kahameni, I think a much better idea would be to start a donation drive of used guns that we send to your third world country so your citizens can properly overthrow your corrupt ar*e and implement a democracy with legal gun ownership so someone like you never gets in power again. How about those apples?
