12 Christians Murdered in Nigeria for Trying to Protect Girls From Forced Islamic Conversions

51

The international media will not make much of any mention of this. If the victims were Muslims, the mainstream media would be full of stories of “islamofauxbia.” But the victims are Christians, so the “human rights community” has nothing to say. This story will pass virtually unnoticed, like so many before it, and so very many yet to come.

“12 Christians Murdered in Nigeria for Trying to Protect Girls From Forced Islamic Conversions,” by Stoyan Zaimov, Christian Post, March 1, 2018:

At least 12 Christians have been killed and another 20 injured in Kasuwan Magani in northern Nigeria in retaliation for believers’ attempts to rescue Christian girls from forced Islamic conversions.

Story continues below advertisement

Morning Star News reported on Tuesday that radical Muslims hunted down Christians and burned down their homes after they had attempted to rescue two girls who were kidnapped and forcefully converted to Islam two weeks ago.

“The names of those killed are not readily available to me at the moment, but I can confirm to you that they are Christians killed in the Christian area of the town,” said James Madaki of the Evangelical Church Winning All.

The victims also included members of Pentecostal, Baptist, Assemblies of God and Seventh-day Adventist churches in the town.

“The case was reported to the police, and the girls were not rescued, so some Christians decided to rescue the girls, but the Muslims in the town attacked them,” Madaki explained.

“The Muslims did not just attack the Christians that went to rescue the girls, but also went around town attacking Christians they sighted and burned houses belonging to Christians.”

Omega Funom, another Kasuwan Magani resident, confirmed that the violence came as a result of the girls’ kidnapping.

“This is the practice by Muslims in Kaduna state. They abduct small Christian girls and force them to become Muslims, and when Christians reject this, they attack them to create the impression that there’s a religious crisis,” Funom said, adding that the Muslims were armed with AK-47 guns….

To become a martyr under Islam you simply have to kill someone.

To become a martyr under Christianity you simply have to die to save someone.

What a contrast! Christians and Jews are not to murder people. Islam states to murder unbelievers who have done nothing to you. Doing this will guarantee “paradise”. Others have to hope their good deeds outweigh the bad deeds to fellow Muslims. It’s a works driven belief.

I’ll stick with God.

John.15:13
[13] Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Christ went further and died for people that HATED Him. That is a special kind of love. Brave people die for their friends but how many die for their enemies?

The reason I challenged you to check out the Scriptures was to see where you stood. Real Christians are not called to be wimps, but soldiers. The apostle Paul used the analogy of the military and other illustrations in a letter to Timothy. “You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops. Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things” (2 Timothy 2:3-7 NKJV).

There is an error in emphasis, taking passages of the Bible out of context. Regarding the Scriptures about the sword, some would quote them to condemn ownership of firearms for defense. Jesus, when He was about to be arrested and crucified, had also said,

“When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?”

So they said, “Nothing.”

Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and HE WHO HAS NO SWORD, LET HIM SELL HIS GARMENT AND BUY ONE. For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.”

So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.”

And He said to them, “It is enough” (Luke 22:35-38 NKJV).

When Jesus was arrested, and Peter struck the servant of the high priest, He said, Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish[a] by the sword. Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus” (Matthew 26:52-54 NKJV).

Jesus did not tell Peter to disarm himself, but to put away the sword. The reason? because Jesus was about to fulfill Scripture by offering Himself as the perfect sacrifice to atone for sin, to die the death we ourselves deserve.

In Africa, a group came to shoot up an entire crowd at a church service, but the pastor owned a gun, and drove away the shooters, so that the casualties were minimal. If you have a wife and family, and an armed man breaks into your house, would you not defend your family with any means possible, preferably with a gun? (The gun does not go off by itself to kill people, but it is people who kill people!)

My former pastor also owns a gun, but he won’t use it to shoot off people’s ears 🙂

Regarding “turning the other cheek”, Jesus was against revenge, but He did not infer that someone should not defend himself and let the other beat him to death.

Finally, regarding religiosity. The leaders in Jesus’ day (the Pharisees, etc.) were religious. Paul called the Athenians with their many idols “religious” (Acts 17:22-24).
Religion, my friend, will not get a person to heaven. Real Christianity is not a religion, but a RELATIONSHIP. It is a relationship with the Lord Jesus. No one can redeem himself by doing good deeds to counteract the evil deeds. He needs Jesus, who atoned for all sin. It is only through Jesus that the person can get to heaven.

We’ll leave it at this. Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

I understand. May I ask a question. Should a poor man offer 1/10th of his earnings as offerings. Does Jesus really want a tenth of a poor man’s wages at end of his working day. Particularly when he needs the entire money for his family. This money actually goes to pastors. Some of them are quite rich. They are also honest, humble, pious and very good men. Am I bothering you, as I see from your time zone, you are at the other side of the globe.

That is a very great question; giving one-tenth is a controversial subject. But the one-tenth, known as tithing, is as old as the Old Testament, and most evangelical Christian churches preach it. I can understand the fear of tithing, and the fear of financial loss. Nevertheless, those who do tithe have experienced financial or other kinds of blessings.

For example, my Dad was an agnostic, and stopped going to church, because of some unpleasant experience. But he still enjoyed reading and studying the Bible. He also had a good, paying job. Still, he had financial hardship, because he had to provide for his wife (my Mother) and for five of us kids, as well as my Grandparents.

One day, my Dad was reading the book of Malachi, the last book in the Old Testament. It was at a time when the Jews had returned from the Babylonian exile, but they got discouraged because the Lord quit blessing them. But the prophet Malachi was addressing their sins which kept them from receiving the blessings. Among them was the issue of tithing. The prophet said to them:

“For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from my statutes and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts. But you say, ‘How shall we return?’ Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How are we robbing thee?’ In your tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me; the whole nation of you. Bring the full tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house; and thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing. I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil; and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the Lord of hosts. Then all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight, says the Lord of hosts” (Malachi 3:6-12 RSV).

My Dad decided to put the Lord to the test. He gave to a certain charity one-tenth of his gross income. Then the blessings, little by little, began to increase. Even the expensive appliances lasted a little longer.

Later on in his life (the 1970s), my Dad did commit his life to Jesus Christ, and the Lord began to bless him even more. He knew a Christian, who also was experiencing financial hardship, and he asked that person if she considered tithing. Well, she started to tithe, and she testified how the Lord began blessing her.

Needless to say, I also tithe, but to my local church. I also had to use common sense, such as not spending money frivolously. There are many other Scriptures on tithing, but this is enough to chew on for now. Let me know if you have any other questions.

” a statistic to the dying atheist West ” is a sad statement but it’s even worse than that, as Pamela noted, this will not make it to the MSM. It should of course be a lead story on every venue but only the alternative news sites will cover it. Shame on those stuffed shirts for forsaking the truth. What a discredit they are to journalism and what traitors they are to western civilization. These Christian kin need our prayers to help them face these savages, as it is likely no other outside help is going to come to their aid. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be going through such an ordeal. I am a parent and a grandparent, and even the thought of this makes my blood boil.

This man doesn’t represent Christianity much less Catholicism. He seems to be in bed with the globalist and I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to say they represent the other guy. As horrible as WW1 & 2 were and every other war fought over the centuries, I don’t think the upheavals they caused in their day would compare to what is unfolding before us now and is yet to come. Fundamentally, first world societies were affected for a few years at a time and returned to what they had been more or less, but today the core of western civilization is being transformed and if not stopped, what we have known as our home countries will no longer exist.

Feminism died decades ago. What masquerades as feminism since is borderline evil. These fools today are following self-described racists and are oblivious to the fact they are just pawns being used in a movement defined by sedition with parts of it actually promoting less rights not more. Like so many other things going on, another head scratcher. In Canada, our idiot PMs wife is currently championing clean drinking water for impoverished nations. Now there is nothing inherently wrong with that but she is using a platform of ” they’re our sisters and mothers and daughters and we must help them “. There are so many instances where persecuted woman and girls could use the voice of a woman of power but in her case, her husband (Trudeau ) is an unabashed muslim sympathizer and it would be unagenda-like to focus on Islamic savagery. So enjoy your slavery girls and don’t worry about the little snip to come, if the pain is too much to bear, they will provide you with a headbag to cry in. What frauds.

He had foreign money and guidance ( Soros ) to play the masses like a finely untuned harp and the Harper crowd were too slow off the mark to get out ahead of him. I was so glad when Canada elected Steven Harper. What happened? My guess is that Canada has lots of voter fraud visited on them by the Left just as in the USA. Canada still has lots of sensible people. But the voter fraud cannot work well unless there is also a large body of mis-educated useful idiots who will vote their brainwashing. Combine that with a large population of non Western thinking people imported in for the destruction of western civilization, and very soon the nation has been stripped of its heritage. All that said, the election of that mindwipe PM of yours was a lower blow than I imagined. Sort of like how I felt when Barack Hussein was handed the reins of the US.

Right now we need to push hard for an internet freedom bill in the USA, and you need to do the same in Canada. Recently Twitter informed the Chair of the House Subcommittee on the sale of baby body parts, Rep. Marsha Blackburn, that she was not allowed to discuss pro life issues, or the murder and sale of baby organs, on their venue in her upcoming re-election campaign. The target of all this censorship is really Christians. More than anything, the crowd advocating for the global worship of Lucifer must silence the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and any mention of sin. People will act now or the rights so many died for will be lost.

I learned a lot from your post. I knew Canada was under even more control than the US by the religion of Secular Humanism and its hammer of political correctness, but things must be even worse than I thought if you don’t have a Trump-like challenger for the next election. You just have to pray for your grandchildren and children, and ask God to open their eyes to the enormous spiritual battle going on worldwide.

There are some very interesting lawsuits being filed in federal court against the monopoly that is Google, and against FB, Twitter and YouTube, Illegal practices are occurring to censor Christians conservatives, and the real journalists of the truth media, including demonetization of videos on YouTube and theft of the intellectual property of YouTube channel holders. Sometimes they just wipe out all the content of a channel that just tells the truth. Thugs, roving gangs of destructive “youths”, and jihadis can post all kinds of violence and nothing is done.

What a remarkable time we live in. God promised it would get interesting, but we already have the victory. As things get darker there will be more people coming to their senses and asking the right question. Then your light will shine in the darkness as a beacon of truth and hope. Stay well and in joy friend. All hands on deck. You are much needed wherever you are. And pray for the true (not government controlled) Christians of China. Their dictator has accomplished his plan to become dictator for life. China has some of the toughest, boldest, and most active Christians in the world. The church there just continues to grow as they ramp up the surveillance, persecution, and arrests.

I’m with’ya brother. I found 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 most enlightening as an explanation for todays seemingly unexplainable behaviours and actions. I’am also keeping a close eye on Jerusalem. As prophesied, it has once again become a world focus issue and I think it likely that muslim violence will explode against it because of the capital status it now has thanks to Trump. I think this will get ugly and that Israel will be forced to annex the rest of the city. If this is done, then the temple rebuilders will have nothing to hold them back. Once they complete their task and the daily sacrifice begins again, then the final countdown will start. I think most of what we are seeing today is in line with Gods agenda and timetable. So yes , pray for loved ones, pray for those leaders who are standing against the flow and holding their ground for Christs’ sake, pray for all our kin around the world facing evil and persecution, and pray for the Holy Spirit to draw as many to Christ as can be. ” Be not afraid for I have overcome the world “. May His will be done. Be well brother

He has been in office a little more than one year. Trump can’t single handedly end abortion. I think he is in favor of turning this decision back over to the states, where it always belonged. Clearly he personally hates it just as much as it is a sacrament to Hillary. What Trump has done behind the scenes is work with some very dedicated people who have been identifying elite pedophile networks. Many children have been set free, and pedophiles arrested. The MSM is never going to report on this because their are handmaidens of the globalists, many of whom are into all kinds of creepy things.

Islam is sooo evil… Truly we are living in prophetic times. It’s like the world has gone mad. This covering up for Islam boggles my mind and yet, many of our youth and adults know nothing about how vile Islam is. Maybe it’s inconvenient to learn about it. Is is easier to just accept what CNN says? Do they really believe that this is NOT the real Islam when they do hear about things – that this is a mentally ill person who just happens to be a Muslim? How do they avoid the predictable pattern of death with JUST ISLAM? Terrorist = Muslim!

I also wonder if this is part of the “delusion” God promised?
